I purchased an auto warranty policy for an 2012 camaro, I figured by the time I finished financing the policy my regular would have expired. And I would have coverage. But, I later decided to trade the car for a 2014 camaro ss, so I did not need that coverage anymore. I called and cancelled the extended waranty plan that I had with AA. I did not have a problem with them stop taking the money out of my account. I having a problem with them returning money back to me that they have gotten for no reason. First, I called and talked to the man that sold me the policy name John Striker and he told me that I need to talk to a man name James Fortino for a refund. I tried for about a week, leaving messages and calling. Finally I got him and he sent me via email information that I needed for a refund. I filled out forms, got odometer statements and contract page and sent all back priority mail to make sure i had a date and time they received the information. After 30 days I called James Forinto he told me refund is being process and I should be getting something soon. After 60 days I sent an email to James and he replied process takes 30 to 90 days and that I will be getting an email telling me when I will be getting my refund.

Well on October 17, 2014 was the 90 day mark and I have gotten nothing except but two prior email that refund process is underway. I think these people are con artist and conducting wire fraud by taking people money and not providing services promise. Good I kept all of the emails from James because, I am going to file with Delaware BBB, Attorney General Office and whomever else will listen. They need to be stopped.

AA Auto protection (like most aftermarket warranty companies) is a total scam. In my case I advised them that I have a fifth wheel camper and I do a lot of traveling. I said I would like some added coverage incase I have a break down. They said that it would be a great idea and then charged me almost $2200 for the coverage.

14 months later I had a break down and they VOIDED my warranty because I had a fifth wheel trailer hitch in the bed of my truck even though it had absolutely nothing to do with the break down. The "customer service" advised that if I had a fifth wheel hitch in the bed of my truck then it would automatically void my warranty. I thought it was shady since I told them BEFORE I purchased the warranty that I had a Fifth wheel hitch!

They claim all their calls are recorded so when I called them on their mistake they said "Oh well our calls are purged after one year". How convenient since it had been 14 months since the call. By law they are required to refund me a prorated amount, but since my vehicle was never "valid" for their warranty I requested a full refund. Of course they claim that they will look into it since I was driving around for 14 months thinking I was covered and now I am stuck with a large repair bill.

Two months after they voided my warranty I still do not have a refund of any kind. I called their "customer service" to inquire on the status of the refund and they were the rudest people I have ever dealt with in my life, total JERKS. By far the worst "customer service" I have ever had in my life! ultimately they said they have 90 days by law to get me my check and they were going to take the full 90 days. I have already stopped two people from getting ripped off by this company and I hope to stop hundreds more.

In addition to my vehicle being automatically voided, they said it would have been voided anyway because the tires and wheels were not factory, it had aftermarket exhaust, and a drop hitch! People my truck comes from the factory with a drop hitch and is not available with out a drop hitch!!! The other aftermarket items were put on at the dealership by the dealership before I bought it! Basically they are saying we will be happy to take your money even though your vehicle is NOT covered by our warranty.

STAY AWAY FROM AA AUTO PROTECTION

On may 2nd Saw their ad online and decided to go for it, but then i found out they had a lot of complaints. I immediately told them i dint want the coverage. They stated that it would take 3 to 5 business days to get my refund. It is now May 17 and still no refund. Their Refund department is a joke, I even talked to the so called owner and also no help. Long story short if they take more than ten days to refund you imagine how well it takes for them to cover your vehicle. Not impressed with their services. filling a dispute with my bank in order to finalize this matter.

On 7/25/2011 I purchased a powertrain plus warranty from AA auto protection. The person that sold it to me was Anthony Cruz. He explained that for a $50 deductible I would be covered for just about anything that could break on my 2006 ford f-150 4 wheel drive. The truck had 147111 miles on it when I bought it from a local dealer. He emphasised the coverages that I was most concerned about, mainly the motor, transmission, 4 wheel drive, air conditioning that they were all covered fully!!! He went on to say that the only thing that would not be covered because of the mileage on the truck was seals and gaskets.

