I 1st contacted William Hobson on the recommendation of a Hazleton lawyer, because he supposedly had experience with a DUI law involving nurses. I retained him August 2015 for a fee of $2000. He guided me through the process, even though I did the footwork. I got through the ARD program and all went well. He assured me numerous times that he was in touch with the nursing board, regarding restrictions placed on my nursing practice license. These restrictions caused me to lose my job, a career I had since 1990. He told me that he would appeal to the state nursing board, to remove these restrictions, for an additional $750.
I paid him, a hardship since I had no income. This was in April 2016. I waited for copies of the appeal, which I never received even after he'd promised them to me. He told me he made calls to specific people about the restrictions. When I checked, none of these people talked to him. When confronted with all this, via email or phone, he never got back. I tried filing a complaint, and the people I filed this complaint with, did nothing. He is a shy sterling steer clear of this person. I should have looked up his history first. It seems he was disbarred several years ago, for theft, but somehow was allowed back in the practice. He is a thief, he took my money and did nothing.

I reduced my fee to assist this nurse who had a DUI and prior history of drug abuse. I filed all appeals with the Nursing Board and her application to the confidential PANAP program. Due to her Drug Abuse history the Board recommended that she could work I health CARE BUT NOT DISPENSE DRUGS for a period of six months, I also participated in an appeal to the her employer a State Owned Facility.
