We were contacted in May to sell our products with Urban Daddy Perks.

The promotion ended 5 months ago and we still have not received payment and now we get NO response from emails and their phone number is disconnected.

Throughout the planning and promtion itself they were reachable several times a day and now nothing.

Do not sell products with them and please do not support this unethical company!

Repeat DO NOT sell to them!! They owe us over $4,000 !! Now magically they wont reply when they owe.. We will never work with this company again!

Urbandaddy are the worst distributor we have used in our time in business! They request you drop ship thei goods to their customers then when you invoice them they decide not to pay you! laughable.

They decided that the NET30 terms of our contract didn't apply & contsantly gave excuses as to why the check hadn't arrived. They ' resent ' a new check numerous times and constantly blamed everyone else apart from themselves.

BE VERY VERY CAREFUL DEALING WITH THEM - THEY DO NOT PAY THEIR INVOICES!!!

It took us 5 months to get payment for a $1000 invoice - We only received payment after we stated we would be passing the case over to our debt collection agency who happen to be based in New York alongside them.

As noted in multiple other reports on this website, UrbanDaddy has refused to pay our small company for the merchandise sold through their website. We ran multiple successful campaigns on the UrbanDaddy Perks website and delivered thousands of dollars worth of merchandise to UrbanDaddy customers but we were never paid by UrbanDaddy. We have been seeking payment for over 3 years. Despite multiple emails, phone calls and requests from our legal counsel, UrbanDaddy has refused to respond in any way. Our experience has been the same as other vendors - UrbanDaddy avoids contact completely. Based on the evidence and reported experience of other vendors, this dishonest approach to ripping off vendors appears to be standard business policy for UrbanDaddy. They seem to be counting on the fact that small and medium size vendors will not have the time or resources to pursue payment through legal channels. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THS COMPANY.

I am a owner of www.fridaydapper.com We sell cool leather bracelets for men. We where contacted by Allison Saul of urban daddy to sell our bracelets. They where going to place the items on there website and when they sold them we would do the shipping. They said they would pay us 45 days after the sale ended.

After we submitted the invoice to Orin Thomas, he keep asking for more information and where extremely difficult to deal with. At this point i was already regretting doing a sale with them since the extra work they required meant we where working for pennys and hour.

After we submitted our invoice of 3.5k. After waiting nealry 2 months we where still not paid. I phoned them, contacted them by email, on social media. Any way i could actually. Finally the owner Lance Brouman agreed to send me a check. They send a check for 1k, not the full amount. They made the check out with my name and business name on the pay to section knowing that no bank would accept a check like this. I believe they where just buying time. After contaa cting them again they finally agreed to wire us the money. It never happened and they no longer will answer our emails or phone calls.

If you are another vendor please do your self a faavour and not deal with this company. Even if you do manage to get paid it will take up so much of your time that you will end up lossing money. This is the worst company we have ever sold too.

The people we delt with at this company and are part of this scam are

I'm the owner of a small business, based in Boston, MA, offered our products for sale on the UrbanDaddy website in November 2016. Following the sale, we invoiced the total amount due, along with all the necessary paperwork, on a NET30 contract. Two months and countless emails and phone calls later, we are still awaiting 100% of the amount due. Not once has anyone given us any indication of when this balance will be paid.

The best advice we've heard from one member of the A/P team, Orin Thomas, (who apparently has no contact with anyone else responsible for actually paying invoices, because they don't have phones) was to "threaten to blast us on social media" because "they hate that." He indicated that "someone did that last week and actually got paid."

This report is to warn vendors from pursuing a business relationship with UrbanDaddy Perks - they are nonchalant at best about taking care of simple payment for their vendors - throughout this lengthy and aggravating process, not once have we heard even a hint of an apology for what has been an extremely frustrating debacle, not to mention actually addressing the issue of a long outstanding payment to a local small business who extended credit in good faith.

For customers - we would ask you to please be aware of the business practices of UrbanDaddy, which are questionable at best. While they offer minor discounts on some products (which can also usually be found by speaking directly to the vendor), please know that the products you are purchasing are being effectively stolen from the vendors themselves. Please consider this and the effect it has on small businesses who extend credit to "reputable" companies in good faith, and who are ignored and left waiting for payment for months afterwards.
