Started procedure 1 year ago.Wife became ill after 1 month. After 4 months procedure was restarted. Then she was diagnosed terminal. Only goal she had was to get her teeth. Through all of this she has also battled with eating with no teeth.

Teeth were paid for in advance by his request 1 yr ago.To date still no teeth & now he does not respond to any communication. As a result looks like she will pass without her teeth

Had all of my teeth extracted on 8/21/18 and temporary full set of dentures made. I was told there would be some bruising and soreness. I did not expect to look like I got the *** beat out of me by Mike Tyson!

After 3 weeks of healing time I went back to get the dentures adjusted. The day they adjusted them the teeth fit and I felt no pain. The following day they were loose and painful. I also had a headache and jaw pain since the first day of wearing these dentures. I returned to their office to get adjustments and inform them of the continued headache and pain in my jaw a few times per week with same results. Feel and fit okay when I leave and a few hours later they are loose and painful. I asked the attendant and she said that they were not going to be perfect because they were temporary. My response was that they are temporary for a year. I have mouth and jaw pain, a constant headache and I cannot eat with them because they are crooked. Again, adjust and fine and next day back to the way they were.

Again I go back the following day. I had a new attendant and I asked her why they seem fine the day I go in but then a few hours or the next day they are loose and painful again. She said just a minute and left the room. When she came back she handed me CORA CAINE. I had never heard of it before. She asked me not to say where I got it and told me that it is a denture adhesive with a numbing agent in it. They line the denture with it and it glues and numbs and they feel great until it wears off.

After several weeks of complaining of the constant headache and jaw pain with no relief and the ill fit and painful dentures I went to a local dentist for a 2nd opinion. He said that the baseline of the dentures were off and causing my jaw pain and that the lack of depth to the teeth were the cause of the headaches. I went back to affordable denture with this information and they finally decided that they should make me a new set of teeth. I felt so relieved. I have not been able to eat anything substantial, I could not wear the teeth due to the pain and therefore was not able to leave my house.

I go for the fitting for my new set of dentures. They feel fine and seem to fit. This is a Friday afternoon. Saturday morning I was devastated. I put the top in and immediately felt intense sharp pain. There was a spur on the upper pallet. I put in the lower denture and there was 1/4 inch play of front to back movement. The bottom edge of the denture dug into the lower area of both the inner and outer area of my gums.

The following Monday I go to another local dentist. He took one look at the teeth in my mouth and said that there was no way that these teeth were made to fit you 3 days ago. He told me not to wear them and to get a lawyer.

I went back to affordable dentures that day and asked for my 100 day 100% refund and they refused. They were going to deduct for both sets of teeth and all of my office visits.

So I asked instead if I could transfer to the Burns, TN office. They agreed. I went to my car and called the Burns office and they made me an appointment and while they were getting my personal info they had a call come in and put me on hold. When the receptionist came back to the phone she cancelled my appointment and told me they were no longer taking transfer patients.

So, today, November 12, 2018, I went to see a lawyer. It has been 90 days now since I had my teeth extracted. 90 days with an intense headache. 90 days with intense jaw and mouth pain. 90 days that I have not been able to eat anything but soup, potatoes, yogurt and the like. Today I find out that the 100 day 100% guarantee does not start until you get your final permanent denture. SO FOR 1 YEAR AND 100 DAYS I GET TO HAVE A HEADACHE, JAW AND MOUTH PAIN, NOT BE ABLE TO EAT AND NOT LEAVE MY HOUSE BECAUSE I WILL NOT BE ABLE TO WEAR MY LOOSE FITTING, ILL MADE TORTURE DEVICES.

The lady at the front desk needs some customer service training, plus how insurance works. She is loud and abrasive. I recommend this place is you would like the waiting room full of patients to know what you are there for, your insurance information as well as other information that should be kept personal.

The woman will take your insurance information, misrepresent what is covered, assuring you that all you have to pay at that time what isn't covered so you can receive services, all this loudly I might add. Letting the whole room know that if you don't pay the out of pocket at the office visit you will not be seen by the dentist.

Doing this and seeing the dentist, which one is encouraged to pick a service that might be more expensive, but not to worry since the Receptionist claims to call the insurance to verify the payment and services you will be alloted, weeks later you will be issued a bill from Valdosta Affordable Dentures for the whole amount because your choice of treatment was not covered.

