Sheds For All Texas Reviews

We contracted with this company to have a 12'x16' shed constructed in our back yard. Before the crew left we could not get in touch with the owner and reluctantly wrote the check with the promise of a call. During the next week, a tropical storm threatened so my husband took a good look at the shed. This closer look revealed that they: 1) installed no drip edge to prevent rain from coming in the shed, 2) the rafters only have one gusset on each side (unlike the heavy duty example on the website),3) the double "heavy duty" doors warped within the first week leaving gaps at the top and bottom, 4) the upgrade promised 50 year paneling but research of the T1-11 used shows an expected 7 year expected endurance and it was installed incorrectly with staples for much of the construction, 5) there are multiple exposed nails that obviously should have been nailed to the studs but missed their mark, 6) the floors has holes in it, 7) where the decorative frame was added on the double doors, staples are visible on the other side of the door all the way down 8) trim boards were not trimmed to the same level as the paneling, 9) some of the studs have a 1/2'-1" gap at the bottom so these will not be load-bearing at all and 10) multiple shingles and fallen off the roof within the first 10 days. These are just the top ten problems we wanted to address.

On the website, we discovered that this sized shed with the upgrades we requested is advertised for $750 less than we were charged.

We called and left about a dozen messages, we sent 8 emails and many texts including pictures of our issues. We NEVER received a call. We informed him of our intention to pursue these issues in small claims court if he did not call to address these issues; still no call. A 6 year warranty is worthless if you can't get a call back in the first week of construction.

Since leaving the structure as is would have caused further damage, we have been forced to start our own repairs. We would be willing to allow repairs to be done with a re-negotiated price but no one will call.

It seems we were taken for a ride. As a consumer, I feel it my duty to warn others about their shady business practices. Stay away from this business.

I did not hire this company, but the neighbor behind me did. My 15 yr old son was mowing our back yard and ran over a large piece of sharp metal that flew up into the motor, stalling it. The metal was cut from the end of a large drill piece (the large screw-like apparatus) drilled into the ground to stabilize the shed (×6). My son looked around on the ground and found two more just like it. He didn't see any more, so he kept mowing and ended up running over a 4th piece, which flew up and put a hole in my less- than-1-yr-old Snapper, self-propelled mower. Luckily, it only destroyed my mower, as it could have just as easily amputated or permanently disfigured my son's leg if it had gone an inch or two in another direction. These things are NOT small by any means. I went outside and found the last of the 5 metal pieces that were in my back yard, all found spread out right across the fence from where the shed was built a day ot two earlier.

Apparently, the Sheds for All employee casually threw them over the fence into my back yard... one by one as he worked... 5 of them!!

I confirmed with my neighbor that the pieces came from the large mounting screws that were drilled into the ground. We counted that 6 of these were used on the shed and realized a 6th piece had to be somewhere because only 5 were in my yard. We soon discovered it had been tossed into the yard of our other neighbor to his left. At least the employee was kind enough not to throw his beer bottle into my yard... (he left that by the shed). My neighbor was equally disgusted by this and kindly called the company for me so I could speak to someone and hopefully find a resolution for breaking my lawnmower, as well as the blatant negligence and endangerment of this employee's actions. I spoke to, I believe, the owner, George Martin. I explained the circumstances and results that followed, foolishly expecting that he would be shocked or upset to hear of this type of unethical practice by his employee, that he would immediately apologize and/or express concern for my son, etc..

That was not the case. In a condescending, inconvenienced tone, he impatiently blurts out, "so, how much does your mower cost?" I answered the question, and I expressed my anger at the possibility of my son or family being injured, mentioning that I wasn't sure what I was going to do as far as the negligence, etc., and he said "well, wait until you decide what your going to do, because there is no sense in me trying to be nice to you if...," and I cut him off... be nice to me??? He hadn't even taken the time to apologize. At this point, his tone was so rude and disrespectful that I just took his name and hung up. I can't believe a company this unethical, negligent, and dangerous is still allowed to be in business. It is inexcusable behavior! I intend on sending an invoice to Mr. Martin with pictures, etc., to be compensated for my lawnmower, but I just feel like there should be awareness about these kinds of actions, as well as accountability. I am just grateful that my son didn't get injured. The next person may not be so lucky.

We purchased a building to be built at our home from this company in April.

They did not complete the building and will not come back out to finish it! Unfornately, we have already paid them and our check has cleared the bank. In addition to the incomplete installation, the quality of contruction was terrible!

Boards are crooked and uneven. Daylight shines in from the roof and the floor.. There is no stabilization board to keep the building sturdy, etc.

We sent an email to them after the installation, we received a call that someone would be out to look at the issues, and no one showed up. Since then, we have called and emailed for weeks and have been promised for weeks that this would be resolved.

The quality of construction is no where close to the quality of construction that they show you on the lot.

We have spoken to the owner several times who has also promised us that he will send it crew out to complete the shed, however, they never show up.

I have file reports with the BBB and Attorney General. I will be filing a law suit.

It's a shame that people spend their hard earned money with a company such as this one!

These people obviously do not care about there service or their reputation!

I have to believe that the "good" ratings are false.
