TWIN STAR TRANSFER LLC US DOT #301631 DID NOT PAY ME AS AGREED UPON FOR WORK PERFORMED ON BEHALF OF MR. TIM WATTS COMPANY LITTLE FALLS AND BURNSVILLE, MINNESOTA

I believe this company is owned and managed by Mr. Tim Watts. Mr. Watts states his title as President. Another person who was introduced to me as the operations manager by the name of Mr. Sam Watts is believed to be Mr. Tim Watts’s son. Twin Star Transfer LLC is engaged in Interstate transportation of refrigerated commodities primarily between Minnesota and Texas as of the date of this letter. Twin Star Transfer has previously been and may possibly still be located at 1301 Crestview Dr. Little Falls, Minnesota 56345. There is also another address listed for this company locating it at 401 E 135th St Burnsville, Minnesota 55337. The Burnsville address is believed to be the President and owner of Twin Star Transfer’s, home and current office address. Another address that is being used is P.O. Box 154 Little Falls, Minnesota 56345. A couple of phone numbers are listed for Twin Star LLC Main: 320-639-2208 and Cell: 612-619-0289.

My involvement with Mr. Watts began in the latter half of 2017. He contacted me via an email and asked if I would be interested in working for him as a driver. I declined the offer but told him I may be interested in recruiting drivers for his company. I would work from my own office and not be an employee. He would have to pay me a specified amount each week as an outside consultant/recruiter. I would invoice him each week for the total amount due. The details were in writing and agreed upon. In early 2018 I began the process of recruiting drivers for Mr. Watts. I invoiced Twin Star Transfer weekly. Mr. Tim Watts and Twin Star Transfer were late with the first payment. He stated numerous reasons for not being able to pay me on time. He finally made a payment or two. Another week or so passed and he had not paid on the new invoices I sent him.

He finally sent a check for the new invoices and that check was returned to me without payment because he had stopped payment. Another check was issued and that one was also no good. Mr. Watts and Twin Star Transfer was still in arrears. He finally paid up a couple more weeks of invoices for a total of five invoices paid but was still two weeks behind as about seven invoices had already been sent to him over a seven week period of time. I asked him several times each week to pay me. This continued until he was five weeks behind with payments. Now a total of about ten weeks had passed since I started invoicing Twin Star Transfer. I called and asked to be paid in full. He became agitated and belligerent and was bullying me.

I told him I had been as patient as I could be but would no longer continue on without payment in full. He refused and cited numerous reasons why he could not pay me. He made excuses daily as to why he could not pay me. He stated he was buying Nighthawk Transportation located in Litchfield, Minnesota. With the acquisition of Nighthawk he would be able to pay me and I would have a great corporate position in his company. It was going to be great according to Mr. Watts. I just needed to hang on a little longer. After all I heard from him I decided to verify Mr. Watts statements. Well, it turned out he was making many false statements. I then had to move on and decided to attempt to collect the money owed to me. I explained that I might have to take this before the court.

I have since been able to get a written agreement from Twin Star Transfer and Mr. Tim Watts that he owes me $4831.72. This letter is notarized and dated May 17th, 2018. The payment agreement was for 7 weekly installments of $690.25 with the first payment due on May 21st, 2018. It was to be sent USPS and postmarked for May 21st, 2018. I did not receive payment as agreed to in writing. I contacted him and he replied he was not going to pay it now. This makes the agreement in default. I explained I would now file a suit in court to collect. Further I explained I would be posting this letter to the Internet.

I have been deceived by an unscrupulous businessman. It is with a heavy heart that I must move forward to collect what is mine by resorting to court action and all other means available to collect this debt.
