On November 19, 2022 I purchased Chris Rock/Dave Chappelle tickets listed as section P for San Diego. I live in Los Angeles, once I paid and received my tickets they arrived showing WCP not just section P. They forwarded as co-conspirators tickets with the wrong original description. I called immediately and spoke with Chanel who admitted the information was posted with the P and the tickets showed up with a WCP which she said would be corrected in 72 hours. I gave them 72 hours and was not contacted so I called again and spoke with another phone operator who mentioned they were going to refund or find me tickets at no additional cost just as Chanel advised. I called 3 additional times within a week and 2 days. I filed a case with Paypal and the BBB, they contacted the BBB with a reply, (I will forward on request) that they would kindly help me if I cancel the case with Paypal, (with knowledge I can't refile the case after canceling).

This was a clear Bait and switch and I could call it other things as well that would warrant actions. The tickets arrived (not as subscribed) period. To date I have not heard from them about my tickets because as they express they are a third party which others sell products on? Question (If someone falsely advertises something on your site and you receive a fee/commision for services you're not responsible as well. I would wonder if con-conspirators get the same options? DO NOT CANCEL YOUR CASE WITH PAYPAL, THEY ASK YOU TO DO THIS TO LIMIT OPTIONS WHILE THEY ALLOW THE CLOCK TO RUN OUT AND THEN HAVE THE UPPER HAND!

I sold tickets for Music Man show for Nov 3rd. It is now 2 weeks later and I still haven’t gotten paid.

Every time I call customer service (which you have to Google the number because it is NO WHERE on the app) they have some excuse or they say give it another day. I got an email saying the payment processed on Nov 11th, but it has never shown in my bank.

I called today, and at first they were give it another day (today is the 17th…it doesn’t take that long for a payment to show in a bank!) I then asked to speak with a supervisor (my 2nd time to speak with one) and I was told there was a problem with the payment and now it’ll take 13 more days to see my money!

Every time I speak to anyone there they sound flat like they are reading from a script and don’t care about the issues of getting the matter solved, they got the money and we are just out of luck!

I posted season LSU tickets and a parking pass for the NM LSU game. They sold without a problem. Fast forward and I did the same process for LSU/Alabama game. We sold pdf of parking pass which I uploaded. The purchaser was a "high volume" resaler and I was called to ask if I would send the actual parking pass. I said I would try to do that. I called them back within the hour and said I was having trouble locating the actual book with the tickets and pass. They told me the pdf couldn't be used and I told them to check New Mexico game I had sold 30 days prior and they verified there was no problem. I told them I had listed it as a pdf and not in hand. They changed my listing to in hand and canceled the sale and won't relist now that I couldn't UPS the actual parking pass. OK, deep breath - that is $200 down the drain. I go to check the tickets that are listed with barcodes and they have listed those as in hand and the sale is "pending" and not active. I'm uncertain as to why doing this exactly the same way as the last tickets sold is now causing about $1,000 to go down the drain. And, unfortunately, due to a move this week, I am unable to find the actual tickets now and am totally out of luck according to stubhub. They changed my listing and are saying I can't sell these items the way I was able to 30 days ago. It has been quite frustrating. We won't use them again to sell tickets or parking passes for the games.

I was supposed to receive mobile transfer tickets but received PDF tickets instead, I purchased 2 tickets and received 10 (the 8 additional tickets were somewhat marked through). This concerned me. I called customer service (I spoke with rep Eanna E. the entire 2 hours I was on the phone) and they had me send the PDF of the tickets I received. She said she could not believe someone would send this and she has never seen this before and she was trying to call the seller but they did not answer. She said she was going to reach out to try to get me replacement tickets or a refund.

After a long wait she had me check my email and she had sent me what they called “fixed tickets” which was 2 PDF files, each containing one of my tickets from the PDF file I sent them. Customer service had been very polite up to this point, but that changed. When custom service sent me the PDF tickets the first question I asked was do the tickets need to be printed and I was advised yes they do need to be printed. I told them I don’t have access to a printer and purposely ordered mobile transfer tickets for that reason. I had already read in several places on the StubHub website that PDF tickets should be printed because all venues will not accept a PDF ticket from your phone.

