I just want to let Any vets thinking of using the VA don't do it. I lost my job about 3 years ago due to dislocated and flat disk in my back. I went to the Va I feel like I have been Raped. I'm 62 years old and I have never been treated this badly or disrespect by any organization other than the VA my entire life..My wife thinks they are the most heartless organization she has ever seen. I've talked to a lot of people in the VA. The Va in Indianapolis doesn't even want to help you. We filed Bankruptcy and let the Va know. They decided I owe a lot of money for using there services. We spent hours and months fighting over this. They told me since I filed Bankruptcy and it was over that I was ok now and would now have the money to pay them. I either pay the VA or they would garnish my social security and they did. I haven't worked for over 2 years at this time still have not even seen a surgeon about my back, They set me up to see a surgeon and then cancelled it. I said let me go to Indy the appointment would be over 3 months they won't let you see one. Almost 3 years and they have done nothing to help me accept charged me for all the help they didn't give me. I'm a proud Vietnam Airman I was proud to serve my country. I told a lady at the VA in In Indianapolis that if I knew I was going to be treated Like a piece of s**t for serving my country I never would of done it. Don't use the VA it will be the Biggest mistake in your life. We're working on getting medicare since I'm not stupid enough to go back to the VA again. I lost my job and everything I owned and all the Va did and was to do is ruin me and they did a good job of doing that. Thanks for letting me share some of the worst days of my life.
