VIP-RESORTS INC. Reviews

During purchase (sales call) I was lead to belive:

1. The vacation can be taken at any of the resorts listed on your website. However the sales folks have made it clear that, only out of state resorts are "free" - the in state ones dont have the option of taking a tour so, I will have to pay full price.

3. I was also lead to belive that as long as I call in advance, the booking is guranteed. This turned out to be untrue. Also the booking request has been denied at times because "calendar" is unavailable.

2. The taxes are ridiculous. Having enquired about the cancun resort - the taxes and resort fee (that I have to pay addtionally) are amounting to similar amount as daily rate advertised on the hotel website. In essence it seems I end up paying the full price for the hotel, as "taxes". (of course in addition to the amount I already paid for the vaccation package). How do you justify the taxes of $99 per person per night ? Generally the taxes are 10 - 12 % not 100%. This seems like a scam.

VIP Resorts sold a vacation package to us but has never been able to honor their agreement and provide a vacation(s) that we purchased. We believe VIP Resorts deliberately mislead us when providing information regarding their vacation packages. When we made a reservation, 3 times, we were told that the property we were interested in, though listed on the VIP website, was no longer an option. So we agreed, all 3 times to a different resort and even once to an up sale. All 3 times the sales rep informed us we would receive a confirmation email in 5-7 business days. We NEVER received a confirmation. This back and forth of vacation scheduling has gone on long enough… 1 and half years as a matter of fact. They are clearly waiting for us to “forget” about the purchase and for us to quietly go away. VIP has not and obviously will not honor their contract therefore, the saga continues as we will never go away until we get our FULL refund of $643.00. We have made over 30 phones calls speaking to Alice, Emily, Josh Flagg, Gustavo Jaramillo, Lucas Haberek, and Jordan (manager). Jordan told me Friday, July 21st 2017 that a Financial Manager, Jacob White would be calling me. Again, no returned phone call, when I called today Monday, July 24th, 2017 I was told none of the financial managers are in today. This company is a scam!!! Return our stolen $643.00 immediately. They also have an F Better Business Bureau rating.

We paid $438 for two (2) all-inclusive five night/6 day vacation packages in Puerto Vallarta and the Bahamas and after making our airline reservations we're told that the accomodations we had been promised in Puerto Vallarta (New Amber Hotel) were not available. This outfit (VIP-Resorts) is a scam.

Sold under false pretense

I was contacted yesterday by this company, who repeatedly mentioned my RCI condo. They implied they were contacting me because they were tied to RCI; and that the deal was because of my condo ownership. My worries started when I got an agreement, which should not have been necessary. I got online and started reading, I had immediate concerns. I contacted RCI and Hilton and both said they we not tied to this company. I called my Credit card and froze the account. I then called VIP Resorts who had me write a letter and told me their finance group does not arrive to 1pm, that I had to write a letter explaining what was specifically said to me word for word.

VIP Resorts (AKA Click Deals Social Media Corp.) contacted me on Oct. 15th 2015 offering me a 5 day 6 night hotel stay package for my family to several places in Mexico, Caribbean, and more. The price of the package was $350, the sales people Jeremy Bender and Herbert Pittman pitched me on a hotel called the Melia Caribe Tropical. After reviewing the offer I accepted the package and was transferred to billing to pay the $350. When the billing department for payment the billing department individual informed me there was a $300 “resort fee” associated with the Melia hotel. I was pretty upset with this and told them to transfer me back to the sales people.

The sales people bumped up my package to include 2 stays for the same price, I accepted and went on with the purchase. A few weeks later my wife and I locked down a time in January to travel so I contacted VIP-Resorts via their website the way we were informed to. Several days passed and no contact from them, so I tried again via their website (VIP-Resorts.com) and again several days passed and no contact. Finally after over a week I contacted them by phone to book the travel (11/06/15), the employee on the phone informed me the hotel I had been sold on was NOT eligible for a 5 day 6 night hotel stay…

I was told my only option was the Grand Sirenis in Punta Cana. I figured it couldn’t be that bad and accepted it, I contacted my wife to update her and have her book tickets through Delta now that I had confirmed the hotel stay. Later that night when I went home we looked at the travel reviews for the Grand Sirenis… they were TERRIBLE! People in the few weeks prior had reported bed bugs, multiple cases of food poising, and overall poor conditions of the hotel. I contacted VIP Resorts the next day and told them I was not happy and needed this fixed. I explained to them what I was initially sold on by their employees and that I expected them to honor this deal.

The women placed me on hold several times and finally came back confirming that they would honor my deal and to expect an email confirmation from them. Today 11/30/15 several weeks later I contacted them at 3:50pm CST to find out where my confirmation number was and to get a refund unless I could get it today. I was told the supervisor was in a meeting and would have to call me back in a few minutes. An hour and a half later I called again, told them my story AGAIN and was told the Melia was now sold out! I stated I wanted a refund and was told they would give me a refund but would need to keep $50 for a transaction fee.
