Tamara Powell, 90's R&B singer Jesse Powell's sister, who is the owner of The Millionaire Movement Incorporated located at 9900 Spectrum Dr. in Austin, TX 78717 is a scammer and a thief. I along with dozens of other investors were promised big returns if we invested with her through our own companies.
She supposedly kept our funds in her business account. She would brag about how the balance was now over $170,000 and more at times. Tamara would post videos of herself on expensive trips, which was always suspicious to me. She was apart of a well known singing group with her sister in the 90's called Trina and Tamara. She used that to promote her various "investment" groups.
To get to the point, I originally invested $375 with Tam aka Tamara on 6/7/2021. She ended up scrapping that part of the group, so I was do a refund that I never received, even after giving an additional $75 to help the group move along. Then I invested $750 twice into the group equaling a $1500 investment. According to Tam, my investment doubled and I was given the option to take the $3000 or invest it all back in.
I invested it all back in. After that I invested another $2000. Because I say other businesses being paid out, I trusted Tam's plan. Little did many of us know that many of the other businesses we thought were being paid out were really just Tam collecting the money in the name of other people and businesses. Slowly she began changing the rules and becoming less and less transparent about the rules and how long thing would take.
