In May of 2015, I was a contractor for Status Labs in Austin and saw first hand how they manipualted the press to say that the staff demanded the resignation of Jordan French for calling a Hispanic couple "cockroaches" and and forcing them out of a property they had paid rent on to flip a commercial building and make a fortune. If you believe this then I have a bridge in Brooklyn I want to sell you!
This wasn't Norma Rae with the brave workers standing up for what's right. Darius Fischer and Jordan French orchestrated the stunt as a textbook PR/SEO gambit for "crisis Management" which they advertsie on their site as being masters of and they have used that example hundreds of times since to sell their BS services.
Fact is that both Fisher & French were in on the real estatae chicanry, they both are still owners of Satus Labs and are laughing all the way to the bank as they continue to cash checks from gulliable clients aided by media that is too dumb to know they have been tricked and are still trying New York City real estate tactics in Austin years later and getting away with it.
Someone needs to put the public, and their clients, on notice about these scumbags. Austin isn't Manhatten or LA and we need reputation management firms like we need a hole in the head.
