Wargoritas Reviews

  • Mar 3, 2018

I sold $120.00 worth of Macy's Gift Cards on Ebay for 107.00 to Mary E. Wargo of Wargoritas. I purchased a mailing label for it on Ebay that didn’t print. When I went to the shipping window to reprint, the option to reprint was greyed out. I even sent a complaint that there was no reprint button but never got a reply. The only options were to cancel the label and request a refund for my original label which is what I thought I had done.

Apparently, without my knowledge, the entire transaction was canceled and a refund was issued to the buyer for the entire transaction and not to me for the voided mailing label. Not realizing this had happened, I purchased a new label and sent the item to the person who purchased it.

"4 DAYS" after Mary E Wargo of Wargoritas received the gift cards (one for 20.00 and one for 100.00), I noticed that Paypal had taken the money out of my bank account and issued a refund to her.

With the refund still pending in Paypal, neither Paypal or Ebay would stop the refund or do a thing about it after I told them it was a mistake. Basically I was told, too bad you hit the wrong button, there's nothing we can do even though she received the item. They told me to try contacting Mary E Wargo of Wargoritas to see if she would do the right thing and of course she didn't or I wouldn't be writing this.

Her reply to my request 4 days after delivery of the cards was (and only after being contacted by Ebay) was "Sorry, I just got back. Can you tell me the card number you sent. I got one card for $20.00 but no $100.00. Should have been $120.00 on one I thought". I immediately knew she was going to take advantage of the situation because if she got one card, she got both cards. I personally put both cards in an double thick manilla envelope that I totally wrapped in shipping tape, so I knew she was lying. If she got one card, she got both cards. After appealing to her sense of right and wrong and threatening to tell this story online, she coughed up 20.00 for the one card, thinking it would be the only way she could explain away the proof of a delivery of the item in question. She can continue to lie and say she didn't get the two cards but the proof is below and you can make up your own mind. I have sold many of these gift cards on Ebay and I have a 100% satisfaction rating, never ever have I tried to rip someone off like she just did. All the proof is below, you decide if she ripped me off.