On 5/21/2012 I took my truck to the ford dealer with motor problems, They contacted the warranty company and started a claim. The diagnosis so far is that cylinder #3 is where the problem is. They found the valve keeper missing and that the valve had dropped and seized in the head causing damage to the head and camshaft. the head needs replacing and needs to be removed for further inspection. AA says that is not covered and refuses to pay for anything. the contract states under what is covered #1 ENGINE All internally lubricated parts. It also says blocks and cylinder heads are covered if breakdown was caused by an internally lubricated part. The dealer said it was definitely caused by an internally lubricated part and should be covered, but the warranty company says no.

I need help!!! I want to sue this company to get my truck fixed!!! I cant afford to make truck payments, warranty payments and pay to fix the truck!!! The truck is still at the dealer but nothing is being done. I cant work without the truck so I cant earn money to keep all the payment up. PLEASE HELP!!!

I paid $2500.00 for a warranty. I have had a contract with AA Auto for about a year now, and I have had my first claim, which was only about $400.00. I was unable to get a hold of anyone in the claims department for days. I finally was about to speak with Jim in Customer Service, who was EXTREMELY RUDE. He blatantly told me that they would not cover a rental car for me because it wasn't their fault that my auto shop mis-diagnosed my car, when AA Auto approved my claim.

This man straight argued with me on the phone for 30 minutes with my boyfriend listening in the background. I then

asked to speak to his supervisor, Jim REFUSED to let me speak with a supervisor. A day later, when I still could no longer get in touch with the claims department, I called AA Auto and again, got Jim, because apparently there are only 3 people working at this place. I told Jim that I wanted to file to cancel my warranty, because I was sick of the run a round,. Jim told me that he would send me the paperwork to sign and return:. As I have not received the paperwork yet, my policy should still be active, but unbeknown to me, they are now refusing to pay the open claim that was already approved! I called and asked to speak to Jim's supervisor.. This guy was WORSE! He must be the owner of this scam operation!. He called me a "***", along with a few other names on the phone (while apparently they record all of their calls..) Im sure this call got erased'. He sounded like he was walking around outside.. This man refused to "reinstated" my warranty, which was never officially cancelled by me as per me not yet signing any paperwork:. He told me that I would have to deal with it myself..and That I would only be getting back about half of what I have paid formy warranty. Which is about $1250.00 out of $2500.00. When I have NEVER used my warranty once. And when I finally had to, I got NOTHING but

problems, arguments, and rude customer service, with no help what-so-ever! When I mentioned to the owner that I would be filing with the BBB against them, his exact words were "Ill be waiting here crying, shaking in my boots."

I purchased a extended warranty through aa auto protection and they covered me through Royal administration services. I purchased the protection plan in the middle of january 2012. My coverage date began feb 16th. Recently my car broke down and i used the towing service provided by the warranty company to have my car towed where I bought it from. When I got my contact they had my car listed at 56,100 miles. I called aa auto protection soon as I recaived my contract in the mail to make a correction that my car had only 53,100 miles on it. They assured me that it was no problem and the correction was made. The mechanic that is trying to work on my car called Royal Administration to get authorization to work on my car and they denied him because the mileage didnt match up. Royal Administration had it listed at 56,100 because aa auto did not notify them to correct it. My car is currently at 54,900 miles as reported by the mechanic. I called aa auto protection to notify Royal Administration about the correction on the mileage and they told me they will right away. I called Royal Administration to confirm that the correction was made and they told me that no one has contacted them about my issue. I called back two more times after and both times they said that they have sent and will send it again. Once again I called Royal Administration and they told me they recieved nothing.

This day 3/8/2012 is the first time Ive spoke with both companys about this issue and Im really starting to get ab bad feeling I am getting scamed. If anyone has advice for me or similar experiences with this company please respond to my post. I would like to know if I should take legal action soon as possible.

Contract started in 2009. Attempted to use the service several times! Not able to contact on MANY occassions. Voicemail transfer on several incidents. Needed service on two weekends traveling out of state and they were closed! Other times Waited on the phone for someone to answer--was hour or more-then get a answering machine. I decided since I can't get service I ask to terminate my contract for a refund! Company adviser told me today-07/10/2012 I will have to file for refund and I will not know what I will receive back prorated until after contract termination-refund is filed.

If anyone reads this please don't purchase a Auto warranty from this company! Or any company! But if you have to purchase a contract (Auto Warranty) try DIRECTBUYWARRANTY.COM. AA AUTO PROTECTION IS A SCAM INDIRECTLY AND DIRECTLY!