I asked if there was anyway they could provide me with any type of mobile transfer tickets because that is what I ordered and I just wanted what I ordered. I was told no they could not do that. I asked if they could provide a refund so I could go back and order tickets that were mobile transfer and they said no. I was upset because I did not receive what I ordered and they told me it didn’t matter because they were charging the seller and that I had tickets to get in so there was nothing they will do to help me. I reiterated that I had no access to a printer and did not feel secure with the tickets because I also had access to the additional 8 tickets that were sent with my tickets (which means anyone else who bought tickets from this seller has access to my tickets as well).

Customer service then said that their sources are saying I can use the PDF tickets on my phone and they don’t have to be printed, I told them about seeing on the StubHub site about PDF tickets should be printed and they said they don’t know what else to tell me and there is nothing they will do, the tickets will work and the only options I have is to either go or sell the tickets. I told them the tickets were for my daughters 14th birthday and I was going to have to drive about 2.5 hours to get to the concert and I’ve very concerned that we will not be able to get in and just wanted secure tickets but they said the tickets will work and I can either go or sell them. I ended up selling the tickets as PDF and uploaded the “fixed tickets” sent to me by StubHub customer service and I ended up taking almost a $50 loss.

Also since I won’t receive payment from the tickets until 5-8 days after the concert I can’t afford to purchase new tickets to take my daughter to the event. I can’t believe something so simple turned out so horribly. Just being curious I looked and was able to very easily remove the black markings for the other 8 tickets so anyone who received that file had all 10 tickets that could be printed and used, including my 2 tickets!

I purchased Jackson Browne/James Taylor tickets from StubHub currently scheduled for August 19, 2021. The order number was *****. On June 13, 2021, StubHub sent me a Replacement Offer. The offer said that my tickets were no longer valid but I could get replacement tickets if I notified StubHub. I called Stubhub. I called the number on the email and was told that the new tickets would be on the website by July 1 and that I would get an email. I received no email about the tickets.

I tried to access the tickets and my account says I sold some Jackson Browne/James Taylor tickets, Order no. **************. I did not sell my Jackson Browne/James Taylor tickets. StubHubmade some sort of mistake. StubHub is asking me to upload the tickets I "sold" according to StubHub. I never received any tickets.

I tried calling StubHub but there was a three hour wait to talk with someone. I wrote StubHub a letter that StubHub received August 9, 2021. The letter explained the situation and asked for my tickets. StubHub is yet to respond.

I have been a long time stubhub buyer and seller up until today, since they have refused to refund my money on two events we were planning to attend at redrocks, co which has postponed one event a year later. The other is cancelled but again they wont refund me. Its sad that during a pandemic they choose to stab the lifeline of their business in their back by taking such an unethical approach, but thank goodness for the attorney general, Scamion and other means of hitting them where it hurts as a last resort because they deserve it!

I will also put this out to the press and my 420,000 followers online to ensure the word gets out!

Anyone else who wants to sue them you can do it here

  • Apr 13, 2020

Tickets to event was purchased in Feb. Policy agreement stated if event is canceled a full refund or credit will be provided. After the event was postponed, Stubhub changed their refund policy to only offer a credit good up to 1 year. It is fine to change the policy going forward, but Stubhub is applying the policy to previously completed agreements. Just saw a class action lawsuit has been filed in WI.

While many companies are adjusting their refund policies to help customers, Stubhub is alienating it's customer base and will define its future on these decisions.

I purchased 2 event tickets from Stubhub 3 weeks prior to event. Confirmation sent, tickets sent to my mobile phone. Stubhub charged my credit card AND THEN cancelled tickets 48 hours prior to event WITHOUT notifying me.

I checked into hotel, I showed up at event that evening: NO tickets! They cannot (or will not) tell me who is responsible for cancellation or why tickets were cancelled. I want reimbursement for tickets AND hotel. Stubhub refuses.

