I bid on what was advertised to be "Fine Jewelry" from this auction site Federal Government Liquidators. They were adamant about receiving my payment. After waiting almost 3 weeks for the items to arrive, they arrive looking nothing like the advertised picture. They also sent over a fake appraisal from an appraisal company of no value. I took the pieces to a couple of jewelers and they told me I had been scammed. I have been trying to reach someone at this business and both of the telephone numbers listed are disconnected. No one has returned any of my emails. I am now disputing this as fraud and will get my attourney involved if need be. This company says they are with the BBB and I cannot locate them anywhere with the BBB. Please beware!

Lawsuit

I am a Los Angeles attorney. I have filed a lawsuit against Mr. Molayem and his company (Siddiqui v. Molayem et al LASC) for fraudulently representing that jewelry is being sold in a United States Federal Government auction, and many other misrepresentations regarding the source and quality of the jewelry. If you have been similarly ripped off, let me know.

This is embarassasing and I am regretting even wrtitting this but hopefully it will help others from making the absolute worst finacial decision I have ever made. I am still dumb founded to this day. I am not sure who I am more furious with, myself or GEORGE MOLAYEM. I was on a auction sight called multi auction services which is more than unethical and a scam.

Long story short due to my angry level re living this....I bid on various items the US Jewlery Liquidation was auctioning off, even when bid time was done bidding still continued I'm guessing by one of the employees under George Molayem driving prices up. The jewlery was way over inflated in the description and different pictures than what I received, example a necklace stated at worth $60,100.00 on certified paper by a fake appraiser was only worth $820.00 according to a REAL appraiser I took it to after I received it, best part is I paid $11,305.00 for it, I know.

I'm thinking same thing, only an idiot would to that. I bought 5 items that totaled $18,968.60.....real value $3,289.00. Well my PTSD just came back from this terrible more than regretful financial devistation I commited. So I am done, FYI DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH GEORGE MOLAYEM OR US JEWLERY LIQUIDATION. Also they won't take returns, give refunds, or even call, email, text or any other sort of communication after you give them your money.

Purchased 3 pieces of jewelry in November 2017 through auction house Invaluable. Invaluable refused to respond to my emails and U.S. Jewelry Liquidation also refused to respond to my multiple emails. Upon receipt of the jewelry, I could tell immediately that the items were cheap looking and not worth what the appraisals stated were worth. In fact, I lost $3,000 on these jewelry pieces and initially believed the jewelry was worth close to $12k. Do NOT purchase anything through this on-line auction house, Invaluable -- they get a hefty chunk of change from the rip-off company, U.S. Jewlery Liquidation and are of no help to consumers.
