Company shorts drivers on pay, very dishonest. Forces drivers to haul illegal loads and unsafe equipment. Threatens to report truck stolen if you don't do what they tell you do. This company does not care about it drivers, do not driver for this company
I received a phone call from Agnes Gilliam offering me a truck driving job. We discussed what the pay would be based upon. I worked all the hours that the DOT allowed, keeping log with a trucking app called "KeepTruckin".
After three weeks of long hours due to the nature of the business where she searched out and accepted brokered loads (probably those not accepted by smarter trucking companies), the supposed payday came around so I asked for my paycheck.
A couple of days later, I was given a check (as it turns out, it was a draft) on a prepaid card called "Green Dot Bank" which is a prepaid Visa card. I cashed the check at Bank of America, believing that they would have validated the funds before handing me the cash ($1,611.95) for the first two weeks.
A few days later, my wife called me in tears because all of the checks for our bills bounced and we were severely overdrafted. B of A hit my personal checking account for the bad draft and devasteted us for weeks until I got a different job and finally got a real pay check.
If you are reading this because you are considering working for Gladys, RUN AWAY FAST WHILE YOU CAN and cut your losses.
I took this to the State of Nevada and they declined help because I was driving across state lines. Federal DOT just laughed at me. Apparently, these crooks are common and you are left with limited recourse. I have a job which I like but If I have time, I plan to take this to court for the judgement. This will probably be a waste of time because I would have to take further steps after the judgement and these flakes know how to hide their assets.
Again, if you are considering working for these pukes, RUN FAST AND RUN FAR!