I will never use Stubhub again.

WARNING FOR ALL STUBHUB SELLERS!!!! STUBHUB has the worst customer service policy !!!!

ITS A LONG STORY BUT I WILL TRY TO MAKE IT SHORT...I SOLD 2 TICKETS THROUGH STUBHUB FOR THE WHO CONCERT TONIGHT AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL 10/24

I accidentally listed the tickets as seat numbers 107 and 109 when in fact they were seats 109 and 110 (dumb mistake I know but easily corrected if given the chance). The tickets sold very fast on Stubhub and they processed payment to me. I went to the StubHub support/help page to try to call them or email them about the error but of course there is no place on their website that has an email contact form or phone number. I figured that it wasnt a big deal since the person who bought my tickets would be getting 2 tickets NEXT to each other anyway in the Section that they wanted instead of one seat in between them as listed.

So now I get a CHARGEBACK from StubHub for the full price of the tickets PLUS a PENALTY charge of $58.40 !?! I am of course furious at this so I find the phone number for StubHub (not on their website but from Google) and call customer service and end up talking to their supervisor DAYNE K. for almost an hour explaining the situation.

In the end DAYNE informs me that even though the tickets that I sold on Stubhub are perfectly valid tickets and the buyer of those tickets NEVER called into Stubhub to complain about the seats listed were 107 and 109 and he/she received 109 and 110 - since I entered the wrong seat numbers that they have NO CHOICE but to charge me back for those tickets proceeds AND assess me a PENALTY on top of the chargeback!!! They charged me almost $60 penalty for my listing error even though the end customer must have been thrilled to see that they actually ended up getting 2 seats together.

This Dayne K. guy at Stubhub refused to listen to me and just basically told me that policy is policy and that I should have known better when listing the tickets. Again its not like the person who bought my tickets called into StubHub to complain about the listing error...they didnt! Stubhub just saw an "opportunity" to screw over one of their sellers for my typo in the listing so Stubhub just charged back my credit card the price of the tickets and the penalty fee and it went to their bottom line profit! I was honestly shocked (and still am) that I could not get a resolution to this problem and of course plan to go to my credit card company to dispute the charges as well since they are 100% fraudulent and just plain old WRONG !!!!!

If anyone at StubHub including their CEO cares about their customers and turning a wrong into a right, I encourage them to get in contact with me

Stubhub embarrasses me in front of the little on and made her cry

I will never use stubhub again and you should not either. On july 24, 2019 the little one wanted to see jojo siwa at the prudential center in newark, nj at 7 pm. Her mother asked if i can by the tickets online line for the 7 pm show. Since i knew this is someone that the little one loves, i thought it would be the perfect surprise for our 6-year-old. They rushed to newark to get there for the 7pm show and i ordered the tickets through stubhub and paid $87.75 for 2 tickets. I was so happy to get tickets and to know she was going to see one of her favorite performers. After waiting 10 minutes for the download to come to my email i called stubhub to inform them of the problem. After i started to get the run around and put on hold, i decided to order another set of tickets. For now, 99.00 because the show started and i did not want them to miss the show.

During that time, stubhub was able to forward my first set of tickets to me they approached the entrance they final got to the person scanning the tickets and while they were a little late, when their tickets got scanned, they were told in a loud voice, your tickets are illegal, step to the side. How embarrassing this was to mom, not only did it give the impression she did something illegal to everyone else in line, the child had to hear it, and she started to crying. Stubhub sold the same seats to someone else also. I called stubhub again and was pissed of that we hurt megan because she was not being allowed in the venue. They were now trying to find new tickets, also the 99 dollar tickets did not work either. Because the misses did not want to miss the entire show she went to the box office to buy some tickets. Stubhub final got some working tickets but it was too late. When it was all said and done, they saw the last 42 minutes of the show.

