LOOKED AT MY HISTORY OF ALL TRANSACTIONS AND WAS BAFFLED BY DOZENS AND DOZENS OF TRANSACTIONS SHOWING SUPER FAST DEPOSITS THEN EXACT SAME AMOUNT WITHDRAWS ALL OVER MY HISTORY. ONE THAT STOOD OUT WAS A PUT OPTION I HAD UP THAT SAID EXCERSIZED THEN A DEPOSIT FOR 4002.00 THEN A WITHDRAWAL FOR THE 4002.00, NEVER ONCE DID I SEE OR WAS INFORMED MY PUT OPTION WAS EXERCISED.

I WAS TOLD IT JUST EXPIRED OUT OF THE MONEY. SO TOMORROW I WILL CALL AND WHILE ON THE PHONE ASK THEM EXACTLY WHAT THIS IS ALL ABOUT AND WHY DID I NOT GET EVEN A DIME OF THE SOLD PUT? MANY MORE QUESTIONABLE ENTRIES AND EXITS OF THE SAME AMOUNTS LIKE +1600 THEN -1600 AND TGERE IS A LOT OF THEM .

FAIRLY NEW TO STOCKS AND OPTIONS WITH ABOUT TWO YEARS EXPERIENCE ALONG WITH AGGRESSIVE LEARNING HABITS IVE READ UP A BUNCH BUT THIS IS NOT SITTING WELL WITH ME AT ALL. ANY INFORMATION GREATLY APPRECIATED.

I was moved from Scottrade because it was sold and new owner is TD Ameritrade. I was told I could use my Scottrade password. it worked for short time and every thing stopped cooperating. Secret questions stopped working password stopped working. I was on the phone several times trying to get into my account. I find help to fix my problem several times when it repeated. However now they expected me to get in to my account to fix it however for example have a computer with out the keyboard connected some computers write error keyboard missing press any key to continue.

Therefore years go bye and still not able to get into my account however several times a year they send letters. I went to Etrade a much better place I never knew how many things they have to offer its amazing its delightful and none of problems I had at TD Ameritrade TD Ameritrade is next to nothing compared to Etrade. TD Ameriitrade lied about or hide what will happen moving out to Etrade and TD ameritrade charged me $350 moving a stock worth $0.00 or near $0.00001

I think, they think they're the LDS brokers, i not sure, but I spent over 5,000+ on options programs, and they tell me i have to do stocks of a year before I can buy options, so now I loose a bunch of money, because of the day trading rule, because of the limited trades i can make off my other brokers, that I had no problem getting option approval for.

they're costing me alot of money, they think as an old guy I still need a mom or dad, or maybe they don't realize the smoke shop next door is taking millions from people gamming on them eveyday, or maybe just mentally ill.

options only risky if your stupid, you got puts and calls, wow. got to worry about time decay, greeks, earnings, dividends, 100 shares assigned, commonsense things, they reather see me pay 10x that amount to buy a stock.

like on xle 68.66 a share X that buy a 100, or option, covered call spent 2.16 for 60 day trade, est and made a 50% profit, with very little risk, most of these trades i make happen in a day because im so good, maybe they like holding people back.

I don't know, I think they should quit playing mommy and daddy, they can't even fathum the amount of money i've lost because of that.

Was living in the Ukraine when my bank stole all funds, then Russia invaded and most Americans fled country. No prob, I had monies at Scottrade. Until I learned they had stolen all. I managed to return, after three years, with only one dime to name. Then they decided it was not in their interest to continue to withhold my money.

Returned without even apology. No interest, no penalties. Nothing. Just go away. Smiling boy in MAGA hat sueing for $20M. Life never endangered, not abandoned half way round the planet, not robbed. I want same, also from two others who did same.

One of my penny stock accounts was transferred to TD Ameritrade. There was only $89 in the account. I decided to transfer this small amount of money to my other retirement account. When TD Ameritrade transferred the money they charged a $75 transfer fee. So I received a total of $14.

What a ripoff. I have never been charged a transfer fee when moving SEP/IRA accounts.

Matthew Postell has been after me for the last 2-3 weeks to put more money with TD AMERITRADE. After approx 2-3 weeks of intense dialogues with his team I asked him to come in to my desktop and gave him a personal code to do the remote screen sharing to share my personal objectives in even more detail. It was a unique code I had just generated.

Once I shared the code with him and started showing to him the confidential data around my financial plan, I noticed he had shared the code with 3 other individuals. I asked him who else was on the line, he indicated nobody. When I told him I knew there were more people listening/viewing my screen, the other viewers started dropping off the screen sharing session like flies.

Bottomline, if you are looking for a trust worthy advisor, stay the hell away from MATTHEW POSTELL. He will LIE and cannot be TRUSTED. Everybody worked hard for their money and this man will steer you with lies just to get you to invest with TD AMERITRADE. What does this say about TD AMERITRADE? Thank GOD the calls are being recorded, right? They record the calls for THEIR protection, but who is PROTECTING the consumer?

