I bought a Marmoset, had her 7 days, she died, he unfriended me on Facebook, I asked if I could be reimbursed, he said "No Warranty". Had a Necropsy done, he feeds his marmosets human infant formula, which causes hemochromatosis, which is an iron storage disease. They DO NOT need iron, and he feeds formula and rice cereal...both formulated with extra iron for human babies. So I spent $5,075 on a Marmoset that died because of her diet.
Horrible person to take money from me, who claims he has a 6 month Warranty, the only paperwork he sent me was a paper stating I received her "in apparent good health". I am not a vet, how could I have possibly known she had a disease causing her organs to fail...slowly...5 minutes after receiving her? Do not want anyome else to go through this. So my attorney is handling my case. Jim has until the December 21st to send my money order to my attorney, or we will launch a federal investigation, including USDA and FWA complaints.

Please find baby monkeys from other fla breeders . jim hammonds dose not raise babys he goes all over fla and buys other real breeders babys and doubles the prices on them . any real breeders sell babys much cheaper than these flippers ..

On January 23rd 2017 I stumbled upon Jim's website while trying to find an exotic animal (spiny mouse). I saw he bred and sold marmosets and was interested in learning about the animal. I then emailed Jim telling him I was interested in learning about marmosets and would like to possibly get one in the near future, I told him where I was located and asked if I needed permits, he told me that marmosets were not allowed in my state to which I replied that I was not in the city and thought maybe they would be allowed in my location, I then got a very nasty reply from Jim saying " have been doing this 20 years ok NEW YORK is a banned state ok get it!!!" I was quite taken back by this reply and thought it was a pretty rude way to reply to an inquiring customer. My reply to this rude email was " I came to you with questions about an animal and you reply this way? You will be getting a very bad review from me along with screen shots of this conversation.
Very poor customer service and very rude! How can you run a business with that kind of response? Shameful! " To which he replied even worse then before by calling me a "snowflake". This was his reply "Couldn't be happier snowflake don't have to do business with d****e bags like yourself lol don't you have some one else's time to waste ?? I'm bored with your whining

Charged us $400 for a special " primate" cage that is listed on Amazon as a "large bird" cage for $75-$100. Very rude and obnoxious individual.
