This company is very unprofessional and misleading.

I applied for a Refund Anticipation Loan and received an email back implying I was accepted. I also contacted them and they stated I would be receiving the loan within several business days. Of course I never received any money and they sent another email saying they were filing my taxes. I advised them I do not want them to file but they said I signed an electronic form and they will be filing my taxes.

I tried to be patient and talk to another representative but he hung up on me after providing no information at all. I then called back and asked for a manager or supervisore but again was hung up on .

I have looked them up and they have been doing this to people for years. I already contacted the IRS to make sure I wouldnt be penalized when they file because I file with a legit company. The IRS advised me to file a form against their company which I have sent.

So sad this company takes advantage of people and has no customer care at all.

Fraud!!

This company is definitely a rip off and even though I didn't esign the agreement they keep continuously sending me I am still afraid they may file my taxes so I will be filling out a form with the IRS about the situation and put a fraud alert with them so that if they file my taxes without my consent the IRS will be alerted. All their numbers direct you to the same people and they are rude and will hang up on you. They don't reply to emails nor will they connect you to a manager. The whole business is shady and I don't understand how they survived this long with the shadiness. I strongly advice NOONE to use this fraudulent company! I pray they don't file my taxes.

I applied for a "RAL" with Taxnet Financial mid-December. I then received an automated email from them indicating that I was denied for the Refund Anticipation loan for potentially 1 of a varied of reason listed; however, my situation did not apply to any of the reasons listed. They do not consider credit, and I have also called the offset program to be certain that this was not the reasoning for the adverse decision on my RAL. I owe nothing to the IRS at this time, and more than qualify for EIC, which I will be getting around 5,100 as I normally do. I have emailed the company and called and I have not received a response. THe customer service number advises to call back during normal business hours, but I was calling within normal business hours. When I enter my social on their automated system, it indicates they no information on my social.. I am starting to become highly frustrated and yet concerned. I need to know what has happend to the sensitive information I provided, and I need to know why I am being ignored despite many attempt of contacting this busienss.

Applied for an RAL through Tax Net Financial. They said to expect the deposit. I did not get it.

They charged me $468.00 ($1600/hr) for tax prep, $61.00 refundable RAL fee, and made a $250.00 EIC error. All tolled Tax Net Financial cost me $848.65.

They blamed the IRS. "The IRS refused your direct deposit" and "The IRS withheld that money for past obligations" trying to get around the tax prep fee. And when one girl got mad at me, before I ever got the check, she said "Oh yeah, I have it right here, you wanna see" ??? I wondered if that was where the erroneous amount of the check came from $2727.65. Or... the day before my birthday and the year I was born. No math can account for this number, SO...I am wondering.

Then I got a letter from their bank that read:

During a recent visit to your tax preparer, you applied for a Refund Anticipation Loan (RAL). Thank you for applying through Republic Bank. However, after reviewing your application, we are sorry to advise you that we cannot grant you a loan at this time for the following reason(s):

Product Not Available-- Application submitted through unauthorized tax preparer

Will attach a scan of this letter. Beware Folks!!!!

This company agrees to a “ral;” however, refuses to complete the agreement and expects you to pay $450 for a $250 “ral.” this is a breach of contract. Anyone looking to file a class action suit with me, please let me know. I will be finding counsel soon.

Please let me know when you do because these people are ridiculous

Fraud

Stay away from them. I have contacted the Attorney general, am filing forms with IRS. This company is pure fraud, they lie about having a manger. Get you to sign for an RAL, force you to continue with them even after you haven't approved you for the loan. They still charge you for $355 tax preparations. Contact the IRS and filing papers on them cause they are filing people taxes with out and W2 and that's consider illegal based off IRS..

Straight up and down fraudulent!!!! I applied for the RAL online through tax net financial twice and I still have not received anything my account as of 12/24/2015. I was approved, i esigned the document that the requested sent it back and still NOTHING!!!! Disbursements where suppose to be deposited by 12/22/15 and NOTHING!!!! Calling is a waste of time. the reps screen the calls, so if you call more than once to follow up on your Infomation, you will definitely get the run around or they will tell you to hang on while they check your account information and then the phone goes dead.

