Shane was hired to remove and install a new AC unit. Shane said he needed a deposit check of $2500 to go and purchase the AC unit and parts to install. The job was ordered and paid for on a Thursday and job was to be completed next day on Friday. Shane had an excuse that he wasn't able to obtain a crane to have the unit installed on the 2 story condo's roof until saturday. Saturday came around and we received an update that the crane company canceled on him and it would be done by Sunday at the latest. Same issue with the job not being completed Sunday. Come Monday it was requested that Shane provide some form of receipt of purchasae of the AC unit and or refund the money so that another company could have the work done.
Shane at that point started ignoring all calls, texts, emails, or any correspondence for almost a month. Then he finally says he will refund the money by the end of the week on Friday which would have been 3 full business days to do so. Come Friday Shane ignores all communication and goes a week without hearing from him. Till this day still have not recieved a refund and or heard from Shane to do so.
Don't hire Shane to do any job as work will not be completed and he will run off with your money and you will never hear from him again.