In contacting the Valdosta Affordable Dentures about the situation was first met with giggles on how they didn't cover that type of treatment to abuse from her with threats about not paying the bill. And no you can not pay it off.

After months of trying to work this out with my insurance company and the parent organization of Affordable Dentures I am now left with a large bill, that they want to be paid yesterday and no recourse. Surely that has to be a better way.

They rip me off by asking me to pay upfront and work is not completed and they refuse to give me a refund!

Affordable Dentures in Tampa is a ripoff. They sell cheap poor quality dentaures and charge you a premium price. 8 months ago I bought their premium package and yesterday the lower denture cracked in half. These dentures came with a 4 YEAR WARRANTY. It's a scam. When the nurse saw the denture first thing she said was if they repair them they will likely crack again. Next thing she handed me a Release from Liability form which I refused to sign. This would release them from any reliabilty if the denture cracked again. What kind of warranty program is that? The repair they did to the denture was under par and the denture no longer fit. They said now I would hae to pay an additional 180.00 for realignment. I grabbed the teeth and left at that point. Calling them and complaing? Useless. Office Manager left early. No one availale to talk to. I asked to speak with Jase Hackney the owner. He was not available. It's a horrifying experience to be lied to about the warranty, being setup by being handed a release from liabilty form. That I was being fleeced for another 180.00 for realighing after the repair. Now I feel like Im walking around with a mouth full of garbage and I have to search elswhere for a new set of teeth. Very disappointed that i've done business with them. Please stay away from this business.

I went to Affordable Dentures in April of 2016. My teeth were infected down to the roots and had to be removed. I had 3 removed at Aspen Dental prior to this but changed to Affordable Dentures due to pricing. I had 18 teeth removed in May (I had a severe infection in my gums and had to wait for the infection to go away). The Dentist informed me in April that in addition to having all of my teeth removed, I would have to have alveoloplasty performed (reshaping of the jaw bones) on both sides, top and bottom of my mouth so my dentures would be able to fit correctly. The Dentist did not suggest an Oral Surgeon and I do not know if he is qualified (to this day) to perform alveoloplasty. I trusted that he knew what he was doing and I went ahead with the extractions and alveoloplasty. On the pre-op paperwork, I had listed all of my allergies, etc. One of these is being allergic to dissolvable stitching.

After he performed the FIRST alveoloplasty, dissolvable stitches were placed in my mouth. This created redness, swelling and more infection in my gums and was EXTREMELY painful. In addition, there were places in my mouth where jagged bones were trying to come through my gums. I went back to the dentist. They had sent me home with Polygrip and my temporary dentures and told me to place the dentures in my mouth immediately. No one told me not to use the Polygrip and I used it as soon as I got home. This made some of the stitches come out when I removed the dentures. Apparently there was a paper with post-op instructions telling me NOT to use Polygrip, but this was not sent home with me and was still in my file on my second visit. In addition, the temporary dentures were extremely too large for my mouth and looked awkward and clearly were the wrong size. This created much pain and subsequent re-fittings did not solve this. All the re-fittings did was to cut up my gums on every visit.

Eventually, due to severe pain and discomfort after the attempted re-fittings, the dentist looked at my mouth again and first became angry with me for using the polygrip after the first alveoloplasty and accused me of "picking" at my gums. He was extremely aggressive in his tone and made me feel like all of my pain and discomfort was my own fault. I left in tears at how I was treated and also because I was in pain. He said he would have to perform a SECOND alveoloplasty.

So in June I had the SECOND alveoloplasty performed. The nurses, with the exception of 2, all treated me very poorly and were extremely rough with my mouth and dentures. This time, the dentist used regular stitches. These began to come loose almost as soon as I came home. This made the healing almost impossible. The dentist had to re-stitch my gums. I continued to go back and forth to the dentist to have my temporary dentures adjusted and every time they were basically forced into my mouth, creating cuts and scrapes. All during this time, there were places again, where bones were trying to come back through my gums.

The dentist looked at my gums after about 2 weeks and then informed me that he would have to perform a THIRD alveoloplasty. Again, his tone was an accusing tone that made me feel like I had done something wrong. It had gotten to the point where whenever I had to go back to the dentist, I would get physically sick to my stomach on the way to the dentist office. It was only after I reminded the dentist that I had a terminal illness and just wanted my mouth fixed AND after I had my boyfriend come back with me to talk to the dentist about how poorly I had been treated by the dentist and most of his staff, that he softened his tome to me. I also had listed my terminal illness on the pre-op paperwork. Apparently this was overlooked, as well.

