The officer involved (who no one was able to give me the name of, at the scene or after) knowingly made a false report - complete fabrication and story telling. My friend can't sue the department until his case is closed, which wont be until after he successfully completes probation. It's convenient that a wrongful arrest suit has a statue of limitations of 1 year. Sick stuff! I no longer have any confidence in our system whats so ever! The U.S. criminal justice system lacks a shred of justice.
