Advanced Professional Plumbing provided Horrible service, tried to double charge.

How it started with Advanced Professional Plumbing in Glenridge. Called for service on my furnace spoke to Dave Abduladi about.

Tech came, partly dismantled furnace and left promising to get back to me with prices on parts or replacement. I paid $360 bill. Did not hear a word for 4 weeks from Dave; whenever I called, I was told everyone was out. After leaving a message promising bad reviews if they didn't get back to me I miraculously got a call from one of the owners. He informed me that their policy was to not service furnaces that had been under water. Funny no one told me that 4 weeks ago and they didn't have any problem taking my $$$. The guy expressed NO regret about treating a customer this way, no apology, no offer to refund. ADVISE YOU AVOID Advanced Professional Plumbing AT ALL COSTS.

UPDATE: Advanced Professional Plumbing response to 2 official complaints to BBB and Atty Gen has been to lie and accuse me of deception. Rather than try to make things right with a customer they choose to attack. OK someone else gets my purchase of a new furnace and Advanced Professional Plumbing gets a well-deserved bad evaluation. - It took 4 visits to fix resolve our original complaint ("How come there's no hot water in the tub? We have hot water everywhere else in the house!");

- they were over an hour late for visit #3 because they were trying to find the necessary part somewhere in town that morning (which they'd previously told us that they would special order... and they didn't even call the day before to say something like "it isn't it yet");

- they broke our showerhead while fixing the drain in the tub (and although we didn't get charged for parts on that, it does appear that we got charged for time/labor);

- every quote we got seemed to be at least 1/2 of what we would eventually get charged for (the only exception being the most expensive bill for the new hot water holding tank);

- they charged a service fee for visit #1 (what turned into the diagnostic visit) which I might have been OK with if it was otherwise wrapped up into the $2900 hot water holding tank installation (but doesn't appear to have been).

We wound up feeling pretty dissatisfied with Advanced Professional Plumbing. They took a long time to resolve our problem and it wound up costing much more than what we had discussed. What's worst is that we seemed to get different answers about our problem, and thus different recommendations about how to resolve it--and because of how long everything took, we wound up feeling pressured into going with a more-expensive-than-budgeted solution just because we were desperate to get our hot water back--but this was only AFTER they had failed to get the part that they had originally claimed would solve the problem (for a fraction of the cost).

Beware! After the warranty runs out, customer service goes down the drain. Seems they are more concerned with up front business rather than actually providing good customer service for the long haul. Worst experience I've ever had. Won't do business with Advanced Professional Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning again.