So what happened, i called stubhub back knowing that a record phone conversation was on my file and they had to fix this, wow, i never heard any company treat a customer so rude and blamed the whole matter on me, i was so upset i thought my head was going to explode. I finally asked if they had children and if they went through what my family did, how would they feel. This hit a nerve and they agreed to refund the money, don’t forget this started by them selling me tickets that was also sold to someone else as well. I received 7 emails say i would receive a full refund for the 87.00 and the 99.00 dollars, but i had to speak with 3 supervisors to get that.

After finally getting the 99.00 refund, i am still waiting for the 87.00 refund, every time i call to find out when i am getting it, they tell me that they will do it now. They keep lying to me they never did it in the first place. I work hard for my money and this all started by stubhub not me. Then to add more insulting comments and actions. I received a refund of $1.92.

I finally called again yesterday and said that i am fed up and tried of the lies. I am going to the attorney general’s office and file a complaint this is a matter of principle. What happen i was told again, they will process the refund and i received another email saying i will get it in 5 days, well no more emails, now i am taken action.

So to concluded this is what i got from stubhub:

A loss of $87.00

An upset 6-year-old who thought and heard her parents did something illegal

An embarrassed mother

Missed the more than have the show

High blood pressure from the stress stubhub had but the family though

Having to take the time to write this

How am i going to handle this?

Put this statement on their website

File with the better business b

File a ftc complaint

File a report with [email protected]

Make comments on yelp

File with planet feedback website

File with the new jersey attorney general office

File with pissed consumer website

Put my complaint on twitter

Put my complaint on facebook

Let’s see what happens now, i will feel much better informing the world how stubhub made a 6-year cry.

I feel COMPLETELY ripped off after making a recent ticket purchase with StubHub! The 'Section' area of the description and ticket receipt said '3 Day General Admission'. When I read this I thought I was buying a 3-day pass to this event. I just spent $200 USD on a one-day event ($260 CAD) for tickets that cost $99 for one-day on the official Movement, (event website) presently. I called and asked for my money back and was denied by an incompetent Customer Service Rep that would not reasonably admit that the description that was advertised was manipulatively created to look like a 3-day pass. There is NO VALUE in spending twice the amount for an event that is not sold out. I make sure to tell all of my friends, colleagues, and family to never use your fraudulent company again!

For a VC backed silicon valley tech giant your cheap overseas customer service shows the gross hubris of your organization. You scumbags should be employing Americans, and this is coming from a Canadian. Disgusting.

  • Apr 24, 2019

Stub Hub needs to be sued and a class action suit brought against them. They withdrew $224 out of my checking account without any sorta if explanation what so ever. One would like to think if you are a honest business and take money from your customers bank account that you would also provide proper documentation as to why. If for any reason you do not you should be charged by law for theft and Immediately shut down. I assure you if I stole $224 from Stub Hub without cause they would charge me.

I was overcharge for ticketd to the show at Ruth Eckard hall and was not told that I I am paying more that the face value of the tickets. The site directed me to purchase these tickets making me thinnk they were thru Ruth Eckard Hall and charged me 336.36 for a pair of $78 tickets.

Hi, i bought 2 tickets from stubhub South Africa and they promised me to get the tickets numbers before the end of February, as i got confirmation from their online agent and then i discovered that they dont have the tickets in hands yet and they are waiting for the seller so after they got the money.

They start to play me around and they saying now that you must wait until may or june.... the strange thing that there is no office for them here in south africa and they are working in hidden places, i regret my self why i bought the tickets because i paid from my credit card alomost 3500 rand and the tickets are for my agent in pretoria ... i wish to call their company but there is no company office here or even phone number .

I am very depressed and down how they treat people and panicking for the ticket numbers because my customer phoning every day '' did you receive the tickets numbers'' ? beacuse he want to register with his wife and go for a holiday to russia , but what a bad luck ?

  • Feb 26, 2018

Stub Hub posted erroneous information on their website which induced me to purchase tickets for an event that same evening. If I had not double checked the event with ticketmaster I surely would have shown up to the cancelled event.

I informed Stub Hub and they told me I could relist the tickets but that THEY WOULD NOT REFUND.

I asked how could I relist the tickets to an event with no future date. They said i couldn't, I would just have to wait.

