Victor Gonzalez Painting Reviews

  • Oct 24, 2018

Victor Gonzalez was hired to paint the entire interior of a 1400 sq ft townhouse in Aliso Viejo, CA.. He came in with his helper a took him about a week of going back n forth but finally completed. Immediately saw issues of paint drips on carpet and stair ballisters, floors, doors, mirroors etc. We contacted him and he told us that some of the items he did not do. Not sure how he did not do them when he clearly painted the entire house. Then about 3 weeks later the paint is literally peeling off the walls. LITERALLY!!! I call Victor and after trying to call and text numerous times, he finally responds. He comes by and looks at all the areas and is in a look of disbelief. Scratching his head and wondering, hmm how could this be.. well I have an idea.. I asked him prior to painting are you going to primne the walls. Said there is no need to, we use a special paint and use 2 coats. Said the infamous words of a scammer "trust me".. Ha!!

Well we see hoew this turned out. Literally the entire paint is peeling all over. You can barely rub against it and it will peel and scratch right off. When he finally quit scratching his head, he said i will take a paint sample to paint store to see why its not adhering to walls. Never gets back to me after he leaves. I text him back numerous times in which he finally responds.. His exact words were:

I did reply to you with an answer about the paint(complete and total LIE!), i explained to you that I found wax on the walls where the paint is flaking. However I took a sample chip to the store and the sales person agree with me (wax was found on the paint sample), I done my job right bby sanding and primer the walls before I aopplied the finish coat..

Now this is whats funny. Number one he did NOT sand the walls. Dear god he would have been here 3 weeks. These walls are huge.. And nor did he prime the walls either. Complete and utter LIES!!! AND if he did do both those things for the sake of argument, explain to me howe the F is there wax on there???

I mean this is a complete bonehead of a person here.. Cant follow his LIES and they are so uneducated it's comical if it wasn't so frustratingly sad..
