SafeCart Reviews

  • Aug 27, 2020

I just spent 3 hours between numerous calls back and forth between SpeedMax PC, and Advanced Tech Support. I decided to research a bit more into both of these companies which brought me to this website here, and I can now completely understand where all the complaints are coming from. I have been billed and it appears I will continue to be billed through SafeCart for charges I did not make. I first called Advanted Tech Support as I thought that was the company I was dealing with, when i asked about suspicous charges on my credit card, ( all billed from Safecart) they pretended to now know what I was talking about and initally denied the fact that the two companies are related and refer clients to each other I searched forever for the customer service number for SpeedMax PC as they have charged me through safecart and Advanced Tech Support for some renewal product that I did not authorize. The staff at Advanced Tech pretended to not have the customer service number for SpeedMax PC, which is a bit unbelieveable as they are affiliated and as they even told me themselves they refer clients to each other! After numerours phone call I finally managed to get the 888-290 7758 number from them for SpeedMax PC. When I called that number they refused to speak about anythign billing related and referred me to SafeCart, they couldn't even tell me what the apparent renewal subscription I will be charged is for. I then asked about removing the product unwanted unauthorized product from my computer, and again no help at all, only claims that it will "improve" my computer, I have seen no such evidence and is even slowing down the speed. Thankfully I happened to notice this fine print when I decided to review the receipt...no phone number on the the invoice of course!

This initially started with a call to Advanced Tech Support about a computer repair, they then also charged me for a tune up and another unwanted product on my computer! Not only that but they blocked access to my computers for a full 24 hours and took complete control over it, then added things I did not purchase and billed me for them. I am so thankful to my friend, that I happened to mention this to, and he took a look at my computer and told me about how completly scammed I got, the systems they installed do completly nothing, and not only that they will keep billing me for no service!! When I spoke to tech support they had no answrers to give me for ther "services" they provided...yea cause they did nothing! The only thing they can tell me to do is Safe Cart is responsible for the fradulent billing and they did nothing wrong on their end. Why is safecart billing me for a product they don't even offer or know anything about? No one there knows about the products and the companies take no responsiblities they are however in charge of the billing for false items!

Ahhhh this explains sooo much! The call from my credit card company about fradulent charges and the constant spamming i am apparently now sending out through my email account and who knows how i'll be able to stop that with all the access they had to my computer. I am going to keep contacting all three companies and my credit card company until this is sorted.

Ordered and paid for RegPro and it made me contact Advanced Tech Services. These guys ended up scamming me talking me into paying for over $700 worth of programs. They supposedly fixed my computer problems, but somne still occur. Looked up SafeCart (which is the name that Advanced Tech used to take our money) and saw all the horrible reviews they had. I am one of many that they scammed and panicked!

I am reporting an unauthorised use of my credit card on 12/4/2018, amount being $21.97, plus international fee of 66 cents. I was at sea on a nonstop trip from Darwin to Cairns. What is this amount for?

Found a website online that advertized to find any court record you wanted to search. They said you pay $2.95 and have unlimited searches for 5 days and then after 5 days if you did not cancel it would charge you $24.95 monthly untill I canceled my membership.

I tried it out right after it took my money and I tried three times or so to search for a court record and it brought up nothing every time. I canceled the membership and asked for my money back cause it did not show me records that it promised it would do.

They emailed me back and said that they canceled my membership because I asked them too, but they never said anything about refunding my money back to my card so I emailed them again and told them that I wanted my money put back on my card cause their website was false advertisement.

They never answered me back after that.

SafeCart unistaller was not compatible with my computer.

They promise a refund, but I haven't gotten one yet, and I can't a reply from them.

If this is how they operate, I would not recommend this download.

I would stay away from this company period.

Their "safeinstaller" is junk.