I explained that I did thousands of dollars worth of business with them.

No dice...

They had inaccurate information on their website and suckered me into buying tickets for a nonexistent event.

All I wanted to do was reverse the transaction.

Warning: Never use Stub Hub and take their website at face value.

AVOID ALL BUSINESS with Stubhub.

Stubhub has predatory policy to exploit unwary sellers & profit from their mistakes. They take 10% for tickets sold, but extort sellers for 40% penalty if they make an error in the listing. Buyers either get 100% refunded or new tickets if their order is canceled. Stubhub makes 30% more on canceled sales. Their means for communicating debt is also unfair - they email to notify sellers of exorbitant cancelation fees, but reply “as you can probably tell from this automated response, no one is checking email sent to this address” if you try to email them. Unfair one-way street.

I listed tickets & made a mistake on the date I was going to be able to deliver the tickets. I wish I was perfect, but humans make mistakes. Tickets were sold before I caught the mistake. Emotional and upset, I had to cancel immediately. I though it was my only course of action. Got an email from collections agency a few months later. This was the First time I gained knowledge of the debt. All stubhubs emails were going into SPAM. Along with 300 other spam emails I get a day. No written mail letter or phone call. Unfair.

Chatted with an agent online. Was told “had you contacted us prior [to them sending my debt to collections], we [stubhub] might have been able to help". I didn’t contact them earlier because I hadn’t seen the spam filtered emails! She promptly hung up the conversation and i haven't been able to communicate with them since (reached out via email, phone, twitter, chat). I reached out to them in everyway possible, but they refuse to communicate. Unfair and RUDE!

My human error of listing the wrong delivery date will now go on my credit report for 7 years and will probably cost me THOUSANDS on a loan / mortgage. Stubhub doesn't care.

Reviews say it all. They don’t care about sellers, only profits. Don't risk doing business with them.

Yelp: 2/5 - goo.gl/Rvw19J

1/5 in customer service - goo.gl/Uc4nDD

customeraffairs.com: 1/1 - goo.gl/QHykk3

SUMMARY:

1. Stubhub has predatory fees. They are profit MORE when a seller cancels a sale (40% fees) vs. if the sale had gone through (10% fees). They are therefore incentivized to have have sellers cancel sales because they gain more.

2. Their commucication is unfair. They will ruin a sellers credit by selling debt to a collection agency before trying to properly communicate with that seller. They only email sellers, but when i try to email them they respond that emails aren't checked. Unfair one way street. Are they not capable of calling or sending post mail to communicate a seller's debt? No... they'd rather send the debt to a collection agency and ruin the sellers credit for 7 years.

3. Stubhub will stop communicating with if you complain even once. Worst customer service.

I sold tickets(first time) to Nick Cannon's live show October 2017 successfully on StubHub (received confirmation that tickets were received) for face value. I was so excited that I was able to receive some of my funds back (minus processing fees) and the tickets were sold within 24 hours.

I received an email wiithin days from StubHub stating that "the buyer let us know that they were unable to gain entry" and that I had a list of options that I could do to help resolve this issue. I acted immediately, called the venue for the scan report, and attempted to contact the agent Ashley listed.

The UIC Pavillion of Chicago agreed to pull the scan report and get me the information needed; they never called back so I called again and spoke with a young lady who said the report was on Matt's desk and that she could summarize and send to me via email. I received and forwarded the email to Ashley (StubHub). No response; so I called only for Ashley to complain that she has been sick which is why she has not returned ANY of my calls and emails. She went on to ask me how does she know that I did not "manufacture" the email from UIC? What? I am calling as a consumer, folllowing up as an adult, and know my information is scrutinized? Ashley went on to defend the Buyer by saying that someone was in their seats and they had to purchase new tickets. SO THEY WERE GIVEN ACCESS??? Ashley said I needed to NOW prove that no one was sitting in their seats when they gained entry. IMPOSSIBLE! But, I tried and tried to no avail; the UIC Pavillion was insulted by the request and although I reached out to and received help from Ticketmaster, StubHub continues to hold the claim against me and has now forwarded the claim to a collection agency.

