We received a call inviting us to a meeting as a time-share owner, intimating that they were representing our timeshare company. We don't know how they got our Florida number, since we are s****.>

Within five minutes they had a response that said there was no signature on record. (If it smells phony, you better believe the odor.) However, they said that we could salvage our options if we would pay them about $6,800 for one option or about $10,000 for another option. There were no written details of the offers - only the rep's scribbling and some sheets with a few bullets which remained in the rep's possession. Of we course, we had to respond immediately and pay immediately. When we stated that the original offer would have allowed us time to review the paperwork and terms and conditions and we should be extended at least two weeks to review it and not be pressured into answering immediately. The rep then stated that we really had till midnight to respond (big deal - it was already 6:00 PM). And, of course, no paperwork was offered. We declined the offers. If it sounds like a scam, it probably is a scam!

Brian J Scroggs and his wife Penny Bruner Scroggs travel around the country stealing from elderly, gay, trans, and african american people. It all starts with a phone call promising you a free ipad tablet if you'll simply attend a nice dinner at the local Hilton. As soon as you agree they switch the dinner from the Hilton to the Best Western. The premise of the dinner is that they represent RCI the timeshare exchange company, and are in town to advise you of changes to your timeshare. Once you get to the "dinner" (day old ham sandwiches and sweet KKK tea) they reveal that for a small fee they can get you out of your timeshare which they claim is a fraud. My timeshare at Holiday Inn was not a ripoff but i was unable to use it so i accepted their "help".

First off the ipad tablet never materialized ,that was lie number one, second they do not represent RCI nor Holiday Inn as Brian Scroggs and Penny Scroggs both stated, third Penny Scroggs is not trans she is a cis gender female from birth I found her facebook page, her manish looks are just that shes ugly. Forth Brian Scroggs is not a Hollywood movie director he is a former used car salesman (go figure). And last but certainly not least they did absolutly nothing to get me out of My timeshare at Holiday Inn. Nor the mortgage on it.

They Charged me $6,415.00 yes six thousand four hundred fifteen dollars to get me out of my timeshare and the did nothing of the sort. In addition they signed me up for the RCI Credit Card and charged $2,500.00 on it without my knowledge. They told me to stop paying the mortgage to Holiday Inn and they would take it from there. All I have to show for my six thousand four hundred dollars is ruined credit.

If you are considering doing business with these people just dont. Look at what the better business bureau has to say about them.

Its been a year (this happened in 2016) and still nothing , except bad credit , thanks Mr and Mrs Scroggs for ruining a poor black womans life.

Review of Vacation Consulting Group

It was March of 2018 when I signed the contract with VCS, and paid about $5200 to them to 'get me out of my timeshare'.

Since I had a lot of unused points I asked them to hold their processing until Jan 1, 2018. No problem.

Around November 2018 I contacted VCS and authorized them to proceed on my contract. I was given a Portal connection about that

time., and since have used it to provide various info, including something called an 'estopple'

Now as end of 2019 approaches I have been trying to get in touch with VCS and have been unsuccessful so far.

And yesterday I received a 'bill' of over $1000 from my time share resort for maintenance, which has increased about 10% fro last time.

And so it goes.

On August 10, 2017, I attended a presentation with VCS, LLC regarding timeshare laws. I was told that I was eliglble to legally get out of my timeshare contract because of my circumstances. They indicated that if the contract was not terminated within 12 months, they would give me a refund.

They were working with a Clapp Business Law, LLC which I noticed is in the same building, but Suite F104. The consultant Joy Hagstrom was very convincing that I had nothing to lose since I would be refunded if they were not successful. She did not give me my signed contract on the date of signature because supposedly the printer was not working.

I told her I could pick it up the next day. She suggested that they email it to me I did not get the contract in time for review to meet the 3-day decision date. I asked if they would extend the date but they would not. Eventually, no one returned my calls. She was no longer working there.

Clapp Business Law did not respond to my last email of 10/22/18 in their portal. I am now stuck with a timeshare and a vacation membership in which I don't need both. I am now convinced that all of these timeshare exit programs are just scams.

Wish we knew these things before we went to their meeting!

Went to their meeting, hoped on their sales pitch to get out of our 7 timeshares. We had bought them when we were still working. We are retired for a few years now, and cannot afford the maintenance & tax fees. We are only living on our SS checks. They have promised to use their Transfer Group for 5 of the timeshares. The 2 with mortgages were assigned to the Clapp Business Law. Both of their companies did nothing to help us get out of the timeshares. We paid over $ 16,000 that night. We were scammed and are asking for ourl money to be refunded, and having to pay attorney fees to sue all of them. If they could have done what they promised, it would be a great legit business. But because they have done nothing, we as the consumer have to have this stress. I am now suffering with heart conditions that this stress has added to. Wish there was a real honest company that can actually do what they say they will do and get people out of their timeshares. What a shame, this company is wasting their opportunity to have a good honest business and not a business scamming people out of their money. Wish we knew ahead of time we could have saved a ton of money and heart aches with heart causing stress. Now we have the lawsuit to work on.
