I purchased my wife's engagement ring on 10/30/2014, Diamond Bond I have been taking the wing to the store every 6 months. the diamond looks like it cracked I took it to the store on 06/11/1017 the store clerk dwane, told me after inspecting it and other reps there too, said it will be replaced by the way the saw it on the telescope, also told me the process on how it should be inspected by the manager the store manager "Dan" called me on Monday told me it was cracked and it needed to be sent to the home store and it was going to be back within 6-8 weeks, after waiting 2 weeks on 6/30 I received a call from Dwayne said the ring came back cleaned but the diamond wasn't replaced. I do not want the old cracked dimond and their story on how thats somehow a growth from the stone. I want corporate to get involved and I will also post and get the news and all social media involved .

Sales personal will lie when closing a sale. To wit the sales person will indciate that ring sizing is included in sale. But whn the ring recipeint returns to stor for sizing they want hundreds of dollars and indciates one is "not very bright thinking there would nolt tbe an extra charge." I have complained to corporate and they refuse to even hear my complaint. GOD d**n THEM! For thier fraudulent sales practice of indciatingring sizing was included in sale only it wasn't and the "Sons of Bushes" ridicule teh buyer if one protests. No refund offerd... instead they try to sell a warrnty program that costs over $200 and then, as was quaoted, they would siz e the ring. Scum bag comapny.

I was happy with my first initial visit with Zales. The customer service rep. was nice and knowledgeable. But since I have had issues with my ring I have not received that same level of customer service. On June 27, 22016 I noticed a diamond was missing. I called Zale to see if I could bring it by since I had a warranty. I told them I could bring it by now that my warranty information was at home but I had the information scanned so I could print it out. The young woman on the phone stated they needed the original documentation so I had to wait until after I got off work. I expressed to her I wanted my ring sent out as soon as possible because I needed it back for a number of special occasions. She informed me they ship out every morning so bringing it after work would not be a problem.

I took the ring in after work and explained to the young lady my situation regarding needing my ring back sooner than later. She informed me that she could put a rush on my ring so I would have it back in a couple of weeks. I question why a ring I had been wearing for less than two months was missing a diamond is informed me it happens all the time that you can be taking a sweater off and one will pop out. When she printed out the receipt I asked her about the August 1, 2016 date as the return date and she stated the computer automatically prints out a date about six weeks from now but it never takes that long. She stated they have to put a far ahead date on the receipt to protect themselves in case something goes wrong. She stated that even if she hadn’t put a rush on it I would have my ring back way ahead of my engagement party. I left the store not happy to lose my ring but at least I would have it back way before my engagement party.

On June 30, 2016 I emailed Zales because I went to check on my ring and it was still showing that it had not been shipped. I was upset by this because the h women on the phone informed me that it would ship out first thing in the morning. When someone from Zales contacted me back I was informed that they only ship out on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays and it wasn’t showing ship because the computer system had not updated. This means the young lady on the phone did not give me the correct information.

After two weeks had past I reached out to Zales and asked about my ring. I was informed that that they had until August 1, 2016 to return my ring. I told the young lady who answered the phone that information was not correct that they had put a rush on my ring and I was supposed to have it in a couple of weeks. She informed me that my ring went to Texas which means there was no rush, rush orders are sent in town and take about two weeks. I told the young lady who answered the phone that I wanted to speak to a manager that wasn’t even close to what I was told and she said she was the assistant and the manager wasn’t in. I informed her of my engagement party and how I was told I would have it back way before then and she informed me not to worry about it they would try to find a replacement ring in case mine did not come back in time.

Throughout this time I reached out to customer service who took five days to respond just to ask my repair number then never responded again. I started reaching out to corporate and social media the week of July 18, 2016 since the store never returned my calls. Someone emailed back from customer service stating they would have the store contact me. On Monday July 25, 2016 the Manager at Zales Easton in Columbus, Ohio called me. He explained that the girl who took my ring was new and did not tag it as a rushed order. That he had been on the phone with repairs and was going to get my ring overnighted so I could have it Friday at the latest. He stated he would be in contact with me and apologized for the misinformation. I accepted his apology and waited the week to get my ring on Friday. I check the website every day and it still stated in repair. On Friday around 4:30pm I called the store to check on my ring. I was told it wasn’t in, I informed them it was overnighted and might be in a different spot. She told me there was no ring. I asked to speak to the manager and was told he doesn’t work Fridays. This means he had no intention on following up with me and wasn’t going to inform me I wasn’t going to have my ring for my party. I asked for the number to corporate and the young lady stated “it shows you already complained to corporate and your ring isn’t due back until Monday”. As of today 8/2/2016 I still have no ring and the Manager at Easton Columbus still has not contacted me.