NEVER AGAIN WILL I talk to MATTHEW POSTELL. He lost all his trust. Take your retirement funds to someone who you can trust. Oh and if TD AMERITRADE keeps him on his staff that tells you everything about how TD operates. If they let him go, then I would suggest you NOT to hire him because he will ruin your financial business.

I experienced a bank failure that looks to have been in the making for some time. With that just in time for my December SSA payment, December 02, 2016, my bank TD Ameritrade, decided to close my brokerage, savings, and Roth IRA accounts and with that leave me with only $10 in my wallet and a hotel bill due in 2 days. Just in time for Xmas and also done to accept and hope to keep my 12/2016 US SSA payment. Lovely. Since this was their fault as they said.

In the past their web site is always down for "maintenance", etc. All in all a useless product.

From what I now know, and as I knew then, I was in good standing with them overall and something had been wrong with their accounting. This however was dealt with wrong, they should have allowed me to cash out most or some of the account and then close it. With all of that I had to act and find a place to sleep, and a place to use a computer to have my checks sent to me when they liquidated my account.

The history here is not good and over the course of the last few years in banking with them, behaviours have been odd, they admitted more than once this is their fault. Their accounting systems overall are useless since the ledgers are not atomic. They change, are rewritten, don't update in real time, and are inaccurate.

In doing this, and it was done intentionally to force me to be homeless during the winter and Xmas season in end of 2016, they accepted my December 02, 2016 US SSA payment. Closed the account keeping it from my use. And then claimed they were mailing checks for the balance of the accounts. Not sure you'd want to sit around with this wad of cash like this. In doing that they botched out on other purchases, claimed they closed the debit card when in fact they allowed a later debit to come through over 2 months later from Walmart. Walmart made numerous refunds to the debit card none of which showed up and TD allowed this theft to happen, botched out on two other Visa disputes, and with that partook in and enable more theft of my monies. Then they admit that again saying it makes no sense. I agreed again.

Dialogs on the phone had them be verbally abusive, condescending, accusing me of things, making slurs, being harassive, dishonest, telling me they sent a product such as a debit card when it had not been sent, same thing with checks to close the account. I had to call them over and over again. At one point 3 times a day for 7 days to get a debit card replaced, each time I was lied to. Some of this is US SSA's fault since they should have closed them off as of 12/2016. This problem malingered for two more months forcing me to deal with these felons longer than I needed to of course. Money went to them and they needed to issue me new checks from TD and I had to cash those checks. INSANE!!!

If you are banking there and they have not been closed up by UST then I'd say get out now and run!

These people are PATHETIC!!

TD Ameritrade is an awful and greedy company that has an overzealous compliance department that doesn't take into consideration that they are dealing with people's livelihoods.

I signed up for an account in July. I was dissatisfied with the international wire fees of my old bank, and I was sold on TD Ameritrade's sales material that explicitly advertises their cash services, I also wanted to try to get involved with trading. Their advertisements read, "No ATM fees" and "Why settle for multiple bank accounts when you can have the flexibility to trade, invest, spend and pay bills from one TD Ameritrade account. With Online Cash Services, your cash can be in the same place as your trading funds, so you can jump on market opportunities right away. Plus, you can move money between accounts and pay bills, quickly and easily."

The first week was great. Their branding, and organization was impressive to me, and their customer service was great, however now I'm pretty sure that during their new account stage you talk to a different department that is ultra helpful and happy.

I set up direct deposit with my company, and upon the deposit of my paycheck, I attempted to wire a percentage of the deposit to an international bank account in my name (I live part time in Mexico). I was told that their compliance department had refused my transfer, they couldn't give me any more information. They knew nothing, but that the decision was final, and the funds could only be moved back to the account of origin (my payroll company).

It took 5 phone calls to find out that new accounts can't mail checks, send wires or initiate ACH's for 60 days to anywhere domestic or international what so ever. My money was essentially held hostage. Let this be a warning to anyone, any money that you put into your account for the first 60 days can only be used for trading. They don't tell you this anywhere! What that meant is that the only solution they had for me was to send my paycheck back to the payroll company (the account of origin). Which means no paycheck for 3 to 4 days to ACH back to my payroll company plus another 3 to 4 days for my payroll company to process it plus another 3 to 4 days for me to receive a paper check. Potentially 12 days, before I receive my paycheck. Frustrating, but I'm able to look past it.

I requested a debit card as they encourage you to do on their website. In response to my debit application I received an email that said, "a business decision has been made to no longer extend checking and/or debit card privileges to you at this time We are unable to provide further details." I thought, okay not a big deal. The only part of their cash services that are important to me are international wires for when I'm in Mexico.

So I waited the 60 days. I was told that after the 60 days the new account restrictions would be lifted.

My second direct deposit, occurred after the 60 days had elapsed, and I had successfully completed a total of 3 direct deposits and 3 partial international wire withdrawals without trouble since then. I did call to babysit these transfers, as I had lost some confidence from my previous experience.

