Anne trickey is a low level staffer at the sf arts commission. Trickey has recently delagated management of the street artist program to mjm management at a cost to the sf taxpayers of $80,000 a year.
On february 1, 2019, trickey filed a copyright infringement case in us district court-san francisco against an artist who she does not know. She lied on the complaint; provided no evidence to support her claims; no images of her, "original artwork" and didn't serve the defendant.
Trickey asked for a fee waiver which was denied. She then moved from a magistrate judge to a district judge. She didn't bother to read the federal rules of court and lied on her proof of service. Trickey didn't pay the filing fee and didn't bother to notify the court. Since both of her parents are retired lawyers-charles trickey a retired appeals judge in washington state and lois trickey a retired legal aid lawyer in seattle-this is a ****huge*** fu**k up for mxxy trickey.
And what does the san francisco arts commission tom decaigney do about this? Nothing
Every three months, i have to go to the office to renew a street artist permit. I have to go there at least 3 times becasue the office isn't open. If i leave a money order under the door, it may take weeks to get the permit in the mail and i don't have a receipt. I start about 3 weeks before the permit expires. I waste an entire day to drive into the city and pay for parking. I leave a voicemail and never get a return call. How can i make an appointment to renew this permit when i don't get an email appointment or phone confirmation.? This has been going on for years and i just a waste of my time and money.
You must call her MX. ANNE TRICKEY otherwise you will get an abusive email from her. If you walk into the office to pay a permit renewal, she will call security for no reason. She has no experience in management and is just out of college. There is no oversight at the SFAC and they do not respond to complaints about her.
