Order a package, which arrived. No information given that stated it was auto shipping another order. Received a notice I was getting another unwanted shipment and tried to get customer service to cancel plan.

The only way to cancel plan was to email. I emailed and heard nothing for days. So I emailed again. In the meantime, second order has charged and shipped!!. When it arrives it is broken into, damaged, the ice has melted, and all of the food product was spoiled.

I contacted customer service for a refund for the product I didn’t order but was charged for that arrived unusable and it was denied. So I issued a dispute since I have received product AFTER canceling and now paid 300+ dollars for product arrived damaged that I had canceled in the first place.

They provided info to my card that it had shipped and delivered so my card refused the dispute. I have re-issued a dispute because it wasn’t just that the order shipped and delivered it arrived completely unusable. They refused to give my money back.

Also, they told me no when I called get to the bottom of the problem with the originating charge that because I issued the dispute I can no longer get a refund.

The best part? I only issued the dispute because customer service originally told me they would take care of it and did not. Their entire program/service is terrible, and they claim natural ingredients but they are 100% NOT natural ingredients.

THIS IS A SCAM. They auto sign you up without consent to receive product and then you can’t cancel and they ship you stuff at great expense that you don’t want, and when it arrives damaged they refuse to issue refund.

Also to note: customer service kept arguing with me and interrupting me!!

I have been with Nutrasystem on and off for years. They have food that is room temperature and they have frozen meals. I order it not to loose weight but to make life easier. I received my meals. They are all frozen except the shakes and bars. I live in NYC and my freezer is small. I called them to cancel it. I talked to 3 people. They were all downright rude. The one lady told me their "retention policy”. You have to pay $125 to Canel. I explained all the food did not fit in my freezer. She told me to take each of them out of the box. I had like 50 boxes. And this is right before I had to go to a flight. I work on the plane. This totally stressed me out. Now this is a week after.

My credit card company took care Of this without a problem. Every time I open the freezer they all fall out in the floor because they are not in their box. I had To throw about 7 days of food away.

Stay away from this company. The meals are small. They taste horrible. They claim you pay $12 a day. No. You have to buy other stuff with it. Even a few of the breakfast you have to add eggs. And make it. Nutrasystem’s meals are larger. Taste so much better. I have a culinary degree. I need easy because of my flight schedule and cooking on the road. Even the bars are smaller... You pay a lot more. This place is a scam outfit. And if you live in a studio apt with a studio fridge/freezer this will not work. Why would you want to pay to be treated badly by customer service. They customer service lady actually said I should buy the bars and powder only for the following month instead of cancelling. Was she serious? South Beach Diet company. You have people tell customers this...they would end up in the hospital. I have never dealt with a food company like this. I do them all blue apron. I change to others. No one is below and 8 out of 10. South beach diet is a negative to me. That bad. I wish I could attach pictures of their food. Horrible al around No better words. Stay away.

I signed up for their advertised special 4-week plan with fully prepared delicious meals delivered to your door for men at $12.14 a day for a total with tax of around $335. I didn't notice nor did they obviously advertise that there is a two month commitment for their outrageously expensive and junkie food.

I got my first shipment "Chefs Picks" and it was mostly shakes and candy bars and snaks with a some frozen meals that you could fit into the palm of one hand. When I called to say don't send me any more of this junk they advised that well, we can cancel but we will charge you an additional $125! I went back to the site and saw to my dismay there is as tiny link that says other delivery options and if you chose that suddenly a big page pops up with all the details. If you chose single delivery they want to charge you over $500 for the same package of garbage.

This really is the worst deal I have ever seen. Stay away from this terrible company and food. Diet-to-go is much better, A little more expensive, but way better food and portions and they don't try to trick you into future massively overpriced food.

I ordered the south beach diet online, and received my monthly package on 1/16/18.

I quickly found that the food was very poor quality and has very little taste, often tasting rubbery and stale. There was no dry ice to keep the frozen food cold - as it states on the package.

They would not allow me to cancel my next shipment online; I had to call customer service.

The woman I was transferred to was condescending from the start.

I was told that I would be charged a cancellation fee of $125.00.

Apparently, this was all in the fine print, terms and conditions. This a very well hidden fee and it is unethical. When I go to their facebook visitor posts, there are many complaints.

I have contacted South Beach to find out how to return the uneaten food for a refund- But I doubt they will do that.

Why charge people $125 to not continue on the diet? I was unaware that there was any charge at all. This is outrageous,

unacceptable, and unethical. Do they know their food is terrible? Is that why they do this?