My 4th direct deposit was received, I initiated a partial outbound wire at 8am central time. (these were partial withdrawals because I was trying to save a bit each check to trade with). This time I can see that the wire was just sitting and not actually being sent. So I call them to check on it and they tell me not to worry, it will be sent momentarily. I call back a couple of hours later, because it was getting close to their close of business for wires. The representative tells me it will be sent in literally 3 minuets. I asked the representative, if I could wait on the phone until it was sent, because I've been promised the same thing so many times, and it keeps not being sent. I was nervous because I had 5 minuets to make it in time for a same day wire and it was Friday - any problems would mean Monday. He said, okay it says sent and the time stamp is "exactly 2:59pm and some seconds". Then two hours later I get an email that said, "we were unable to wire your money "because REJECT." This is at 4pm on Friday. I call back for an explanation, and they say their going to have to send the money back to my payroll company on Monday. They could give me no information except for a "business decision has been made".

That same day, I notify my payroll company that TD Ameritrade will now be refusing direct deposits, and I provided them with my new information.

My 5th direct deposit was received. My deposit wasn't able to be adjusted in time, and the change wouldn't go into effect until the next pay period. I call and they tell me that they will call me back in a couple hours to see what they can do. I never received a call back, so I called back. The manager said that nothing could be done until Monday. The manager says that they have emailed compliance, and heard back that they will be able to wire the funds into a like-titled domestic account. So, I say great, I give them all the information for my bank, and they say it should go through shortly.

30 minuets later I got a call from a different manager and he says, "I'm just calling to let you know that in 24 - 48 hours we will sending your funds back to your payroll company, our compliance department has decided that we can't send the funds to a like titled account, because you were alerted of this problem in June, and we've made a business decision in June. You should already know that we wouldn't accept direct deposits" I asked them, "how did you notify me". He said, "through our messenger service." I said, "great then you have a copy of the email, can you read me the message that was sent?". He reads me the email from above that I received in response to my debit application that read "business decision has been made to no longer extend checking and/or debit card privileges to you at this time We are unable to provide further details." I try to explain that the email says nothing about direct deposits, or wires, not to mention the previous 3 wires were successful. Why wouldn't you give me any warning so I can avoid the deposits in the first place?

If it is not a compliance issue, but rather a business decision. Why couldn't they make an exception due to the fact that they didn't communicate the problem, nor did they give me enough time to fix the problem. They truley displayed a lack of humanity and absolutely poor customer service

In conclusion I would advise anyone considering doing business with TD Ameritrade to reconsider due to the following considerations.

- Will you need access to your money in the first 60 days?

- After the first 60 days, are you comfortable that they still may hold your money hostage without any explanation beyond "it's a business decision".

- Is it okay if a simple straight forward same day wire may end up taking 3-4 days?

- Will any of your investment money be used to purchase a house, or other purchase where the swift retrieval of liquid assets is imperative?

- Do you want to have to babysit your brokerage to call you back before the close of business.

If your answer to the above questions are NO, heed this warning to look elsewhere as this company does not take financial transactions seriously and they don't understand the concept of time being of the essence. Do you want to have to worry that your money is actually being sent, or that you'll actually have access to your funds when you need them?

If you think your investments are safe with TD Ameritrade, Inc, www.tdameritrade.com, think again! This company hires the most unseasoned and untrained brokers with BAD CREDIT and COLLECTIONS issues to manage your money. As a matter of fact, the brokers are so bad at managing their own money, you should beware of seeking any investment advise from them for your own accounts.

Peter Lovberg with TD Ameritrade in the San Diego, CA office is a perfect example of this. this guys and his wife (Patricia Lovberg), continualy seek for opportunities on how to defraud creditors themselves.

I recently recevied a call as a reporter about Peter Lovberg and what he did to a company when him and his wife were looking for assitance to rent BECAUSE BOTH of their credit is so deplorable with multiple creditors and landlords with balances owed to them, they recently tried to defraud the one company willing to help them. They picked up keys withour paying the first month's rents and then claimed 'it was so confusing for them'.

Quickly the company cancelled the move in and proceeded the following monday after the weekend to issue a refund for the amount of $1910. Peter Lovberg signed a refund agreement on Monday May 6, 2016, received a confirmation via email from the credit card processor and the company the refund was completed. On the email, it stated to allow 4-5 business days for the refund to post back to the issuing credit card and if they were any questions to email or call the customer service number on the ermail.

Soon as the Refund was processed, Peter Lovberg proceed to call his bank and do a "i dont recognize the charge' dispute with Wells fargo Bank for a change he obvioulsy knew he did when he signed the payment receipt and the refund invoice. Now the company is out an additional $1910 in dispute because Peter Lovberg with TD Ameritrade, aka 'your truted broker' is so Shady AND DEPERATE FOR MONEY (( this includes your accounts at Ameritrade, people )), he willing to file a fradulent claim at the bank in an effort to obain DOUBLE the money he paid this company back to his debit card at Wells Fargo Bank.
