Secret Garden Pomeranian Reviews

  • Apr 24, 2017

Back in August of 2016 I purchased a puppy from Secret Garden.

She sure named that company incorrectly, she should have named it SCAMMER GARDEN

She wanted me to send her 500.00 on Paypal and wanted me to put that it was for family so that she would not have to pay the fee to Paypal. I felt something was not right, she would not provide a receipt saying that this was for a puppy deposit.

After I told her I would only send by money gram from walmart of a postal money order she finally agreed to send me her address. It was like it truely was a "secret" she did not want anyone to know where she lived.

She would send pictures of this adorable puppy, but you could always see where parts of it had been edited.

Then the day arrived to ship the puppy to me. She would only send with a friend who I was told was a pet nanny and would be 350.00. Well, when the person brought the puppy to me, she wanted 500.00. I had no choice so she followed me to an ATM and looked over my shoulder, which made me feel very uncomfortable. Then after I gave her the extra money, she handed me a crate with a puppy inside that looked nothing like what i had been getting pictures of.

The puppy was horrible. It was full of feces, smelled of urine and was foaming at the mouth. I had to throw the crate away, I could not put that nasty thing in my car and I washed the puppy in the airport sink in the bathroom.

I went straight to my vet. The puppy was severely dehydrated and had diarrhea. The puppy had to stay at the vet for two days on IV's and medication. I had another bill now to pay at the cost of 593.34.

I asked her for the health papers and she said she did not have any that when a puppy flies in the cabin that she does not need a health paper. But in the contract it stated I paid for a health certificate at the cost of 100.00.

I never received that. She stopped corresponding with me and blocked me. I had an attorney send her a letter which she never picked up at the P.O.

This person is a scammer and I was so happy to see that someone posted about her on Facebook and set up a page on Facebook for people to go to and share their experiences with this puppy mill. I was more than happy to go and write a report. I hope the other 53 people who had bad experiences with her all go to RIPOFF and report her.

She is a scammer, a liar, a fake and is lying about everything about her dogs. My dog ended up being 14lbs and has no coat. She said the parents were champions. Yet there are not photos of any champions on her page. When i asked her about this she said she could not get the photos from the person who took the pictures. What a lie. If she is a photographer, why did she not go to the show and take her own pictures? And all winners at a dog show are photographed and the owners are sent a photo of their dog winning.

DO NOT buy anything from this lying witch.

This individual is a dig collector. She buys dogs then jacks up the price and resell them. Lies about the amount of dogs she had, lies about her property, her job and her dogs. Had so many dogs she rotates them from a hidden shed to her puppy chamber where she locks them in tiny dog prisons while she spends her time buying and flipping more dogs Then every few weeks she gets to work taking photos and spending hours upon hours photo shopping them to fool, people into thinking her dogs ,live in pristine conditions. She's a neurotic Russian...she reminds me,im one of those Russian nesting dolls. Each, time you remove one there is another inside...but in her case each time you peel back a layer you see the evil beast within. A money hungry souless heartless animal who lives off her dogs and is a pitiful excuse for a human.

If you are looking to buy a Pomeranian puppy i would be very leary of this breeder. They have a nice website that just sucks you in. None of the puppies that you see on the website they will have just a fyi....so it is a little misleading. The Breeder Anna Shelde could be a good breeder or this whole thing could be a scam so just beware.

The first red flag is that if you want a puppy you have to go on a waiting list. In order to go on a waiting list you have to send her $500. When i asked is there a form or a contract to fill out, which i thought was very important as that way there is something in writing to first identify what type of puppy you are looking for and any other details and to show some form of formality about sending $500 blindly to someone on the internet, she said she doesnt have one.

She doesnt have any formal form or contract but she just wants you to send her $500 and then you may have to wait up to 6 months for a puppy.

The second red flag is that there is no set price for a puppy that you are going to send a $500 deposit in on. She says the price will range from $1800-$2500 and she wont know until they are born to determine price???? Seriously. she first wants you to send her a very Large deposit, other breeders are only $100 by the way, then she wont give you any contract or anything in writing, then your price is not set and can range as much as $700.

So she waits for a litter to be born, have you get your hopes up when you see the puppies' pictures and she cam make the price whatever she wants at that point. Like are you going to say no at that point because the price is too high, have the next person in line willing to pay her ungodly fee and you go back on the waiting list for another couple months, just to go through that all over again??? This is nothing more than a way to gouge you and prey upon your emotions.

What kind of hocus pocus is this????

Sure i will send some stranger on the internet a $500 deposit, no contract, no forms, on a puppy with NO predetermined price??

Most puppies are ready to be sold after weening at 6 weeks.

Even if you were to go through all these motions she wont give up the puppies until they are anywhere's from 8-9 weeks old.

That may be fine for most people but every dog that I ever had in my 45 years we have got at 6 weeks old just like alot of other people do and the dogs are just fine. You cant beat that special time as they are only puppies for a very short time and they are full grown before you know it.

So in the event that this is not a scam if you are willing to subject yourself to these unethical business procedures of hers, she is enjoying all that puppy time by keeping them the extra weeks AND charging you a astronomical fee for this puppy. In the meanwhile she is posting pics on line of her having fun with YOUR puppy that you are paying top dollar for. Talk about getting your cake and eating it also? who wouldnt want to have puppies during that precious puppy time of their life and then charge YOU thousands of dollars for that puppy while she plays with them??

So for those of you who like to get the puppy as soon as possible at 6 or 7 weeks old to enjoy those precious few weeks, jsut a fyi....with this place it WONT happen. If you dont care whether the puppy is older and paying up to $2500 for someone else to enjoy your puppy time then all the power to you. But its not for me.

When we asked about getting the puppy sooner than the 8 or 9 weeks the owner Anna went on to justify why she wouldnt and when we said that we were going to look into other breeders then and see if we could get one at a sooner time frame than her then she got all psycho and told me to never contact her again etc...... ????

Any consumer has a write to shop around and ask as many questions as they feel necessary, especially on such a large purchase price and try and find what is best for what they, the Consumer, are looking for. So for someone to get all psycho just raises more red flags as there is possibly something wrong with this woman and this place.

i guess i am thankful because the pictures they post on line are very tempting and any dog lover could easily get sucked into this potential scam. So if you feel that sending $500 blindly to someone in another state, off the internet, with NO formal papers, forms etc.... and willing to let her have your puppy time then good luck. We found our current pomerainian and only paid $350 and got her at 6 weeks old and she is as precious as they come. So i am thankful i didnt waste $2500 as we will just look locally as we did before.

The goal of this is to just let you know what we experienced and the potential red flags that went up for us. Whether or not she is a legitimate breeder and whether or not you will get the high priced puppy that you are blindly sending in a $500 deposit in on, I can not confirm or Deny as we did not go through with this. So I can make no claim to the validity of this "business". I only share what i experienced.