I called today and was asked if I had anything new to show and my issue was the lack of follow up and credence given to my claim and the information provided. I proved that the tickets were valid and received AND that the guests were given access. Now, it seems that they were quite late to a live show and I had EXCELLENT tickets so could it be that someone was in their seats when they arrived, maybe but GET AN USHER...this is not my debt.

I had sold a pair of tickets for $171 through Stubhub for the Trans Siberian Orchester at the Giant Center in Hersey PA in December. Three days after the event I get emails stating that the buyer was denied entry and my credit card was being charged the orignal selling price plus $104.50 selling error.

I contacted the Giant center for the barcode reports and was told that the report only shows the accepted and denied times. This is what Stubhub asked for and this only proves that the buyer was denied. There is nothing to prove the seller, me, did nothing wrong.

I know I did nothing wrong other than selling through Stuhub, but I do not know what happened after I sold them. Either the buyer allowed to be duplicated (were they hacked) or they gained valid entry and then proceded to get a re-entry ticket (for smokers) and try to have the tickets re-scanned to show denied entry. The timing on the scan shows it could have been done.

I provided everything they asked for, only to be told and charged that I was at fault. This was the first time I ever sold tickets on line and will not do it again. I also will not buying from Stubhun also.

Just an FYI, they will supply a phone number to call "your" representive that is in charge of your case in the email, but they never answer and never call back when a meesage is left.

Stubhub may protect the buyer but never the seller.

  • Dec 13, 2017

I sold tickets through StubHub to a broadway show that I could not attend.

I purchased these tickets from TicketMaster, they were 100% valid. I uploaded valid tickets to their system after sale. After show, buyer opened up dispute saying tickets were invalid. StubHub asked me to provide receipt of purchase from TicketMaster (which I supplied in less than an hour) and scan report from venue.

While I was still trying to obtain scan report from venue, two business days after dispute was opened my credit card was charged $5,200 for cost of tickets and all sorts of penalties/fees and email stated that when scan report was sent that they would "reopen" dispute.

I later sent scan report I got from venue to StubHub which stated tickets were successfully scanned once and then tried a second time and came back as already scanned. Either buyer allowed tickets to be duplicated or what is more likely they are trying to scam the system by using the tickets to get into the theatre and then they or had someone else scan them a second time so they could "cry foul" and get their money back.

When I sent scan report that my tickets were validly scanned originally I thought I would be "exonerated" and get my money back. Not only am I still charged, I can't even a response from StubHub as I have contacted four times over the last 12 days including with the scan report and have rec'd no response whatsoever.

Basic evidence in this case:

1. I have sold hundreds of tickets through StubHub over the years (I have season tickets to several sports teams and have games I often don't use) and NEVER ONCE provided tickets that were invalid

2. These tickets were 100% valid and I provided StubHub with receipt that shows I purchased them from TicketMaster

3. I provided all evidence that was asked of me once dispute was opened

4. I DID NOTHING WRONG in this tranaction, I sold and provided valid tickets, and did everything that was asked of me before, during, and after transaction

5. After providing all evidence, StubHub will not return any of my communication attempts.

As I stated I DID NOTHING WRONG, I provided 100% legitimate valid tickets for this event, they have no evidence to prove otherwise (there isn't any) yet I have been charged $5,200 and can't even get anyone at StubHub to respond to me despite providing evidence that proves my case.

These are extremely improper business practices. I did nothing wrong, did everything that was asked of me, and I am out over $5,000 and can't even get StubHub to return an email. How are businesses allowed to do this??

  • Jul 11, 2017

Stub Hub has become a giant scam. You click on tix that say you'll receive electronic download. Then after you pay they send you a note from stubhub saying you will receive voucher day of concert. The reason I paid all the extra money to stubhub was so I didn't have to wait until show, as we are flying in for a concert. They confirmed with me that if I didn't have my downloaded and printed tickets when promised by their site, I would "definitely get a full refund," agent said. Total lie. Total scam. When informed I would only receive voucher day of concert I demanded money to which they refused- claiming they were honoring their guarantee by insuring I would have tickets for show. I paid $211 for $75 face value tix in order to not deal with the hassle. Stubhub customer help are all angry impatient people trained in their scamming ways. I will never use them again.

