Watch Repairs USA Reviews

I contracted with Watch Repairs USA back in August 2018 to completely restore my wristwatch and replace the watchband with a new stainless steel watch band. After I sent them my watch, they sent me an e-mail saying they would sent me an estimate once they confirmed they could get parst since the watch is nearly 50 years old.

In a few days, a got a detailed estimate with an estimated repair time of 3-5 months. I agreed and they charged me credit card. It has now been 5 months. I've tried to contact them by e-mail (both via a form on their web site and by using the e-mail address for CustormerCare used with the repair estimate they sent me).

I also tried to contact their Customer Care using the phone number on their web site. The first time I got a recording to leave a message. I did so and asked for a status report and a update on when they would send me my reconditioned and working watch.

They did not respond to the e-mails or phone message. I tried tried the phone number again and got a message that the phone number was no longer in use.

I had a crack on the glass of my watch, and i was using my watch with the crack for almost a month, and i was funstioning with no issues at all, the only thing it needs, is replacing the crystal. So I sent it to them to replace the crystal.

They notified me that, they could not fix it and need to sent it to the dealer, and i have to pay 29.99 assessment fee. I paid it.

Then they sent me a bill of 338.19 . I called them to ask what this bill for, they said the watch is not running and needed to be fixed. I explained to them that, it was running before i sent it to them, and they should know that. Their respond , they did not check it , and they sent it directly to the dealer , and they can not confimrm if it was fucntioning or not.

Now it ends up for me paying 29.99 for someone to break my wacth comletely. instead of needing the crystal to be replaced. NOW i need to replace my watch , and i paid money for that. ???!!!!

IF YOU VALUE YOUR WATCH, AND DO NOT WANT TO THROUGH YOUR MONEY IN THE GARBAGE, NEVER SENT YOUR WATCH TO THIS PEOPLE.

Watch Repair USA is a scam. Sent a GP watch worth over $8500 for repairs as it wasn't running. Took 6 weeks to get an estimate for the repair. GP's are not easy to get parts for and usually take longer to fix so I disccussed this with Aran when I called to confirm the repair order $1350. He said they would send it to the factory and have them repair it (it is Swiss made). I paid on Feb 6th the full amount. No contact for several months. Finally in May I contacted them for an update and they said two more weeks. Then another month goes by and I demand an update from the factory directly. They told me I would have it in another week or so. When I finally get the watch in late June it rattles (never did that before). I took it to my local expert watch repair guy (certified). He takes the watch apart and finds out that they didn't put one of the jewels back in, the inside was dirty and the balance wheel was bent. it was obvious that it had been thrown together without all the parts.

When I contacted Aran he said to send it back and they would send it back to get it fixed. He also told me they didn't send it to the factory but to a repair shop on the East Coast. I told him I had no confindence in their repair person. He only offered to have it repaired again. I decided to go ahead and have my guy fix it as I didn't want to wait another 6 months and get it back and still not be sure it was repaired properly. So beware if you send a good watch as I they sub out all the repair work and don't have any quality control other than to have you send back the watch again.