In July, I had my THIRD alveoloplasty performed at Affordable Dentures, by the same dentist who had already performed this procedures 2 times before. My gums were cut open and my jaw bones were grinded down for the THIRD time. (I was awake the whole time during all three procedures.) He stitched my gums so severly and with so many stitches that my gums have places on them now where they are pulling up from the bottom of my mouth and the dentures cannot go into my mouth. After this THIRD procedure, my dentures still did not fit correctly, despite his staff trying their best to cram them in. They eventually agreed that they were not going to ever fit and made a new set. It is now August and the dentures still will not fit. The places on my gums at the bottom where they are pulling upwards hurt. I have at least 5 places where bones are still sticking out and creating extreme pain and discomfort. I eventually went BACK to Aspen Dental for a second opinion. They took x-rays and the dentist examined my gums and have concluded that I need to see an Oral Surgeon for yet a FOURTH alveoloplasty.

I went to Affordable Dentures unaware of the reputation of this company and specifically, this office. I weighed 110 prior to April. I now weigh 93. I have lost 17 lbs and am in severely poor health. I just wanted my smile back. I now have to look forward to another painful surgery and months of recovery that could've been avoided if only the alveoloplasty had been performed correctly in May, or June, or July. I want to full refund by Affordable Dentures and will gladly give the dentures back. I now have to figure out how to pay for all of this again and will use Care Credit for this again, if I can get it back from Affordable Dentures. I have learned a painful lesson from all of this. I urge anyone that reads this to pass on to anyone considering Affordable Dentures.

I did what everyone does, when it's finally time for dentures. You search the most affordable place you can find and usually most people end up at affordable dentures in north charleston. Listen do yourself a favor read everything everyone is saying dr Cauley at this office is an egotistical god syndrome testosterone fueled big headed monster . He made my dentures then tried to fit them and it kept hurting me. Two times he came back forced them into my mouth and ripped my lip open and cut the roof of my mouth. I cried out in pain and had to pull it out myself and when I did he stormed out of my room cursing under his breath. The girl helping him was a young black girl which I thought sympathized with me. After he stormed out I simply said, "is he always this angry ? It's not normal behavior from a doctor..." She immediately walked out found him in the hallway told him what I said- then he busts into my room rips off my little white bib thing covered in blood and tells me to get my things and get out! He said go to the front get your money I don't need your money and get out! All of this while I'm crying in pain with nothing to eat with. He glared at me from the hall until I got my refund and walked outside to my car. This was the most horrible experience of my life I cannot believe this county state allows someone like this to serve the public and get rich off people and be so unprofessional. It truly seems that he has mental problems and may be self medicating with drugs. Would be the only explination for such horrible behavior from a "doctor". Please please do yourself a favor I found a doctor who was kind loving patient and all around wonderful doctor and guess what his prices are exactly the same if not cheaper than affordable dentures. Segars dental in west ashley sc. Go there please don't put yourself in the position so many of us have and keep making this monster rich. Segars made my dentures and they are beautiful and fit perfectly ! He will let you come see him anytime and he's so sweet!!! And it didn't cost not one penny more than the monster dr Cauley at affordable dentures! When he made me leave his office he didn't know he blessed my life because now I have the best dentist for dentures in the world!!!!!

Went to Affordable Dentures in Cartersville, Geogia on October 20, 2015. Day 1 Got consult, X-rays, Impressions done. Went back next day got extractions all teeth, dentures were made the day prior and were put in day 2. Got home, day 3 went back, problems with both dentures. Bottom denture not complete. Half denture missing up side. Denture didnt cover all of gum and made my bottom denture pushed out to the right looks like sammy davis with dip in lip and has a sharp end on short side of denture and teeth are not centered but off centured with bottom side tooth in middle on denture instead of to the side. Also the denture gum part is clear and thin. Top denture palate made too far beyond back teeth and higher up on one end on rear end of denture at back of the teeth. The top denture also is off centered in mouth since it has a overlap on side of mouth causing top teeth shift to opposite direction from the bottom that is going the other way. Will never go back after this and if this isnt corrected and made right will dispute credit charge and go elsewhere.
