WHENT TO GET A 4 NEW TIRES AND THE INTALLED THE LUG NUTZ WRONG GOT A FLAT TWO DAYS LATER AND WHEN I WENT TO PUT THE SPARE I HAD TO SNAP THREE LUG NUTZ BECAUSE OF THER MSTAKE THEY DID NOT WANT TO COMPENSATEME AND GIVE ME A NEW TIRE WICH IS SUPPOSABLY UNDER WARRANTY. THERES FRAUD WRITTEN ALL OVER AND THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN.
Whent to get a 4 new tires and the intalled the lug nutz wrong got a flat two days later and when i went to put the spare i had to snap three lug nutz because of ther mstake they did not want to compensateme and give me a new tire wich is supposably under warranty. Theres fraud written all over and this place should be shut down.
I found this tire shop by Offer-Up and Craigslist add, the two sources not knowing they were the same gave me the same price on the tire I was looking for. They also had the lowest price compared to several tire shops with same tire brand and similar brand.
On 06/26/2017 I stopped by the Super Llantas tire shop I spoke with manager/owner I showed the price from Offer-Up, they only accept cash. Price was confirmed I looked at the tires brands are Federal Couragia front(275/40ZR20) rear(315/35ZR20) and then paid cash first. The workers doing the work started working on my wheels at approximately 4:30 pm. It was 110 degrees no place to seat and wait. By 8 pm my car was done I was no longer worried.
When I drove home and got on the highway I notice a big difference, now my car vibrates at 60 - 75 + mph. Next day I took it back and ask them to check the tires to see if they are balanced. They only balanced one front tire that did not had any weights and now it has weights which might mean that they forgot to balance it at first. So I leave, thinking that was the problem and as soon I get to the highway still same vibration. I went back to the tire shop and this time I talked to the owner.
The owner started to explain to me that my car needs an alignment and that when you get new tires you always need an alignment. I then told him that alignment and vibration is two different things plus my car does not pull to either side when driving at any speed. I told him that I am not satisfied with the tires they installed and that I wanted my tires balance correctly or to install my old tires back and to refund my money. He then said that I can go get the tires my self if the dumpster truck has not pick them up. Then he said the he will balance the tires but it will be extra cost.
At this point I decided to leave I did not want take it to the next level and deal with this stress. The cost was in the $500 range is not a lot for a set of new tires but is still my money I spent on bad service and tires. I stopped by another tire shop on the way home the guy at the other shop said that he had previous customers with problems with Federal tire brands and that they may have been pirated.
The next day I setup an appoinment with a chain tire shop company. They told me that the problem was the tires, one wobbles and another goes sideways. Further more the tires were not balanced to zero he added. One of the rear tires they added a lot of weights to make it set to balance at zero. He said that since it wobbles there will always be a vibration but that my car should ride better now.
Believe it or not the car drives better on the highway but there is still a little vibration around 75 mph. The workers at Super Llantas they are not competent on balancing tires. The company I decide to go to have fix the problem, they were very informative about the tires they never mention anything about alignment being the problem.
