Two year warranty on self propelled auto start walk behind residential lawn mower is misleading. Model no. 20334, sn 404655997.
Called local service center, ace hardware, as listed for warranty repair on toro site. Was told that if the problem was not covered under warranty, that the $50 deposit was non refundable, even if i chose not to have the work done.
Over the winter, the gas was removed completely, and new mobil gas was added. The machine worked and started to stall after 2 2hr runs. The machine was used about ten hours last summer, and once this year.
I bought an american product over the honda! went to a local service store, got screwed.
I had a Toro lawn mower for seven years. The warranty was for five. Both rear wheels came off. They did not come loose but they came off with part of the housing on each side. The material is either defective or of poor quality. At $450 , it should not be of poor quality. It is a push mower. The local store, customer servive, nor their board would help. A new housing was $118 plus labor.