Not only did they get me once, but twice. I have 2006 325i BMW that I took in for service. I had approximately $3000 worth of work done to it. Did they cover any of it, heck now. They didn't cover oil pan or gasket, nor transmission pan or gasket. When I sold the car and bought a new one, I purchased a plan for my new car.

Big mistake, I tried to cancel within 21 hours, but they gave me the run around. I went back and forth for a few days and still have not received a refund. To ensure that they got no more of my money, I had to cancel my debit card. I am interested in class action law suit.

I, bought the policy in 2007 there Platinum policy and bought a new car in April of 2012. Candled on the old car and took them calling every week for 6 Months to get REFUND. Heard every excuse you can name to get the refund not much but better than nothing. Never will buy again from them. OH, the sales pitch is if "YOU DON'T USE YOU WILL GET ALL YOUR MONEY BACK". Another LIE they use.

AA Auto Protection

Mepco

Unknown, United States, Ohio, Delaware, Pennsylvania.

I had purchased a vehicle back home back in May 2011- The dealer that sold me the car recommended this company, (kickback, maybe...?) The vehicle was from a registered dealer, as well as under 100k miles. The policy I purchased was for a total of2500$. I needed car repairs done twice within that period of my paying on my warranty, OF course! Nothing was covered...ever. After the second time my vehicle needed work, I decided to cancel my policy altogether. I have been waiting for at least 4months for a refund on the amount I put into the policy. I am so lost on where to go and what to do at this point. :(

Aaautowarranty.com autowarrantyresearch.com aaautoprotection.com aa auto warranty aa auto protection and possibly other names are one and the same.

This company wrongfully deceived me by lines like "Just like a new car warranty, only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", and other lines. The truth is, the "product warranty" they sold me was so restricted. and would never pay for anything when breakdown occurs. The reality hit me pretty badly when my engine failed.

I purchased an agreement from them with good faith on 9/16/2009. I was in the market for an extended warranty for my truck as my warranty at the time was expiring on 11/11/2009. I first looked around in the web and quickly discovered that, there are many fraudulent companies like US Fidelis out there. I knew not to contact US Fidelis but I didn't even dream that AAAutowarranty.com was selling me an identical "product warranty" by same provider also sold by US Fidelis. I shopped around, and asked many questions. I first received a quote in an email by AAAutowarranty.com. It wasn't too expensive or the lowest, I decided to give them a call. They offered me 2 plans to choose from. They were both from same provider. I asked about a coverage on turbo charger, as I had a turbo charger failed on me previously. I was told that one of them listed turbo charger in covered components, but the other one didn't list turbo charger. but in event, if turbo charger was damaged due to failed covered component, it will be covered. I asked about hub bearing, and the sales guy couldn't answer. I was connected to his supervisor, The supervisor said front wheel hub bearing would be covered as all internally lubricated components of axles are covered. The sales guy continued to tell me about how great this warranty is. "Just like a new car warranty, Only better", "The best coverage in the industry", "No deductible, 100% of repair costs are covered", "If you never file a claim, you get all your money back", "15 days and 500 mile activation period", "No limit on each claim, up to actual cash value of the vehicle", "Just keep up with the oil change, at any service facility", "5 year 150,000 mile coverage", "If something happens to your car, just take it in to any ASE certified facility. 'we' will take care of the rest" and others. I called around and found other warranty companies that were offering the same coverage from the same provider. I didn't care for them as they were high pressure sales. A lady from one warranty company asked me what I was considering. I told her about this great coverage offered by AA Auto Warranty, 5 year 150,000 mile coverage, activation period 15 days and 500 miles and so on. She said she didn't have anything with 15 days and 500 mile activation period, and it must be some kind of a product warranty that requires additives added to engine, transmission, gear cases and others or it's a scam. I called back AA Auto Warranty and asked if it was a "product warranty" with some kind of additives. He said "No, it's a regular warranty". I felt like I did enough research, and I gave the guy my credit card number. I worked as a business development manager and other positions in sales field. I always presented our products with truth, never withholding negative info on anything. I had no reasons to suspect AA Auto Warranty. I received a small package from the provider in what seems like couple of weeks later. I never really looked at it. I even felt comfortable enough, and canceled my real warranty in early October after I reached 500 mile and 15 day activation period.