Along with this report, I have already:

1. Contacted my credit card company to file a disputed claim report.

2. Contacted the State of Pennsylvania Attorney General's office.

3. Submitted the idea to The Today Show for a report on a fraudulent company

I hope that this company will be investigated.

Thank you for being able to file this report.

After 3 days of the diet of tasteless to disgusting food I became ill with severe gas pains and vomiting. Called to cancel and was told there would be no refund and perhaps I could “donate” it. Who donates ineadible food? Same day I was charged an additional $125.00 fee to cover the “discounts” they had given me. There is no way to get out of this program without paying a month ahead. Thought this would be a reputable company. So much for integrity. Guess they would go broke without this money maker! Actually probably have lost weight, the sight of the SBD Boxes in my freezer erases any desire to eat.

I received my $410 order of 30 day supply of South Beach Diet food. Rea with 43 entrees and 25 breakfastding all the papers I discovered I would be receiveing the same order every 21 days and billed to my cc. I didn't know I had signed up for an ongoing program. I only wanted to try for 30 days.

I contacted them to cancel any future orders and was told they would charge me $250 if I cancelled. I couldn't believe it. I had know idea that I had committed myself to a long nterm deal. I was simply trying out the diet plan and might reorder based on results and satisfaction.

I receive a cooler full of frozen dinners 45 entrees and 25 breakfast. Plus various snack bars etc.

I would have never ordered if I had known up front. I an surprised how all these deals on-line are ripping people off.

Dieter beware!

Biggest waste of money ever. The food was truly disgusting. The food is very low quality, with bits and pieces of stems and other unrecognizable things, They do not guarantee their product - you don't like it that's your problem and you're out the $300. And their "week free" with sign up includes signing you up for their auto delivery. Unless you read the "fine" print, you are totally unaware of what you are really signing up for. My husband ordered over the phone and the rep actually told him "cancel whenever you want" without disclosing the $125 penalty. Canceling your order after the first delivery will cost you $125 unless you order $200 more of their nasty disgusting food. Summary: GROSS LOW QUALITY FOOD. No refunds, no guarantees. Automatically signed up for FORCED AUTO DELIVERY which costs $125-$200 to cancel.

Food delivery service that automatically refills each month unless you cancel the refilll. After two deliveries, I recieved an email saying that I would be getting another delivery. I tried to respond to the email to say that I did not want another delivery, but the email kept bouncing back. There was no contact telephone number or email address on the email....apparently in fine print there is a notice saying that in order to cancel your order, you must log into your account. Not knowing my account number, I finally tracked down a customer service number and tried to cancel the order but they said it had already been sent out and could not be returned. I think this is deceptvie and deliberately misleading and I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.

Signed up for auto delivery... customer service never told me that in order to cancel the auto delivery, I'd have to pay an additional $125.. This is outrageous as the food is inedible...

If I had known this information, I never would have signed up... I see there have been other complaints as well..

The food was (mostly) terrible! Needs tons of freezer space! AUTO delivery ... read the fine print ... yes, my mistake, but that is exactly what they are hoping for. The order confirmation mentioned nothing about auto delivery. The email that came in on Mar 2nd while I was out of the country asked if I wanted to change what is in my order. I didn't receive this email, but then on Mar 5th rec'd the 'your order has been received'. I went immeadiately to the website and moved the next delivery out until May and rec'd a confirmation that this had been done. On Mar 7th I rec'd notice that my order is on it's way. After numerous discussions with customer service ... totally uninterested in helping ... was told that is what the 'terms & conditions stated'. So a $324 mistake on my part and they could care less! The order had left their hands 20 minutes before my call. BEWARE!

Buyer beware...prices are not what they seem. They are in the business of attempting to lock you in long term rather than producing a product that customers want to keep using long term. Both my wife and I tried this diet. After 3 weeks of dissappointing results we cancelled before our second order shipped. They went on to charge us $125 each for canceling claiming that we received a 35% discount for auto renewal. Why would we order a product a second time that did not work the first time or pay 35% more for a product that doesn't work. I offered to return the remaining food but they said no refunds on food.

This is a terrible program. The food is terrible. It is expensive. Customer service is terrible. They charge $99 to cancel the membership and never ever tell you about this during the joining process. The information sent contradicts information in their books. Terrible terrible company to work with I lost over 160 pounds on Medifast in the past and know how to work a good program. Southbeach diet is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Anyone would be foolish to get involved with them
