Vinexpose.com review

I had a similar experience. It took me a few weeks before I realized it was a scam.

I placed an AD on Craigslist to sell a Harley Davidson and received the following emails:

Then nothing for about 10 days, then I sent the email below with the following response:

Me: Hello,

I never heard back from you. Are you still interested in seeing my Harley? Please let me know when you are available and we can set something up ok?

Thanks,

Them: Yes I am. I just need you to send me the report first so I can be assure everything is fine with your bike.

Placed a Craig's list ad to sell HD Sporster. After a couple emails from "Deborahb Cohen" she wanted to see the bike tomorrow if I would run a VIN report using usvinexpose.com. She didn't want to run it in case she didn't want to buy the bike but I would then have the report for the next buyer.

Researched the website and it's only been registerd for 10 days. Saw another rip off report filed with the same scenario but individual's name was "Franklin Maggard" doing the same scam.

Hope this helps others from being ripped off.

Placed and ad for a motorcycle and got a response asking if we could provide a vin report. Asked us to get it for usvinexpose.com. They did not want to pay up front just in case the report came back bad. We checked the website and found it had only been open for 10 days. Do not get a report from this website, they don't want to purchase from you they just want to take your money.

Here is one of several emails I received after advertising my car for sale on Craigs List:

Thanks for your honesty. I've had some really horrible experience with buying used vehicles, and I really wouldn’t like to make same mistakes as in the past. So, I'd like and appreciate it if you can get vincheck and that you get it from vinexposes.com because I'd like to refund you for it if we make a deal, and they're much cheaper than carfax, and you know how it is, every dollar you save counts. I’m not getting it myself because if it's bad then I just throw my money away, but you can still use it however it turns out. If everything is okay with car report I would like to arrange exact time of our appointment.

This guy supposedly named Richard Long with poor english replied back to a vehicle we were selling on craigslist, saying he wants me to get a car history report on the vehicle for him first from a website called carvinexpose because thats the only one he trusts...He said it has to be that site and for us to pay for the report from them, and then he will pay us back for the report after he sees the clean vehicle history report from them and comes to purchase the vehicle... I looked up carvinexpose everywhere and googled it and it's nowhere to be found and obviously this lowlife Richard Long is just one of many lowlife scammers...I found another report on this site against this guy Richard Long with the exact same description of what happened
