World Reserve Monetary Exchange Reviews

Ordered the 40 coin presidential coin set from this company when it first came out. Paid for it in monthly installments spread out over 8 months or so. Was charged a highly inflated delivery and processing charge with each payment which raised the first red flag. Upon completion of all payments we were sent a rather cheap "coin" frame. It is poorly made but it looks pretty nice, even after 10 years. Over the years more red flags popped up. Coins arrived later than expected shipping date on several occasions, we moved and updated our address with them yet they still sent our coins via unsecured mail to our old address for over a year.

Several times we had to actually have new shipments sent out at an additional expense to us even though they or the post office was at fault. Early on each coin cane with a heavy card stock "info or bio" card, then we received a letter stating if we wanted the remainder of the cards sent we would need to pay an additional fee. Don't remember how much but I do remember thinking the price was way to high. DECEMBER 2016. Our final shipment of coins arrives. Minus #39. Jimmy Carter is still alive and they stare he must be dead for 2 years before a coin can be minted.

We are told that no coin will be made. We are given a piece of paper, tucked into other papers. The paper we almost overlooked was offering us a credit to be used between Feb 1, 2017 and June 1, 2017. Logged into their site but I am unable to look at what they are offering until Feb 1st. We can't even see what they are giving as a credit. The set we've proudly displayed as we filled now has a glaring empty spot and our pride in the set is gone. We feel that we were cheated from day one. We paid a couple hundred dollars for a puzzle with one piece missing despite never being told that could happen. Not a trust worthy or ethical business in my eyes.

I got ahold of them and they would not honer the ad. This was back in 2007. I have tried to resolve it a few times in the past years, but to no avail. In fact the person I spoke with was not real rude, but very off putting to me. Would not buy anything from them. Misleading ads.

Bought the 2007 Presidential coin set from an ad in the paper and was mislead into believing that it was a COMPLETE set. After recieving it they only had 5 coins in it and was told I had to buy the rest. I got ahold of them and they would not honer the ad. This was back in 2007. I have tried to resolve it a few times in the past years, but to no avail. In fact the person I spoke with was not real rude, but very off putting to me. Would not buy anything from them. 1905, we purchased a collection of one,two and five dollar uncirculated bills from world reserve monetary exchange, series 1963. the currency report stated historic #2 red seal bills. I had them appraised now in October,2116 and been told they are worthless. they are face value.

I ordered presidential coin set from world monetary exchange and paid in full. When coin set was 50% complete, they demanded more money due to unforeseen costs. They have not set sets and ignore my emails. Phone calls are on hold for hours. This is a fraudulent company and a scam. Order from US Mint! This company needs to be shut down.