In mid October my truck started to smoke badly and lost power on freeway. I was so glad that I renewed my warranty policy with AAAutowarranty. I looked for a service facility that would work with an aftermarket warranty company, and took my truck in. They said it seemed like cracked piston or broken piston ring. They said warranty company should cover such damage, they got an approval for teardown from the provider and took the engine a part. They found a wrist pin circlip came off of a piston and damaged the piston and the cylinder wall badly. This was an instantaneous damage. I got a call from the repair facility a day before Thanksgiving day telling me that provider denied the claim. I was shocked. I failed to understand the reason for denying my claim. The guy from the repair facility emailed me a pdf attachment he received from the provider. It had many misspellings and most of the sentences weren't even complete. I couldn't believe the level of the response I received from this company. I found out soon later that I wasn't the only one experienced the same situation. A fact is, all of the policies or agreements from this provider is so strict. They will always find 10 reasons why they won't pay for the claim, pre-existing, worn components, parts not actually broken to pieces, one of the oil change record was hand written, not covered part or condition, and many other ridiculous reasons why they won't pay for the claim. This provider is a scam, so is AAAutowarranty that sold the coverage to me knowingly and willingly. And they count on you NOT to read or understand the policy, otherwise they wouldn't be selling such ridiculous insurance policy.

I filed a complaint with BBB. The first response from AAAutowarranty was that they don't process or approve any claims. But the real problem is the fraudulent misrepresentation of the selling broker, in this case AAAutowarranty. Maybe it's my fault that I trusted them so much. but I'm not the only one. I didn't even find out until very recently that there were tablets and battery terminal protectors in the box I received from the provider. also, there was a "information" on the warranty with all the exclusions and conditions in the box. I was never asked to read or understand any of this by anyone. I never acknowledged any of this. Troy Nelson from AA Auto Warranty tried to tell me that I acknowledged all the fine prints when I give them the 3 digit security code from back of my credit card. I told him that has nothing to do with the fine prints I didn't even know existed. Marc Kamin from AAAutowarranty agreed with me that all of the calls are monitored and AAAutowarranty knew every details listed in conditions of all the agreements. Marc Kamin told me that this provider only started to behave in such manner within last couple of month as economy took a deeper dive. I disagree. There is no evidence of them changing their coverage information and there are many people complaining about this provider for years. The truth is, nobody sane would purchase such agreement or policy if they knew all the restrictions and conditions of these warranty policies.

AA Auto Warranty also violated insurance regulation and state laws by selling disguised insurance policy. All victims should contact FTC, Attorney General, Department of Insurance and other governmental agencies of each states. AAAutowarranty has locations in NJ, PA, MD and DE. I believe Baltimore office is the most active sales location as they are currently looking for more sales/telemarketing position for that office. All of the victims should contact AG, DOI and others in each of those states.

I PURCHASED THIS PLAN IN 9-22-08 , I HAVE TRIED TO USE IT OVER THE LAST YEAR ON A FEW OCCASIONS AND EVERY TIME I GOT SCREWED, THIS IS A JOKE AND THESE COMPANIES NEED TO BE INVESTIGATED BY EVERY FEDERAL AGENCY IN GOVERNMENT, AND SHUT DOWN.

SO FAR NOTHING BUT HEADACHES FROM THIS COMPANY, I STRONGLY RECOMMEND NOT USING THIS COMPANY.........

I purchased a top of the line warranty through AA Autowarranty which sold the warranty to Consumer Direct Warranty Services. My car broke down on February 18, 2010. My car was towed to Roseville Volkswagon to have it checked. It was determined that the water pump had failed. Roseville sent in a request for a authorization stating the water pump had failed. The response back from the claims department stated it was not covered because it was "worn and leaking" not broken. However this is NOT what was put on the claim. It was BROKEN and in pieces. I also had just had the radiator flushed 2 months ago and I only have 66,000, so it is not our of neglect and not taking care of my car.

The other issue and concern I have is NO ONE will help me. I cannot get AA AutoWarranty to assist me and when I requested to be transferred to another warranty service that was reputable, they refused, stating I bought the policy and I can cancel at any time but the $950.00 I already have paid would be lost, even though they are the company that sold my the policy.

