As a freelance videographer, I did two days of freelance work for Risa; no more will I get ripped off from such a con-artist.
When working for her, no tax documents where signed and when I brought up a 1099, she said "don't worry about that. My work is non-profit and does not involve taxes." Suspious, I continued as I drove two hours with equpiment to get to her location.
She seemed satified with my work, although was extremly rude. When asking such questions as "Where do you want me to set-up?" she snapped "Just set it up!".
At the end of it all, I sent her an invoice, which turns out to be much below my market rate for such work ($350/day).
I specifally e-mailed her asking for a check. She replied that she left me a message, apparently outside of the e-mail. I'm still waiting for that. She then made a claim that she paid me via paypal. I informed her that I don't have an account due to hacks. She ignored that. Risa still owes me merly $600 dollars.
I advise anyone reading this to refuse any type of assoication with Risa. Somatic Learning is a unlegitiment practice and her course is a waste of your money and time.
