Tracey Ash Reviews

  • Jul 27, 2017

I came across Tracey Ash in 2010 through a reading in the College of Psychic Studies. After the reading, she invited me to two of her Light Activation sessions that she ran on a weekly basis and then signed up to one of her trips to Egypt. I enjoyed the weekly sessions which I felt were therapeutic as I was in need of guidance at that point in my life.

The trouble started when I signed up to her offsite retreats and put a hefty deposit to secure my place. I was looking forward to it but a week after I had made a deposit-- in the spring of 2011 the Arab Spring flared up and flights to Egypt were cancelled and travelers were advised to avoid Egypt. I assumed that cancelled flights and travel caution would be enough to cancel and get my deposit back, especially as I did not put myself at risk being a woman traveling alone.

However, Tracey refused to refund me and said that the retreat was still going ahead, and that it was in a city far away from Cairo and that even though the flight was cancelled, it was up to me to find a way to get over there. I was shocked that a someone who claimed to be a spiritual teacher would act so unreasonably and offered so little support. Back then I was young and naive and did not know that I had a right to a refund and could pursue it through the courts. After much back and forth, she agreed to give me credit instead of money.

After the way Tracey had treated me, I was so disgusted that I did not wish to take any more the classes or have any more sessions with her so I could not find a way to use the credit. So, I walked away from most of the deposit that I put down for the trip and learned a lesson about self promoting gurus.

Since then, I have gone on to meet a great deal of intuitives and other teachers. I learned a lot about myself, and standing up for myself. Maybe she is an intuitive and provides a service that some value but there are many others there who are far better and do not have such a big ego. I started listening intently to her words most of which were confusing using big vague words like "consciousness," "feel the energies," etc. Similarly, I tried to read her book and found it difficult to read as it was really fluffy.

When I met her, she impressed me by saying that she had manifested her husband and she presented herself publicly as having a perfect life, especially in her book. In reality, she was divorced and would imply her ex-husband was terrible. Her boyfriend at the time seemed ok until you spoke to him. He was rough around the edges and used coarse language said things like he was with her because "she had a good rack." At the time, I kept my mouth shut because I did not wish to question or contradict a spiritual teacher.

Now that I am more experienced I do not wish to remain silent. I have always avoided her presentatiosn and warned people about her. There are too many self promoting gurus out there, and she is one of the most greedy. I understand that she has to support herself somehow but there is no need to violate the law by refusing to give them the money back especially given extenuating circumstances. If anyone doubts me, just listen to her words and see if anything she says makes sense.

All super fluffy and you can't question anything she sats...AVOID.
