I am a straight A student, who was trying to finish a weekly assignment while having left my textbook at a friend's house out of state. While it was being shipped to me, I searched online for a copy of the case study to read in order to finish my report.
I couldn't find the case study, but I did find a direct quote I needed to finish up my assignment. Unfortunately, it was on this website. I paid the $2, got my quote, and then never looked back. I wish I would have!
They got away with charging me a monthly membership of $29.95 TWICE, as the first charge showed up delayed during a time of high traffic in my account. As soon as I noticed the second charges, I sent an e-mail. I had to track down my account and file to retrieve my password.
Strangely, I "supposedly" signed up for this membership with an e-mail account I never even use anymore, under the neame of "K" - why I would do that is beyond me!
Still, they refused to refund my money, even though I informed them that I was never even given any small print to read - there was NO indication I was agreeing to any membership, and I never went back to their site afterwards.
I am so tired of being ripped off for being a student all the time. Do not use this website, no matter how little information you are wanting, or how harmless it is - they will rip you off!
