Sunset Engineering Construction llc is a terrible company, currently owned for non licensed Contractors, they use a third party license. The license of ALEJANDRO MERLANO, same person Paula the owner tries to deny any relation with the company. The true is this people haven't any knowledge related to construction, engineering or architecture.
They unlawfully use the word "engineering", exclusive of licensed Engineers companies in their company name.
They unlawfully advertise Architecture and Engineering services without license to do so. And they use Merlano license to do construction work.
Unfortunatelly in our condominium they were hired by the prior Board president, and we got a big problem. Terrible work quality, totally unprofessional services. In addition, they do not honored the contract amount and claimed almost 100% more, causing us a litigation process and other problems.
They tried to get additional work charging 3 times de real value of the scope of work. They tried to scare us using lies to get more scope of work.
Bottom line, please do not go in business with this people, you will buy only problems. My background is in Architecture, I am a licensed Architect. I am continuously in contact with Construction Companies daily basis because of my profession.
I can tell you the quality and professional conduct of General Contractors. I never saw such negligency in a construction company.
