I would like every one to know what celina weissenborn and her so-called animal rescue is all about.
Celina weissenborn is by all defintions an unfit animal rescuer - she claims to have spent 10 years of her life on rescuing animals and rehoming them as well as providing for them. However, that is not the case. Celina weissenborn, by definition, is an animal abuser as well as a people abuser.
I fostered our dog for her and her so-called organization for over a year - 1 year, 10 months, 1 week and 4 days to be exact until our dog passed away inhumanely Celina did not care to allow us to take her to a vet to be put out of her misery from cancer even though we asked her not once but twice to do so. When we called her, she was more concerned for her computer than she was the wellfare of vida. She also wanted to criticize my husband for "just telling her now" as if she really expected my husband to be a veterinarian while she has the audacity to criticize others and what not but when the shoe is on the other foot, she wants to threaten every one with going to her so-called attorney and saying things like the following:
"i m sorry about vida. I haven't heard from u guys in a few months. She had our phone number and email address, she also had emails for vida as she was wanting to place her on petfinder but nonetheless, that was never updated despite my providing her with the information on vida. She never contacted us at all but she hasn't heard from us...Ya okay. She was not interested in how vida was doing or whether vida needed food or even the basic of vet visits. I will not allow u to call me names n judge me in anyway. I have giving 10 years of my life to the spca n i have encounter people like u many times. People like me foster animals, giving them every thing i can even though we don't have much, we aMy husband and i) spend lots of time on the road transporting without being reimbursed for gas, sometimes going outrageous distances from where we live to well out of state...Seems to me that celina ought to be grateful for people like me as there aren't many that will do what we do and did.) i don't insult anyone n i will appreciate that u never send me n email like this. I will make sure i will keep ur email as well as send it to my attorney.

If you foster, transport or do any kind of animal rescue, please do not be fooled or taken in by celina weissenborn. She does not care about animal wellfare and she certainly doesn't care for people. You will regret trying to help her. Give some other reliable rescue your help. Celina weissenborn and tn spca does not deserve the kind of help that animal people give her.
