On the late evening of 31st March 2017 I placed an order with Tickbox TV which was processed by their office on 1st April 2017. The order arrived very late - well outside of their two week shipping period.

When the order arrived I experienced technical difficultites and got very little assistan ce from their "customer service" which is done via on line chat. I purchased a new router thinking that could be my issue. Not true - the purchasae of the new router did not solve the problem.

I returned the equipment to Tickbox (as they display a 100% money back guarantee). The equipment was reveceived by Tickbox TV on 4th May 2017. I have communicated several times with Tickbox TV via their on chat, via email, and via phone (my last communication via chat they revealed a customer service number). I have received different variations of the processing of my refund.

I was asked b y Tickbox do I want my refund returned back to card or via check. I used a card to make the purchase. Tickbox TV informed their is a problem with their refund process would take a very long time. I agreed to accept a bank check or money order as I did not want a regular chack bouncing through my account.

As of the writing of this correcpodence I have not been favored with a refund from Tickbox.

I ORDERED A TICKBOXTV IN GOOD FAITH THAT THE PRODUCT WOULD WORK AS STATED. WELL IT DOES NOT IT IS APIECE OF PURE CRAP,and imean REAL CRAP. THE ONLY WAY TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THESE PEOPLE IS THROUGH EMAILS AND THAT SUCKS TOO. THIER PRODUCTS SUCK AND THE EMAILS YOU SEND TO THEM ARE AS USEFUL AS t**s ON A BORE HOG, ALL I GET FROM ANY ONE AT TICKBOX EMAILS IS MORE RUNAROUND THAY LIE SUCK AND RIP YOU OFF DON'T BUY FOR THSES LYING PEOPLE

On Feb 31 this year I ordered and paid for with my debit card the Tickbox tv. It was streaming tv without cable. First off , it was late coming. I did get an email apologizing for the delay and telling me when it was coming; and it did. I did the set up step by step. I had a few problems. There was not a phone number you had to chat a question and wait for an answer. No matter the time of day " the reply was we will get back to you during normal business hours. I finally got this thing to partially work after a week of watching the setup videos. Everytime we watched anything the show would freeze up and we would have to shut it down and restart the system again. The last few times we did it a childs game came came up. At that point our patience was shot. I email the company and told them I was retuning it and that I wanted a refund. I was within my thirty day full refund period. Since then I have written and received a total of 13 emails and I have spoken to Micheal , Zari and Taraall of the return email from ththis coming and the phone answers I have received have said the same thing . Our PAYTO system is still not running and is being worked on please be patient.

I have long since run out of patience !

I am on Social Security and a small pension, the $99.20 is very inportant to me.

Please can you help me.

Should have known better

Ok, I don't normally do this before I even try the product, but here goes.

I ordered a Tickbox on Mar 12, 2017

Date shipped: Mar 23, 2017

Upon receiving it I set it up and it would not work and their technician to me to return the system without explicit instructions.

I asked for a shipping label and instructions and never received either.

I returned it on April, 26, 2017 via FedEx.

I have never heard of returning part of a system so I returned the entire system: Box, Cables, Keyboard.

The return was signed by receiving Rep location in Atlanta.

Since then I have been trying online, telephone and email to get the system.

First they sent me the box without cables and keyboard.

Then they sent me the cables without the keyboard.

Then I received an email on May 25th saying the keyboard was shipped on that date.

To date, June 1st, I have not received the keyboard.

Today I spent significant time on the phone talking to a Rep.

She told me the article had been shipped and received, it hasn't.

She then told me she will escalate the problem and get the keyboard shipped.

If this system does not work I am going to return it again and demand a refund.

If I get the same response that some of you have described I will send a letter to the Florida Attorney General.

TicBox is an internet ONLY supplier. I ordered a system before reading all the information about it then sent it back, or refused delivery, as they requested for a full refund. What changed my mind is they give the impression everything will be just like your current cable or satellite provider except there is no charge when actually you must go through a lengthy search process before you find what you’re looking for and what you want might not be available. So, there’s no viewing the list of what’s playing or available like your current providers list of programing, you must know what’s playing so you can search for it.

So, my “full refund”; I purchase the system March 24, 2017, they got the equipment back in their hands April 8, 2017. Since then I have sent probably a dozen emails looking for my refund and they always reply that they have priority processed the refund to my credit card. April 24, 2017, I filed a complaint with my credit card company who reversed the charge but still today, May 28, 2017, they still haven’t processed the refund. That’s pretty scary when there is no phone number or business address to go after with them at, just email.