Consumer Direct Warranty Service there is no way in contacting them!!!!!! Everything is done by email or fax and they do not answer the phone when you call. They also say they have 24 hours to authorize a claim. This is very frustrating because no one responds and then you have no car to use. So you cannot even get a rental car until a claim is authorized. Which mine was not!

I began searching for extended warranty insurance for my 2007 model vehicle approximately the first week of April. After researching different extended car insurance companies I felt that the sales person Jonathan Summers with AA Auto seemed to be the most genuine. I explained to him that my concern was that I do a lot of driving and I know that usually once a car reaches 50,000 miles problems begin to repair. Sure enough on May 13th, the suspension to my truck went out and the hatch to the suv wasnt not locking and began opening up. Initially Jonathon recommended Royal Insurance and it would include bumper to bumper warranty including electrical, suspension, and so forth. I took my car to the dealership on May 13th for repair showing my insurance with AA Auto protection and once the company finally contacted my repair consultant they said they would only pay for a quarter of the hatch repair, and would not take care of the suspension which with parts and labor include over 1500 not to mention the 100 deductible that I am supposed to pay. Once I was made aware of how I was incorrectly informed in regards to my insurance I called the sales person for help. Much to my surprise he no longer worked for the company. Some other gentleman answered his line. I was put on hold for 30 minutes then a man in "customer service" by the name of Jim; He was extremely rude and abrasive when I explained to him my situation. It only made me more upset that I said what do I need to do for you guys to make it right. Cancel? Hire an attorney? I then asked to speak to a manager and he lied and said he was the manager and proceeded by hanging up on me. The manager Pete Dupree called later and basically just told me it is what it is and was not willing to assist me with the insurance coverage situation and its my fault that I didnt understand what all falls into the Suspension coverage. I have called Customer Service Called AA Auto suspension and no one will help me. I was completely duped and was promised a good service plan but it has been quite the opposite. I beg, plead that you can help me with this matter

In March 2011 I purchased an extended warranty with AA Auto Protection. In April my car this was tied to was totalled by an irate driver that ran into it and totalled it along with 4 others in a parking lot of a Safeway grocery store. I called this company the next day. I asked for a refund on this policy. I paid them $380.60 I had this one month. I have called them 11 times, spoken to several employees. Sent them the Total loss statement they requested. They received it the end of April. They will not pay me my money due. They told me it would be here this week, they are not going to so I am suing them. I have already spoken to my attorney that is handling my case with the ins co for damages along with the fact he is a good attorney for me. So, if all of you others out there need to sue, go for it. This is awful!!!!

Do not get involved with them! I was looking for a warranty for my car and my friend told me that they heard of them some where. Anyways I decided to give them a try and contacted them. I talked to some guy name Peter H., we talked about all the plans and I decided on one. I gave them my information and stuff BUT I decided that I wanted to look them up and do some more research on them. So I told them to call me back next day to get MY APPROVAL to charge my card. That night I did my research about them and found a lot of bad reviews and how they never honor their claims. So I made up my mind that I didnt want to use them. The next day came and they called me but I was in class and wasnt able to pick up my phone. They left me a voicemail saying that I didn't need to call them back and that they were going to charge my card. I was FURIOUS because I NEVER APPROVED the charge. When I got out of class I called them 5 times and they never picked up, so i decided to leave them a message and told them NOT to charge my card and to call me back. But they never called me back. Couple days later I found out they charged me, so i decided to give them a call and get my refund because i never agreed. I talked to some guy and he said he would refund me and they never did, it was my fault that i didn't get a conformation for the refund on the phone. So then I went through my credit card company hoping that they would help me get my money back, but they sided with them saying that I gave them my information and card. I gave them my information BUT I NEVER GAVE THEM MY APPROVAL TO CHARGE ME. I told them to CALL and get my approval first and they just went on and CHARGE with out my CONSENT. I called AA auto warranty to complain and all they did was mock me and said that i shouldn't have gave them my information. I'm still trying to get my refund back since September. IM JUST REALLY MAD BECAUSE I NEVER GAVE THEM MY APPROVAL. DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE GUYS THEY ARE CROOOOOOOKS

