I received a flyer advertising a great vacation at an amazing price from my husband's job. When I called I spoke with a man who told me he couldn't give me the names of the resorts they offered until after I purchased the package. However, he assured me that all of their resorts were 4 or 5 star resorts. After speaking with him I called back and talked to Diane White (who said her extension was 323). I asked Diane if I purchased the package and changed my mind once I saw the resorts if could I get a refund. She assured me that I could get a refund as long as it was within 30 days. I purchased the package on February 8th and was given the website (tropicaltoursrus.com) to check out the available resorts. I planned on vacationing in the Dominican Republic and they have 4 resorts to choose from in that area. After doing some research online I was very unhappy with the multiple reviews that I found. Customers complained of horrible customer service, bed bugs, and other unpleasant conditions at these resorts. Based on my research I decided to ask for a refund. I contacted customer service at 855-883-1865 (12 days after purchase, well within 30 days) and was told that I needed to email my request. I did as I was told and got no response to my email (not even an acknowledgement email) in the 1st 24 hours so I called them back the next day. Once I called them a representative sent me an acknowledgment email and assured me that my request would be answered w/in 7 to 10 business days. I contacted them on the 10th day to check on the status of my refund. The representative that I spoke with was very rude and seemed to be giving me the runaround.

She told me they were waiting on a response from their vendor and couldn't guarantee me a refund. I explained that Diane White originally told me that I could get a refund w/in 30 days if I changed my mind. I asked to speak with a supervisor because it had become apparent to me that I was not dealing with an honest and legitimate company. The rep placed me on hold for less than a minute and hung up on me. I called back 3 times and each time the phone rang for 3-4 minutes with no answer and no voicemail. I called from a different number and finally someone answered. However, as soon as they heard my voice on the other end they hung up again. I called back again approximately 5 times before reaching Jessica. She was the 1st polite person that I talked to from this company. She told me that her supervisor was on lunch and not available until 3pm EST. Then she said the Supervisor Amber Black would call me back within 24 to 48 business hours. I also called there reservation line at 866-404-2870 when I was unable to get through to customer service. I was also hung up on by a male representative at this number twice. When I called back he insisted that I kept hanging up on him. He finally told me he would put a request in for a supervisor to call me back within an hour and that hasn't happened. At this time, I have lost all faith in this company and am praying to get my money back so I never have to deal with them again.
