Tutor.com, Inc. Reviews

  • Dec 4, 2017

I have been using Tutor.com both as a student and as a tutor for over a decade and this service has become bad overtime. You have tutors who do not know anything and claim they are experts when really they are not. These tutors give students and others a very hard and difficult time in the tutoring sessions despite claiming that students give them a difficult time.

Every time I come on Tutor.com, the tutor constantly says "what can I help you?" or "how can I help you?" when a question or more information has already been said. The tutors ask for personal information and use it to commit fraud. If students don't do what the tutor's wants or if tutor is not helping the student, then tutor block the student. I have reported on this multiple times and Tutor.com has done nothing.

Their tutors are the worse as they talk down as students, especially those who need step-by-step help, constantly blocking students, being rude, and other things.

I had tutors on this site that ae simply very bad. This is on Libraries Edition, Higher Education Edition, Military Edition, Personal Edition, and all other editions. It is very difficult in all subject areas ranging from writing/reading, math, science, job help and other topics to simply get help.

The wait time is too long and the sessions are very short (20 minutes).

These tutors also make fun of students on Reddit mocking them and ridiculing them. They complain that Tutor.com is underpaying them and their personal issues. The tutors lose documents and refused to bring them saying "we can't do anything"

These tutors are giving people a very hard time, saying swear words to students and wants personal information. The site is buggy as it has disconnections and filing upload issues and frezzing problems.

These tutors refused to read the questions and information a student is providing. These tutors are not experts at all. I hate Tutor.com . If you want better tutoring, then go to Brainfuse.com, Smartthinking.com, and other places, or get a in-person personal tutor.

Tutor.com overcharges libraries and schools for their services. Many public libraries and schools (both public and private) are unable to afford Tutor.com's services. Tutor.com has threatened clients for money and constantly harrass them. Their tutors also harrass the students and act very stupid and dumb. This happens every single day for 361 days a year.

Spend your money elsewhere and find another service. Tutor.com is not worth it and it is simply a ripoff as they do other people's homework for free and give students the answers. They do violate company policy. Stay away from Tutor.com. It is horrible and it is bad.