I bought an extended warranty for my Daughters Ford Mustang. I priced shopped for several days before I settled on this one. I figured that an LG Warranty was the best way to go. It was a little pricey, but Salesman told me it covered covered everything but wear and tear items. I even got a great e-mail telling me what a great warranty I bought and if they could do anything just ask. 4 months later my Daughter breaks down many miles from home. She took it to the nearest Ford Dealer who found the internal engine problem and called warranty administrator for approval. The shop foreman did not expect any problems because this was a problem that most warranty companies cover. WRONG!!! It was denied because the exact part was not called out in the contract. Only specific listed parts are covered, as they told me. This module affected 3 of the parts that were covered, and there was a clause in contract saying that warranty administrator could change the terminology at their descretion if they wanted to, but I guess not paying the claim is their way of maximizing their profits!!!!! I had to go ahead and pay the Ford Dealer so my daughter could get back on the road. I feel like I got ripped off, and do not trust these people any more!!! Manager was going to call me back, but did not even have the courtesy to do that!!!!!

Buyer beware, you don't want to invest several thousand for something like this!!!!!

Class Action Suit against AA Auto Protection

After denying my claim, they told me I'd get a refund in NINETY days (3 months???) but they didn't send it to me until 4 1/2 months later and only after a fight with the customer service guy who was extremely rude and hung up on me twice! THEN, I figured out that they STOLE from the refund by more than $300.

I guess I'm not the only one because AA Auto Protection is being sued by the Attorney General of Pennsylvania (see below)! EVERYONE in the same boat with them should contact the that office and let them know what kind of company this is! Crooks need to be put out of business!

Lawsuit against Internet company based in Bucks County

The Bureau of Consumer Protection’s Philadelphia office filed a lawsuit in the Bucks County Court of Common Pleas against an Internet company based in Trevose that allegedly failed to offer refunds to consumers who properly cancelled their automobile warranties.

The lawsuit seeks a wide range of relief against Ivy League International, Ltd. and Guardian Web Company, LLC, which operated under the names AA Auto Protection and AA Auto Warranty. Their officers, Daniel J. Rorapaugh and Brett E. Hitchcock, were also named as defendants in the lawsuit, which seeks restitution for consumers, civil penalties and a permanent injunction to stop the alleged violations of the law.

The Bureau of Consumer Protection alleges the defendants failed to honor their cancellation policy when they failed to offer refunds to eligible consumers. Moreover, the lawsuit alleges the defendants sold warranties administered by Administration Plus USA, which went out of business.

The lawsuit further alleges the defendants also advertised themselves as being Gold Certified Members of the Vehicle Protection Association when in fact they were not.

The lawsuit was filed by Senior Deputy Attorney General Sarah Frasch.

AA Auto Warranty, AA Autoprotection, Consumer Direct Warranty Services Purchased a warranty; when needed to use it to replace a water. Refused to fix it! Redding, California

Which mine was not!

similar experience

Dealing with AA AUTO I would not give up. Also call Omnisure. Pull out your paperwork that shows the was stated it was broken and keep trying. Also if there is more than one thing wrong with your car I would suggest you file it under one claim. Also keep all paperwork of any work done so that it can help you in the future. When it comes to rental cars they do reimbursement but they take their time with it. If you know for sure something you are filing a claim for will be fixed, you can ask the mechanic how many labor hours it will take. I believe for every I hours they will reimburse up to one days of rentals. I hope this helps.

AA Auto Protection Bait and Switch-Beware of AA Auto Protection West Depford, New Jersey

AA Auto Protection Sneaky & Offensive West depford, New Jersey

On may 2nd Saw their ad online and decided to go for it, but then i found out they had a lot of complaints. I immediately told them i dint want the coverage. They stated that it would take 3 to 5 business days to get my refund. It is now May 17 and still no refund. Their Refund department is a joke, I even talked to the so called owner and also no help. Long story short if they take more than ten days to refund you imagine how well it takes for them to cover your vehicle. Not impressed with their services. filling a dispute with my bank in order to finalize this matter.

