I called Ultra Patios to schedule an appointment for a free in house estimate after my neighbor got her patio cover installed. The person that showed up to my door was Thomas Ferreri, he measured my back yard then he basically pushed his way into my home to "pitch me". He showed up with a binder full of pictures. What Mr. Ferreri didn't know was that I had been researching Patio Cover for the past few days. A lot of the pictures that he was showing off as his own projects other companies had them on their website. I questioned him on it and he blew it off. He was so pushy at the end that I honestly just wanted him out of my house!!! I felt so uneasy and I can feel how he was trying to manipulate me to sign this form that he called "estimate form" when in reality after reading it I found out it was an actual contract!!! Thankfully I got him to leave my house. The next day my neighbor comes over super mad. She said that our HOA just issued her a fine because the patio cover was never approved. Thomas Fileccia (her estimator AND owner of Ultra Patios) had told her that he was going to take care of it for her and she needed not to worry. Well he didn't take care of it. I went with her to the Clark County Building Department to make sure that it was at least permited. After about 3 hours of waiting they informed her that no her patio cover was never permited. She called the office number and after no answer we decided to pay Ultra Patios a visit. We went to the address on their website (10161 Park Run Dr. Suite 150 Las Vegas, NV 89149) only to find out it was a "virtual" office. Which we had no idea what that meant until they explained to us that Mr. Fileccia pays this generic office a monthly fee to allow him to use that address as his business address but in reality it is not his office!!! So after a little deeper investigation we found another address (xx S Pavilion Center Dr, Las Vegas, NV 89135). This one turned out to be the address of an appartment complex!! Apperently Mr. Ferreri and Mr. Fileccia live in these apartments. I was not aware you could run a construction business out of an apartment! Finally Mr. Ferreri called my neighbor back and told her she didn't "need" her HOA approval and/or her permit he said not to worry. At this point she didn't belive a word he said and neither did I. We dug deeper into both of them and the things that we found out were pretty scary!! Mr. Ferreri has had multiple contractors licenses and they have all been revoked! He is actually banned from ever aquiring a license in the state of Nevada. Mr. Fileccia the "owner" does not have 35 years experience as his webisite claims! He recently moved to Las Vegas from New York where he worked doing fencing!
I am glad I never signed any contract with Ultra Patios and I'm glad I saw right through Mr. Ferreri when he came to my house. On the other hand my neighbor had to hire another company to engineer her patio cover so our HOA will approve it and it could be permitted. The company she hired said they have had to fix many patios that Ultra Patio built because they were not engineered right.
To ALL consumers out there STAY AWAY from Ultra Patios and specially Mr. Ferreri & Mr. Fileccia!! Stick with a company that is ligitimate has proper licensing, bonding and high monetary limits!! Sometimes going with the "cheaper option" turnes out to be a lot more expensive!!!

In fact, the very same report was posted with "Rip off Report," where Ultra Patios also posted a rebuttal report challenging this alleged consumer to come forward and resolve this matter in a public forum.
First and foremost, Ultra Patios, www.ultrapatios.com, is properly licensed, bonded, and insured with the Nevada State Contractors Board, and, further, provides both excellent, respectful, and prompt customer service as well as a quality product to its customers. Positive reviews can be found not only on its website, but on such search engines as Google Plus and on consumer-oriented websites such as BuildZoom, where Ultra Patios has a stellar rating of 121 and is rated in the top 5% of over 21,000 contractors in Nevada. Ultra Patios offers a personalized approach to meeting its customers’ needs, and, in reality, is a family-owned business dedicated to serving its customers. We are an official dealer for Alumawood, Elitewood, and Lion Premium Grills, and collaborate with other well-known vendors. In fact, in response to this fraudulent complaint, Metals Building Products, one of our vendors, has issued a letter outlining its relationship with Ultra Patios and directly and explicitly stating that it has never received any complaints from any consumer regarding the services provided by Ultra Patios.
That being said, any consumer reviewing this report should note that it was filed anonymously. At Ultra Patios, we do take any consumer complaints seriously, and we look to resolve the same in a prompt manner because of our commitment to customer satisfaction.