In the contract it states you should receive your RAL deposit within 12 hours, well after being on hold for over 20 minutes someone decided to answer the phone (I guess they got the numerous emails I been sending as well) she states it should be in your account within 24 to 48 hours. Well its been well over 48 hours from the initial 12. It's a shame that companies prey on people who are just looking for some help before christmas. I hope for they sake they don't try to use my information for anything or even try to charge me for anything. I'm closing my account and I'm putting fraud alerts on everything I could think of including....THE IRS!!!! I would not recommend this company to anyone one not even my worst enemy.. Thank for nothing Taxnet Financial!!!...SMFH!!!!

Scam for sure!

I applied for a ral right before the holidays, I assumed I would get it on the 23rd of dec. so I received a email in early jan saying I was conditionally approved for the ral, but not holiday advance and I will receive it once the irs accepts my refund and they needed me to send a copy of my w2 or last paystub, a couple days later I get a copy of my tax return and it says I can put a second review on it before sent. In the mean time I have gotten several emails saying my ral is conditionally approved, I check the irs website and see my taxes were filed were accepted! in the mean time I’ve tried calling and sending several emails just to get no response! The day after I checked the irs site I call to find out when I will receive the $750. She tried to tell me they need my w2 I asked why because my return was already sent out and accepted! She acted like they never filed it, the following day I get a email stating I’m no longer able to receive the ral. They lied thru the whole process. I hope someone puts a stop to them screwing people taxes up! And they should have to pay all fees since everything was a lie by them! They seem great in the beginning of your on line review just till they get you confidential information! I know this was a lesson learned for me!

Time for class action lawsuit! do not use this company! they will lie to you and screw up filing your taxes.

They will not answer their phones or email. If they do, they only have 2 people that answer their phones and they are clueless. They won't help you and tell you that they will pass your message along. I have filed a complaint with bbb. They should have already been shutdown. The good reviews are fake!

  • Feb 6, 2019

Frauds

The same things are happening with me. I wish i had read the reviews before filing with them. They need to be shutdown. I agree LAWSUIT!!

I submitted a return on their website for a rapis refund which Taxnet financil did not give me. They mearly submitted a regular return to the IRS and took $380 out of my return ans sent me $269.00 instead. The charged me for the rapid refund they did not give me. That is totally unfair and they should not be allowed to do that.

In December 2016, I found taxnetfinancial.com. Money was tight and I am a single mother. I had a healthy tax return coming so I figured I would apply for a refund anticipation loan to fund my children's Christmas. BAD IDEA!! I applied online with Tax Net Financial and get this.....I was denied, the reason being.....my anticipated refund amount was TOO SMALL. ironic since I was getting back several thousand dollars. I was not happy, but I continued on with my life thinking that was the end of. Fast forward to late January 2017. I prepared my own tax return as I generally do, and I filed it. A few days later I receieved a notification that my return had been rejected by the IRS because a return had already been filed using my social security number. Panic set in immediately because I had ZERO idea what had happened. After doing some research I learned that Tax Net Financial had gone ahead and prepared my return for me without my signature or authorization. It was not done correctly so it was almost $1,500.00 less than expected and....they took $357.00 for tax preparation fees! Are you kidding me? They kept sending me emails to provide me with a copy of my return, provided I signed the documents. NO WAY! I emailed them back every single time and said I will not sign, I did not authorize this, this is illegal, I want my money back and I want it now. Of course, they didn't comply and now I don't even have a copy of my tax return with which I can file an amendment, thus leaving me now almost $1900.00 short. I was in the process of trying to purchase the home I am now living in with my two sons and because of this, it has been delayed and now may not even happen, which means we may actually end up briefly homeless. THIS IS NOT OKAY! I just want them to make it right and now they won't even respond to me!

I gave them my tax information and credit card information thinking I could get a emergency loan and I was sadly mistaken. Got rejected and now I'm paying $350 for it. It's truely a scam and no one else should be a victim to it. Seems like they don't approve anybody. Im not sure what the rejection part means but I'll never use them again and will bad mouth them for the rest of my life. So after you are rejected the must hurry up and file your taxes with the irs to ensure they get their money . I hope one day they will get caught for taking people's money for a service they can't provide. Class action lawsuit come on!

Run! Most expensive rejection you'll ever pay for

I sincerely thought that this will be a great emergency loan to help me in my time of need only to find out I will be rejected and it will cost me $350 to do so. Very unprofessional company in fact after they reject you they immediately send your information to the irs to ensure that they get their money . I don't understand how a company can take pride in taking people's money for a product they can't provide. I will never ever use them again and I will badmouth them for the rest of my life. No telling how many people they have No telling how many people they have taken advantage of. I look forward to a class action lawsuit real soon because I'm sure there are loopholes
