Our bad experience started with being lied to about the availability of our apartment. Since we had already given our notice at our current apartment, we had no choice but to take an apartment that was supposed to be"off-line" and being renovated. Except it wasn't being renovated! It was filthy and mold infested! We were given deadlines for work to be done that were never meet! In the two years we lived there, there were six (6) changes in management! The last manager, although the best of the others, had a boyfriend who sold drugs on the property. They changed maintenance personnel three (3) times in two years! Even some of the maintenance people agreed that management was not doing it's job! Unprofessional staff, poor response to maintenance problems, pest and rodents, and weekend shootings were the norm! Living there was hell on earth and moving there was the biggest mistake of my life! DON'T MOVE HERE -- YOU WILL REGRET IT!

I want to express how you should avoid Cedars of Chalet apartments at all costs. First off the experience has been the worst
I have ever experienced in the many years I have rented. I will start with the staff they have a person named Joy who is
the rudest most unproffessional individual I have ever encountered in the business of housing a community, she
seems to find any way to find charges eventhough her manager had another agreement alltogether. When asked any
questions her replies are rude and insulting ,if an apartment can hire someone like this it says a lot for the management and
ownership. The properties are insect infested and when asked you will get rude Joy the gatekeeper to stop you from
speaking to management. Youll get charged a 100 extra per month for a rehab unit which honestly is a lipstick job at best
renovations where done terribly. They now charge 780 per month for 2bd ,in the hood where 3 shootings have taken
place in the last month. They have no amenities to speak of, the homes dont even have phone connections. I can go on
forever about this community. Not to much longer and my lease will be up..... DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AVOID CEDARS OF