AA AUTO PROTECTION DENIED A ROUTINE CLAIM, STATING ITEM WAS NOT COVERED???? WEST DEPTFORD, New Jersey

Aa auto protection mepco deceived, swindled, refused to refund, refused to pay , Internet

Mepco/AA Auto Protection I was told there were several "brother/sister" branches that have hit a recent liquidation- located in Utah and Ohio. Fraud, Consumer Fraud, Internet

AA Auto Protection Protection Plus USA, Inc. Extened Warranty No Good Trevose, Pennsylvania

Purchased their 'Peace of Mind' extended warranty for 4 years or 48,000 miles in May of 2011. Had a covered failure in February, 2013 only to learn the the Policy Administrator's insurance company was seized and therefore no one was paying claims. I understand that AA Auto Protection is just a broker, but they're the ones that sold me the policy. Also, as the contract makes clear, the warranty is between me and 'Us', Us being defined as Protection Plus USA, Inc., Dublin, Ohio. So if their insurance company fails, seems like that doesn't let Protection Plus off the hook either. Just beware that when you buy one of these things, the person and company selling you the warranty are not responsible in any way and that you're really dealing with some unknown 'Adminstrator', and apparently their insurance company(s).

Aa auto protection warranty company refuses to pay for parts covered thrugh warranty west deptford, new jersey

I purchased aa auto protection on 05/10/2011 for $2460.00. I contacted the company regarding a repair for my a/c compressor that went bad on 09/2012. This is a covered part through my warranty contract. I called the warranty company several times and finally i was told the the company did not have funds to pay for any warranties. I was also told that this was effective as of april, 2012. In the interim i have to pay for repairs of my vehicle in the amount of over $1400.00, this is the reason that i purchased the warranty, for a peace of mind to avoid unexpected problems with my vehicle. Now i am getting the run around from the company. I plan on taking legal action regarding this issue. I strongly advise everyone to avoid using this company for anything! can someone help me or have had similar issues.

AA AUTO PROTECTION be wear of aa auto protection!!! they will rip you off wilmington Delaware

I purchased the supreme auto warranty from this company on 5/14/13 and when i bought it I made sure I asked all the question about the warranty, policy, what they cover and what they dont cover. The person that sold me the policy told me that with the supreme i was fully covered the only thing is that i had to wait 30 day and i had to put 1000 miles on my car before the policy would come into affect. On 6/27/13 and 1700 miles later I started it hear a slight noise coming from the rear of my car and I immediately took it to my mechanic to have it looked at.

When I got to my mechanic I explained to him what i heard coming from the rear and I also told him I had an extended warranty that would cover the damage. my mechanic immediately told me that most likely they were going to deny my claim and that they will find 100 reasons to deny me.

That afternoon the shop started to look into the problem and found that a rear bearing had spun and gone bad (oil, gasket we're all fine) He calls up aa auto to get authorization for the repair and just like he told me they denied him. He explained to them the problem and told them that bearings could go bad at anytime aa auto told him that bearing dont go bad from one day to another and that the truck has alot of miles and thats why it went bad. I also called and the person told me the samething that they wont cover it because in their oppinion bearing dont go bad and said it was an existing problem ( witch it was'nt) At that point I told them I was going to contact my layer and he told me do what you have to and hung up the phone on me..

How can someone that sits behind a desk reading a script from a computer screen and has no mechanical expeirence tell my mechanic with over 20 years in the field that bearing dont go bad?

Guys please beware of aa auto protection. They will look for any reason not to pay and you wont get your money back..

at this point I have filed a claim with BBB and Ill also be filing a lawsuit against them to get my money back and i want to see them prove it in court that a bearing dosnt go bad from one day to another!!!

On August 30, 2009 I purchased a auto warranty from AA Autowarranty. This warranty was told to me by Mat At AA Autowarranty to cover my Engine Transmission, and Differential. He informed me that my warranty was going to be in effect from the first day I purchased the vehicle warranty. On Sept 30 I called the warranty company to report my vehicle had broken down They informed me to call a wrecker service and pay the towing this made me mad because it was my understanding that I had towing included in my warranty. I had the vehicle towed to Bill Butler Chrysler, Dodge. It took me about two weeks going back and forth with the claims company and the warranty company to get them to approve for them to start the claim on my vehicle so the dealer could start repairing my vehicle. On Oct. 8 they sent a diagnosis request for to the dealer to have them tare down my transmission and find out what the problem was.

