Our company, Bravura Dansu Productions, was encouraged by a SCORE member in San Antonio to apply for woman-owned business certification so as to be eligible for special financing with banks and for special help with setting up/running our business through the State of Texas. After researching the certification online through SBA.org, we found TexasCertificationDirectorylorg. The website looked like it was through the State of Texas and it had many "recommendations" on it from SBA, SCORE, national banks and other details that made it appear that the organization was working with/on behalf of the State of Texas. Because it looked like a government entity, we did not do a background check on them through the complaint sites or Better Business Bureau. Big mistake! After completing the payment and sending all paperwork by the deadlines they required, we suddenly were not getting any response from them about when we would receive our certification. We have been trying since February 2018 to resolve the missing certification and during that time, lost many financial opportunities as a result. Today (July 31), we finally learned that the man running the organization is NOT associated with the State of Texas at all, and that several complaints have been issued against him this year for taking money and not delivering certificates or for harrasing people who attempt to obtain their certificate in follow-up emails. We are now out the $395.00 we paid to him but we are determined to make sure no other woman has this problem with them.

Charges $400 for what one thinks is associated with the Texas State Certification, but it's not and then he threatens you with lawsuits when you contest and complain.

Go read the other reports here

The complaints on Google

The complaints filed with the BBB with whom he won't engage.

I strongly suggest filing with the Attorney General.

He preys on the very people he claims to represent.