OH and need technical support? Since that’s the only email address available, I wrote to them and it took 2 days to get a response. So when your system has a problem or you just need technical support to operate the system, it could take a week or more, back and forth with emails to resolve your problem.

Surf their site in every direction and read everything including Q & A’s before making a decision. I’d rather pay for cable than have a TV I might very well not be able to watch for a week or more because it’s a phantom company with email only communication access.

I have been working to get my refund of $179.80 since April 2017. Which as a fact and holding proof of delivery with signature. I have exchanged over 60 emails to [email protected] and receive lies and excuses only. I honored all stipulations of the money back gurantee to no avail. There is no way to properly communicate with this company as they have no open lines but rather a chat service on their website.

Returned Tick Box on 4-21-17 as keyboard would not funtion. Waited wo weekss for refund. Sent an e-mail. Was told they were having problems with their processor. Wanted to know if I would accept a check. Told them yes. Received a check for $4.90. Told them that I had sent back a keyboard and tick boc. They owed m99.90 for tick box. Oneweek later received a check for $34.90. Called and talked to Supervisor Damon. After several minutes of explanation he told me that I was correct. They owed me a refund of $99.90 but since I had alrady received the check for $34.90 that he would expdite me a refund for $65.00. Waited two moreeks. Sent an e-mail No response. Waited another two weeks. Sent a-mail no resonse.

They guarantee that you can gt a refund is not totally satisfied. I am not , as the key board did not work.

All at onec I received another Tick Bos. Which I didnot order, nor want. I just want muy money refunded.

I purchased the items on 04/03/2017. After reading what was required to get maximum output

from the units, I decided Idid not want it. I would have to increase my internet speed to get good

reception, Idid not want to incur any more charges from my internet provider. I also would have to

purchase an antenna to get local channels. So i requested a reund.

When I would call them to see when will I get the refund, they would put me on hold for about 1/2 hr.

I had to hang up because no one would respond. They would apologize and give a lot of bull telling me that

it was the payto outfit that handles their payments. I have sent over 15 emails and cn't get a definite

answer..

Here are the items I purchased. Total is $124.85 + $20.00 = $144.85

As with another individual, purchased 2 tick box tv setups that were a pain to get started, experianced constant changing themes, complete failure of units, and now don't work at all. box will take you halfway to where you want to go, and then won't let you continue.

tick box is a total rip off!

I have two tickbox tv, both are not wroking. It says tickbox is up dating, then it says: fail to download please retry. I have retry for seven day. I have had many issue with this tickbox tv's.

Ordered one tickbox, it came with a keyboard controler, they did not work, after a couple of hours with trying I gave up, contacted tickbox, they responded and told me how to return the item. did not receive a refund, called the 800 number, no answer, called the 404 number, no answer, used the e-mail and fax number, no answer., it has been over 3 weeks and I can make no contact with them.

How is it that comsumer protection can't shut crap like this down?

I ordered 3 tick tv boxes in April ... The service was find 4 few months... Then every week the streaming would not work ...I will call up technical support & they would tell how 2 trouble shoot on ur own... It worked 4 awhile.... however every other week I would have 2 call.. This last mo which is Dec. 2017 the trouble shooting would not work at all .. I would see on the tv screen that it had failed... After I saw failed it would not work anymore.. So I contacted them & tickbox’s rep.tried 2 get me troubleshoot again with no avail. I just believe that the boxes are inferior & they knew it all long...I wanted my money back which was almost $300... I still want to go after them regardless even if I do not get a refund... I do not want anyone else ripped off like I was!!!! So please stay away from tickbox tv!!!!

not worth the aggravation!

When it works well, it is ok, but, getting to see something that you want is a long, tedious and frustrating process. Suddenly last night we lost the sound. I think that is the last straw.

I had asked questions before I ordered 2 TICKBOX's. They stated they would be shipped out within 3 to 4 business days. I ordered online and received an email that they will not be here for 2 weeks. I have stated and asks a couple of times to get a routing number for UPS or whatever way they are shipping. They kept saying it will be shipped soon. Today was 2 weeks. They stated it has not shipped and to give them one more week. I asked for a phone number. They have it to me. It went straight to a voicemail. Have not heard back. Any ideas on these guys. Are they for real? Not happy.

In early september 2017 my room mate purchased her tickbox that I setup. Once up and running it seem to work fine. they direct you to install from differant theams to select various networks and shows etc. The theam we were using (Spinz) started having problems like freezing and complete shutdowns and small notices were posted to use the "Wookie" theam. No luck still. Unfortunately for me I had ordered a Tickbox for myself when all this took place. when mine arrived the same problem. I had the cable company here to check and make sure all signals were optimal and had internet speed turned up to 100 from 60, same problem still.