On the 14 of October they informed me they was going to send a adjuster out to take a look at the van. On the 15 I found out from the dealer they was not going to pay to have my vehicle repair. They informed me that the warranty company said that they was not going to fix it because of the problem they claimed was pre-existing from years of wear and tear of normal driving over the life of the vehicle. This was really stupid to me seem they knew upfront what the mileage was on my vehicle before we had a agreement for the warranty. They also informed me they would not pay for my vehicles tow, vehicle diagnostics, rental, or any thing the repair company had done. I am currently out of pocket about $300.00 from the rental and tow. and the repair company is going to charge around $800.00 for the work they have done so far. I hope someone can help me with this problem or put this in the hands of some one who can. This is a rip off scheme that a lot of warranty companies are using to steal peoples money. I am going to do what ever I can to take legal actions against this company.

  • Sep 3, 2015

AA auto protection awaiting refund for more than 90 days

I bought a used car at the beginning of April 2014 and since the car was used thought it would be a great idea to buy

extended warranty due to the fact the car was used. In Aug 2014 my car started leaking oil and I took it to the mechanic

now that my warranty was going to cover what ever the problem is because after all that's what I'm paying them for. The

mechanic inspects my car and finds that my head gasket may be cracked, well the mechanic calls my insurance and they

tell the mechanic my head gasket is not a covered component I was livid I cancelled my policy right away and was told that

it would take 90 days to refund my money that was in at the beginning of September we are now into the second week of

December and I'm still waiting for my refund. I need a lawyer because this is outrageous!

AA Auto Protection Auto Protection Con Artists and Wire Fraud Wilmington Delaware

I believe that I am a latest victim of AAAutoProtection/AA Auto Protection/AAAutoWarranty/AA Auto Warranty and Royal Administration Services, Inc. Shame on me for not finding this website before I was persuaded by a sweet-talking salesman from AAAutoProtection to buy what turned out to be an illusionary extended car warranty policy (which they now label as service contracts for not so obvious reasons).

I dont want to bore folks with lengthy details. Suffice is to say that I believe my valid repair claim was denied by Royal Administration wrongfully, arbitrarily, and against the manifest weight of evidence. My unfortunate encounter with AAAutoProtection and Royal Administration confirmed much of what other folks had previously complained of on this forum. For example, it appears to be true that overbroad and ambiguous terms in the contract give extended warranty companies virtually unfettered discretion to deny any claim on their whim leaving you with very little or no recourse. I guess they need to make their fortunes somehow. In my case, however, I experienced few very interesting twists.

It was rude awakening. I decided to immediately cancel my contract with them, demanded refund, which I waited some 25 days to receive (a nice interest-free loan for AAAutoProtection !!). But when my refund check finally came in the mail (lucky me), I discovered they RIPPED ME OFF AGAIN.

You see, our contract expressly states that upon cancellation the only charges could be imposed on me are for a prorated amount of time the policy was in effect and a $35 cancellation fee. Nothing else. And I've never agreed to anything outside of the contract. I therefore estimated that AAAutoProtection would charge me about $185 and expected the rest of my money (some $2,045) to be refunded. But despite my numerous inquiries about the amount of refund, both AAAutoProtection and Royal Administration kept me in the dark until the end, conveniently pointing fingers on each other.

And when my refund check from AAAutoProtection finally arrived, no statement of how they had calculated my refund was included. But along came the letter stating: Cashing Check Signifies that You Accept the Amount to be Full and Final Refund. Wow, what a sleazy trick, dont you agree? After demanding an explanation, I learned that AAAutoProtection had charged me not only the prorated amount but also nailed me with an additional fee of $150 instead of $35 out of the blue and contrary to our contract.

And so I asked AAAutoProtection who or what in the blue hell gave it any right to help itself with extra $115 out of my refund.

Now hear this !! In nutshell, the response from Marc Kamin, an employee of AAAutoProtection, (if that was his even real name) came in as follows: WE COULD DO WHATEVER WE WANT. GO AHEAD AND GET A LAWYER OR COMPLAIN TO ATTORNEY GENERAL, BBB, etc. WE DON'T GIVE A CRAP.