  • Dec 22, 2015

At some point in the past, StubHub saved my credit card information. I don't remember agreeing to it, but it is possible I may have agreed to it. By doing that, apparently I became a one-click user of their site without actually requesting that or agreeing to that. So I was browsing tickets recently and clicked on the tickets to see what they would cost with fees and taxes included. On that screen I must have accidentally clicked on the one-click payment and next thing you know I have an email saying I have purchased $1300 in tickets. I never intended to purchase these tickets. Worst case, I thought I was going to be brought to a screen were I would confirm or enter my credit card 3 digit security code.

I immediately (within SECONDS) opened a chat window and asked them to reverse it, and they refused. Because of their exorbitant fees on both the buyer and seller, in addition to having to sell the tickets at a loss, this accidental click cost me $600 which I am now protesting with my credit card company.

Stubhub tries to hide behind the mask of "we are just a marketplace... you bought the tickets from someone else and we cannot reverse since the transaction is between you and another person." OK, this is complete and utter nonsense. When they use the word "marketplace", what it really means is that you just got scammed.

First of all Stubhub makes A LOT of money when people make this mistake so they are highly motivated to have people keep making this mistake. Most people will just take the hit and not complain. Essentially they make fees on two transactions (on both the BUYER AND SELLER FOR BOTH) because the purchaser has to re-list the tickets. IF (a big IF) they actually did care, they could institute measures to prevent mistakes from happening. Some examples might be:

1. Have a confirmation screen that warns you that there are ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS even for accidental clicks.

2. Don't offer One-Click for purchases over $500.

3. Have a one hour delay (like Amazon does) to reverse One-Click purchases. They say this is impossible, but is it really? They don't even pay the seller for 5 days!!! All they have to do is withhold the "Congratulations you sold your tickets" email that goes to the seller for one hour and joila, it's fixed.4. For security measure, require any purchase over $500 to respond to a text message confirming the purchase. And don't send the instantly downloadable tickets until the purchase is confirmed.

Bottom line.... Stubhub's policy is in the short term interest of EBay's shareholders but not in the long term interest of customer satisfaction. This is why (in contrast to Amazon) pretty much every online review I have read about StubHub is terrible. I am beyond upset that I lost $600 to these crooks. My life mission is to get my $600 back. Feel free to help me if you have suggestions or if you just want to write them on my behalf.

I recently sold 12 tickets on Stubhub.. they make you ship your tickets to the buyer within 24hrs and provide a shipping lable to track. When the customer gets theyr'e tickets they begin the "process" of sending your money.. Here's the catch. They snail mail your paymnt without anyway to track it! It shows "processing" and changes to "check sent" with a date when it was supposibly sent. When the check should arrive and it doesnt they say that the U.S Postal lost it.

Next step is the stop payment and re submit the payment process. this is a Month long ordeal.. I recieved one of my 5 transaction checks. Iv'e called multiple times and they suggest the same thing although this time with a twist... One person says it hasnt shipped even though it shows on the website check sent... One lady said "check sent means processing" What??!! I let her know "processing means processing" and when it switches to sent, "that means sent" She quickly started back tracking.. She said I should open up a paypal account and re start the payment process even though my check were already in the mail????? What a joke! I have sense done so and shocker... The one paymnt i have recieved was the smallest out of the 5 transactions that i had... Also the last transaction.

They say up to 12 business day's.. At this point I'd love to just get half of my money back before the end of the year.. this started in late July and its now September 9th! I just got off the phone with them again and they said i should recieve payment via paypal next week and if not to call back in then! hahahah!

In the mean time she did say they would waive my next service fee! hahah i just want my 2 grand! What a ripoff!

Stubhub will not cancel erroneous orders moments after they are placed. Additionally, they will not allow communication with the seller to resolve the issue.
