Something went wrong when ordering online. No order was placed, but I was charged twice. The charge initially was a PayPal pending charge on 8-24-23. But on 8-26-23 the charge was deducted from my bank account. The charge was no longer 'pending.' It was actually deducted from my bank account.
PayPal explained to me that vitacost must be the one to initiate and cancellation or refund. But vitacost will not do this. In the meantime, my money is not available to me.
Today vitacost informed me that they have no record of the charge, and that I must wait 3-5 business days for someone from their credit department to contact me.
vitacost.com made a mistake. Money has been taken from my account. vitacost refuses to resolve this issue.
I did a order on april 27 (order 307369797) and didn't receive it. I couldn'tt track on the website and didn't receive any information. Because I live in other country (Brazil) and we have a lot of customs problems, I didn't get suspicious with a long delay in the first months. Now the company told me that the item was returned and that they didn't refund me because I didn't request that on a 90 days period. In other words: they sent the item, received it returned (without my consent), didn't alert me about that and are not agreeing to give me a refund. I don't know if that is even legal in US, but I don't recommend anyone do business with this company, specially for internationall orders.