I went on line with tickbox chat rep as we spent a good hour on trying to figure out the problem. He gave up after his efforts were of no help and offered up a phone number to call. He was courtious and professional with in his limits to help. In the meantime this tickbox keeps locking up and shutting down as it reminds me of a processor failing getting hot.

Sometimes it will run for hours and other times I cant even open a theam. "Unfortunately Tickbox has shut down" is the only consistant operation Ive witnessed this box is capable of. Both boxes in this house do the same thing. I have also 2 firesticks on other sets working as designed. In my opinion the tickbox is being field tested and should not have been released for public consumption till consistant.

Tickbox has not refunded my money for the products returned four months ago. I have contacted them at least four time and each time I got a respone saying that they would be sending aaa refund within a week. Nothing!

Þhey owe me two refunds of $179.00 (#514402250) and $49.99.

This was paid throgh "I cçan pay "transaction #500105221. The order # is TB368659316.

The last requesr was by chat and then my requesrs were bloked out. There are no phone numbers or mailing addresses available without intensive research.

BEWARE OF THIS RIPOFF!!

Would give minus stars if possible.They sent a piece of junk and it was one problem after another and I sent it back and was promised a refund of $99.90.

All they do is give one excuse after another and are always very condescending(don' t worry,we will refund ,we are sorry for your inconvenience...blah,blah blah).THEY ARE SCAMMERS! Constant runaround.Stay away...

started out good... then down hill

We were excited @ first, it seemed to work well & then after about 2 weeks, there was an 'upgrade' & it has been down hill from there. We get so frustrated if we try to watch anything, by the time we find a movie to watch & it won't play, an error message comes up to ' check the log'; what log? All your time is spent searching & then being shot down because it's not streaming @ this time. We even increased our internet speed, which didn't help. This is a great concept & if it worked the guys @ Ticbox would become wealthy. Truly hope they can work out all the bugs.

Look before you leap!

That is exactly what I have done! I am so glad I read these "reviews." Now I am $89.95 ahead and don't have to go through all the BS which you folks have. Keep pushing. Sending notification to your state's attorney general and the Florida attorney general is the thing to do.

I am very disatisfied with my tickbox,

it has never performed properly and couldnt complete the shows I was watching

I have tried to contact techsupport with no sucess.they claim a money back gurantee but wont honer it to date

have been having this problem since I purchased the unit in $-22-2017

I ordered merchandise from Tickbox in March. The merchandise was junk. I returned the merchandise in April. The return was acknowledged received on April 30th. Then the lies started. I was assured the credit was being processed but it might take a little while as they were having a problem with their accounting department. No credit In May I filed a complaint with the Attorney General office and the BBB in Georgia. On June 23 I received an e-mail from Tickbox offering to mail me a check instead of a credit. Another lie . They now refuse to answer any e-mails.

To many complaints from TickBox TV

I have concerning getting a Tick Box due to my Direct TV bill for this month was 143.50 for three TV's. Reading all of these complaints is really not selling me this product. I just want something that is not going to cost an arm and a leg. Too many complaints for me.

Will need to find something I will have no choice but to leave my cable co and find something easy and less expensive.

I have been working to get my refund of $179.80 since August 2017. I have exchanged MANY emails to [email protected]. They sent me a 'new' unit that was supposed to be tested and extended my 30 day return policy - but of course that did not work either. I chatted with people, I spoke on the phone with people. The last woman had an attitude of why do you want to return this? You must have not done it right, so talk to our support. I said NO, I want a refund. I had to prove to her my 30 days was extended after which she said she was going to submit my request to management - believe his name was Joe and I should hear within two weeks. Still waiting!!!!!

I returned a TickBox on 8/4/17 via UPS, it was received on 8/8/17 and signed for by Allen. I was told by email that my refund would be processed and I should see it in my mailbox in 5-7 days. I have emailed numerous times and I have been told the same thing each time. I'm over it, I don't ever expect to see my refund at this point but someone needs to contact this company and see what's going on. Very unhappy!

Not worth the money

I got my box 8/25 and I still can't get anything to come on tried a couple of movies they start and freeze up. No sound even if it all the way up. So far I'm very unhappy with it and really thinking I need to send back. I put it on a credit card so I'm calling them first thing Monday to see if I can get help getting the money back after reading about everyone having so many problems.
