Sho-Pro of Indiana, Inc. Reviews

  • Mar 1, 2016

I am a 100% Service Connected Disabled Veteran; this issue has gone on beyond a normal time limit to fix these issues.

I have the original contract. Names and date plus pictures to support my claim. I was assured if there were any damage to the wiring a licensed electrician would be sent out. Twice they sent out someone to repair the electric but not a licensed electrician. To date the wiring has not been repaired, I am very concerned about my house catching on fire.

Contract date 11/6/2014 .

These following is a list of the damages. Manager Don Lee promised to repair but each time they came out they caused more damage.

I also have a concern about a statement that was made to me from a manager who said he would send out a couple of women as long as I was okay with their lifestyle. When I asked what he meant he said, well they are the gay girls.

When Sho-Pro's workers drilled the holes to put the foam insulation in the walls, at least a dozen electrical wires were cut to the point they were bare. The inside wiring was not repaired correctly, by Sho Pro. They sent out a person who they claimed was a licensed electricians and he was not.

1. Damaged interior walls;

2. All nails pop on the interior side of the exterior walls from the installation;

3. Damaged yard;

4. Damaged trim, floor and ceiling while re-painting;

5. Damaged siding and had to replace 4-5 pieces;

6. Damaged to the exterior siding with their installation material; and

7. This has not made a difference in the electrical bill.

* Steve, who then worked for Sho-pro, said he would make sure the wiring was replaced and brought up to Indiana code. To date, this has not been done.

Sho Pro sent representatives out on the following dates.

November 6, 2014 - Sho Pro employees, Steve and 2 other men, came out to put insulation into the exterior of my house. They could not get their equipment to work so they rescheduled to come back on November 7th, 2014.

November 7th - they returned and put in the foam insulation.

February 11, 2015 - Don brought out some guys to patch holes in the living room interior walls and spent maybe 1-2 hours.

May 12, 2015 - did not put the foam installation in the broken siding.

June 24, 2015 - Fred and Don came they used Quik set joint compound on the nails holes in the bedroom which shows through. They stayed 2-3 hours.

July 6, 2015 - Fred came out and repaired nail holes in living room to get ready to paint. He filled the nail holes with Quik set, and painted over it while wet and the nail stuck out an 1/8 of an inch. Fred got stuck in the yard while turning around and kept spinning the wheels until he got out which tore up parts of the yard 2- 3 hours.

July 9, 2015 - Fred and some other guy came out and painted the exercise room . They got paint on the trim, ceiling, left trash and plastic. Plus the nail holes are still visible.

Manager Don Lee agreed in writing that the repairs are needed but after numerous attempts with unqualified workers, each time he sent someone out to do the repairs they did more damage.

I gave them one more chance to do the repairs with a licensed electrician and a bonded licensed contractor and they have not responded.

I don’t want Sho Pro to attempt to repair the damages as promised. I just want my money back.
