Ship Your Car Now, LLC Reviews

ShipYourCarNow LLC says one thing and does another. They talk a good game but it is all a lie. My car was damaged severely by a company that ShipYourCarNow chose to move my car. You would think that ShipYourCarNow LLC would help if the company they chose screwed up... right? Noooooo...... not at all. Just the opposite happened. Of course if ShipYourCarNow LLC (also known as A-1 Auto Transport) helped me at all to recover my loss I would be singing their praises. Because they didn't help and because they literally blocked their phone so my calls would not get through.... they literally ran from any responsibility.

Cowards - Losers - Scums of the Earth. Never trust these idiots with your vehicle. They have two company names: A-1 Auto Transport out of some PO Box address and the address above in Boca Raton. Everything I research about this company is totally fake. As soon as I told them my car was damaged they said "call the trucking company that moved your car". Here is the problem. The truck driver never answers his phone. Now I can't get ShipYourCarNow to answer their phone.

So I warn you. Never deal with this company. How they have an A with the Better Business Bureau is simple. They claim to have way more employees than they really do so they can have more complaints without their rating going down. Total scam. Never trust this company. Total scammers. Call ShipYourCarNow LLC at 888-532-8805 Call A-1 Auto Transport at 800-452-2880 and ask "is this ShipYourCarNow"....??? You'll find that it is the same company. I put this review on the BBB site for ShipYourCarNow (SYCN) PierreB ★★★★★ ★★★★★ 08/27/2018 I shipped my car with SYCN and received it damaged, tank empty and +370 miles on the odometer.

They selected a carrier that was fraudulent and let them use my car 6 days long and put 370 miles on it. The best part is, although SYCN contracted them, they say I need to deal directly with this fraudulent company to try to get any kind of compensation. Bottom line: SYCN will select the cheapest possible contractors and leave you alone dealing with the consequences of their choices. Total Ripoff!

I was dealing Jay Rapport and got a quote of $650.00 and day before he called and they said he could get my shipped for $1098.00. As i was in motor vehicle and he got my sister on the phone he said he spoke to me. He then said i said she should sign my name for the $1098.00. When i got out of motor vehicle i called home. Ithen called and said it did not want to ship the the car of $1098.00. Its now three months and they put thru $448.00 on my credit card. This company is a total rip off. Even when i said no they still when ahead and charged my credit card.

The first of March 2016 after i researched for a shipping quote for my sailboat from NYC to Miami i decided to go with 'Ship your car now' services.

Zachary Weinreb called me after he told me the final quote, that was better then others, pushing me to sign to garantee the price and the reservation, he said the driver would have got back to me few days later.

i was about to take my time and read the contract but he called back once again explaining that was important to book the date, he stayed on the phone with me and guided me over my IPHONE to find the space where i had to add the digital signatre.

After that he sent and email saing the 'everything is taken care of now for me, and he was going to be in touch getting closed to the date which was the following 24th of April.

He toke the deposit of $ 1198 of a full service of about $ 4600.

The day after, I called the marina and found out there were some extra charges that i was not aware, few repares and other complication, it wasn't worthed to keep and ship the boat anymore. I called Zachary and explained the situatiojn, he understood and replay that he was going to call me the day after. I also wrote an email and got the same answer.

the following day he did not call, not the one after or any other. He did not answered to any other of my email and i did not recived any follow up on my service, no a phone call from any driver or so.

I tried to recover my deposit with a despute from my amex credit card company but since i did sign the digital contract where in one of the pages is apparently mentioned that the deposit was going to be lost in case of cancellation, my amex did credited the amount on my statment.

Originally contacted them and talked to a representative named Zack Weinreb. He misrepresented the company, stating they were "not a broker" and that all other regional brokers basically contact them (SYCN) to move their (other brokers) vehicles. He stated they had their own trucks and gave me a reasonable price to ship my car from NH to WA. We settled on a price that was a little below his initial quote, because he told me he was giving me a military discount for being a veteran. Still definitely not the cheapest, but thought it would get done by going middle of the road.

When he emailed me the contract, it specifically states they are a broker, but I didn't care if the guy embellished a bit if he got the job done, which he said they absolutely would because he said he was arranging the trucks as we spoke. A few days later, we contacted them to ship our second vehicle. A second vehicle, same address, same pick up date, absolutely makes it easier to move them both. To make sure we didn't have any problems, we even offered to drive them to Hartford, CT, or Boston, MA, if it made it easier. They declined that offer, said it would have "no real impact."

He provided the same quote for the second car, no deal below what he said I already received, but I could live with it. He asked for a two day pick-up window and told me we were all set. He told me he was juggling the inventory on their trucks to make it work!

On the first day of our pick-up window, another guy named Justin called and stated they wanted another $700 to ship our cars!!! He gave me a long story about why, but I told him I'd rather talk to Zack. He transferred me to Zack, who proceeded to give me a bunch of lies about how the Department of Transportation reissued fee schedules, and they mandated the extra money! Why not just blame Obama? After wasting my time with more BS, they eventually said they would ship our vehicles for an additional $500. They said at this rate, Zack was giving up his commission. This amount made them the most expensive of the more than a dozen brokers I received quotes from. I did ultimately have them broker the contract because I valued my time more than the pain I would go through getting my initial deposit back.

**While determining my options though, I asked if they would refund the $500 deposit and just part ways, they said, "No, we don't work for free." They specifically said they intended to keep the deposit money. Justin said, "That is why we have contracts and lawyers." Before accepting the "revised" contract, I did call a lawyer. He said I could absolutely sue them in small claims court, would probably win because they basically changed the contract terms, but then judgment does not equal payment, etc. Long story short, it would waste a lot more of my time and they wasted enough of my time, I basically had to accept their bait and switch tactic and lies in order to move my vehicles. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY REASON, NOR WOULD I RECOMMEND ANYONE ELSE, ESPECIALLY MY FELLOW SERVICE MEMBERS. YOU WORK TO HARD FOR YOUR MONEY TO BE SWINDLED LIKE THIS.

FYI: The company that transported the vehicles is in no way affiliated with Ship Your Car Now.

I got a price for shipping two vehicles from SC to CA and paid by cc.

When the shipper arrived he infomed us that we would not get our vehicles unless we paid a ransom fee of $2000.00 in cash.

Beware if you ship with Ship Your Car Now.

We thought we were hiring a professional shipping company to haul our boat, and after numerous truckers being dispatched (NONE of whom cared if SYCN EVER called them back), and paying a deposit of $4300, we were forced to take matters into our own hands, and found a shipper for $6000, far less than the $10,000 SYCN quoted. When we tried to get our deposit back, as they failed to deliver on their end after almost 60 days, we were told they already had insurance and permit costs, and they are losing 25% more, by keeping our money. They are refusing to release the deposit to us, and are now threatening slander litigation if we dont take down the bad reviews weve posted on numerous sites. Insult to injury, just shows the integrity this company possesses, so do yourself a favor, and avoid SYCN at all costs.
