When you ask questions about the name Bill and Kennys birds you will get a wonderful story how it is a family run business by her and her husband and her sister and brother in law. The reason they are listed on Birdbreeders as being in CT is that's where her sister lives. Anyway we unsuspectingly ordered 6 African Grey babies from this woman. We sent her a deposit through PayPal and she told us the babies would be ready second week in March (the babies were suppose to be 4 weeks old at that time).
When it got closer to the babies being ready she then informed me that she never said the babies would be 4 weeks old and that she only sells them right as they are pulled from the nest at 2 weeks old before their eyes are even open. When we let her know that this was not our agreement she had a bit of a hissy fit told me a whole bunch of stuff of how I'm this and that. I let her know that I was confused because she said she had a woman who does nothing at her aviary but Hand feed the babies. She then went on to say she never said such a thing it would cost her a fortune to have had hand feeder hand feed so many babies at one time and would cut into her profit. RED FLAG so once we got her address 458 Helene Avenue Shirley New York and went on other Bird sites on Facebook to ask if anyone had ever dealt with ,africangreysny.com the s*** hit the fan and we found out who this b***h was.
Her background with selling all those sick Bulldog puppies that died on all those poor families. That her name (Supposedly real one) is Michelle Fazio and run as fast as you can. We never let on that we knew who she was after this but I did go a mission to be a complete and uncooperating b***h to her. When she called me to tell me about the babies she informed me of their age and I told her we would not take them that young she offered me a refund. REFUND in my head i was like yeah ok BUT PRAYED so hard that it would come through. We were what I'm assuming one of the few lucky ones and did receive a refund. We found out also that she sells "Breeding Pairs" and the pairs will end up being two males or two females. They will also have diseases that actually wiped out a woman who had been breeding Greys for years whole business. Also if you purchase birds from her and you are willing to go to her home to pick them up she will tell you you can only come at night on a weekend. I contacted her and said i wanted to do a dna test. She said "why would you do that and stress them out". She said her husband was an attorney and she worked on wall street. Also her phone number is in georgia but the birds were shipped from ny with the name of robin on the shipping label from parrots of the world inc. And a phone number of 203-772-9133 in hollis ny. I waited another 5 months before i finally had the birds tested and sure enough one pair was both male. I contacted her and she said she was no longer in the bird business, yet her websites are still up. She did finally admit that she had a girl that helped her and maybe the birds got mixed up. She finally said she would ship me a female and i could send her a male back at my expense. Tried to set up a ship date but she said weather was bad in ny. I checked laquardia airport and the weather was fine for 5 or 6 days and no storms forecast. I told her a flight i could get that would not have a long layover and she said no it would have to be later as they both worked. She was supposed to call me this week and has not. When i sent her a text asking when, she said she would have her husband call me. So far nothing. This is the other number for her 770 864 3645.
