United Service Contract Group Reviews

Wade, Phoenix AZ I had an extended warrantee with another company . I felt I was paying too much for the coverage. So , when I received a call from these guys. they offered a lower monthly payment with better coverage. I thought for once I had made the right choice. I was dead wrong. They had a 30 day waiting period .That came and went. However at about day 38 my 2011 Buick Regal ,(perhaps another bad choice), developed a problem with the 2 fuel pumps . There is one under the hood and another in the gas tank. I called it in and instantly started getting treated like I was some scam artist myself. In the meantime I am driving a car that not only sounds like a lawn mower but it is running like its about to die everytime I come to a stop. It idles really rough and slams in to 2nd gear. I happen to have a very honest shop of really skilled mechanics that I trust with my life. They have always been on my side and never charged me for un-necessasary work . I got the run around from the USCG people on the phone. They requested service receipts on the Buick for the previous 12 months. I had the shop fax them . They did not lime them . All I had done was oil changes and the rear brakes replaced and that was it. I had no trouble with the car. . But at 112000 miles I thought it wise to get an extended warrantee. A huge mistake. Theydecided to send an insurance adjuster out to inspect the vehicle. We are now at a week without the work being done . They offered to toss in $30 for a rental car. It was the weekend and the a very busy one in Phoenix . I couldnt get a rental for less than $79.99 which ends up being at least $100. If I sound cheap it is because I have been taken by crooked businesses like these people and I am now pennyless. They finally agree to fix the car. Well, a luttle bit of the car. They will only fix the fuel pump in the gas tank. Not the one under the hood . It was going to be over $1000 worth of work to fix the 2 pumps.

Tbis is one of those situations where fixingvone and not the other is a waste of time because the new pump will have to work overtime and it will wear out very fast. That is what they were told by my mechanics. They even did the diagnostic in frontvof the guy and hereported it to the company. Now I am told that the level of coverage is their lowest level of coverage. I was never informed that there was more than one level of coverage . These guys are weezles. So , its going to cost me $450. that I dont have.to fix a car. If I dont find the moneyand have just one pump done it is just going to break again and its all because these thieves wont hold up their end of the bargain. And their customer service department is suggesting that my receipts are fraudulant. Ifvthey were I would given them more than just oil receipts to make it look good. A big thanks for nothing to USCG. You people. need to be stopped. Wade, Phoenix AZ
