I moved here in 1995 and have seen so much hatred for outsiders. I divorced in 2000 and during that time I witnessed the corruption of the police force that commited crimes against many outsiders that the long timers deem as undesireables. I've witnessed tapped communication that includes the US mail. The police refuse to investigate. I have witnesed gangstalking, vandalism, theft, and drug trafficking, that the locals cover up with major assistance from the police and local government. My own phones and internet connections have been compromised and no investigation was considered by the local law enforcement. I put up security cameras and they were stolen. This place looks great and a beautiful friendly community until you have the nerve to say your first friendly "hello" to the wrong long time local and it's a downhill slide from there. All the community participation/friendliness will make you an outsider for the duration of being a south fayette taxpayer. The PTA meetings are really interesting when your first visit to the school is met with glares and whispers and locals refusing to even make eye contact or reply hello. Just know you have been warned and I wish the best of luck to all who desire buying a home and finding that friendly life long investment to raise your families. The latest exhibit of the South Fayette welcome wagon was ransomware emailed to me by the township engineer technician after I complained about a longtimer dumping debris in my yard. Guess what...the police don't get involved in the internet! A coworker crossed the line with a township maintenance man and her septic tank was backed over and she now has plumbing problems. All the talk about bullying and discrimination is alive and well here and it doesn't matter what your income is. I live alone never did drugs, and 1 speeding ticket my whole 60 years. Warning, coffee with the police chief? Make sure you wear your designer bullseye apparel.