Shame on you SafeCart

I paid for what I thought was driver downloads only to receive a receipt for $29.95 and nothing else. Thye give you a phone number to help with the download, only to funnelled to a call center in India and receive a high pressure sales pitch to pay $149.99 to clean up my computer. Then they download Super Anti Spyware, which is free and you can download yourself to clean off any spyware, I said no and wanted only help with what I thought I paid for and then they submitted a ticket to get a key for my downloads. Which of course at this point you don't trust anything and never received what I paid for and they have a money back guarantee which of course they do not honor. I am disputing through Visa to receive my money back. BEWARE do not buy anything you will only get a high pressure sales pitch to buy more. I essentially paid for a high pressure sales pitch and nothing more.

I would love to get their number. It has been less than a month. I possibly could have ordered these with drawels but I do not need them and would like to request a refund! Thankyou for your help. I am truly incensed with this company that has somehow "grabbed" my credit card number and supposedly charged me $29.95 back on 8/31/2015. I don't always wtch over my account that closely and somehow missed this charge at that time. Now they have attempted to recharge me another $39.95 in a "recurring sale" charge. I caught this charge and demanded they refund...which has been done. As a consumer living in Florida I have also filed a complaint with our Department of Agriculture in (perhaps) a hope to attain the original charge. We shall see.

How do you get information to appeal the denial of a health insurance claim?

If you read the letters they send you, they're required to give you "evidence" they've collected so you can fight your denial. And wouldn't audio recordings be considered evidence?

First, allow me to quote from the letter Aetna sent us when they denied a claim in July, for services rendered in May. It's under the headline "Access to relevant information."

"At your request, we will give you free of charge access to copies of all documents, records and other information about your claim for benefits, including the specific rule, guideline, protocol, or other similar criterion that was used in making the decision ..."

So we were told repeatedly -- in phone calls recorded by Aetna -- that a meningitis vaccination at MinuteManClinic of Texas would be covered. We were a little wary, because sometimes they say it's covered and it's not, so we really made sure. We called both the clinic and we called Aetna and of course we presented the insurance card at the clinic on the date of service and they all said it was covered.

Except it wasn't.

They want their money now, and I want the tapes. I want the audio files because it will show beyond a shadow of a doubt that they told us repeatedly it was covered. Now I'm getting collection notices from MinuteManClinic -- I knew this would happen -- while the "second level appeal" is ongoing. What does Aetna say about that? Sorry, bro. Pay it.

Meanwhile, not only will Aetna not give me the audio files -- the "evidence" I need to fight my denial -- they say that we can't record their phone calls even though they can record ours.

I was contacted by Safe Cart Advance Technical Support that they were affiliated with Microsoft and they could clean and tune up my pc, this was in August of 2014, and like a dummy I said yes and they signed me up for a three year support of $539.97; they wouldn't be able to work on the PC until I signed up. All done remotely. Well they added things on it and took off things I didn't want taken off. Then later my computer started not working correctly, so since my companion had Geek Squad for his computer support I asked them to look at it. They did a remote check and told me I had a virus and had to take the computer to them so get it repaired as it takes a lot of time to do that.

I had forgotten about them, until today they called me Advance tech support wanting to get into my PC, asked if I remembered purchased the support, which I hadn't. Told him to give me a refund and he said it wasn't his fault and told me when I could make sense to give them a call. He asked me why I paid that amount if I wasn't going to use it. To tell you the thruth I had forgotten all about it. I told him it was a dumb mistake on my part, a lesson learned the hard way. So it is a lesson learned the hard way. When I see the name SAFE CART, it scares me a I stay clear of it.

I had a driver issue with my labtop and i seen an ad for driver support, which was Safecart, so i ran this program and it said that i hads 20 drivers that needed updated so i used paypal and purchased one year of driver downloads and installs. So when i began to try and do what was said it wouldnt work right , the drivers would not install. There was a phone number (1855-771-6440) for customer support and it said it was free and they would install free of charge. Of course when i called they said they had to remotely access my computer so i let them.

The so called Tech began to try and install these drivers but he was all over the place on my labtop, saying he was checkiung for this and checking for that. He also installed some anti virus scan and i said why beause i already have eset which i pay for and to just do the drivers. I repeatedly told him to just do the drivers and he kept saying but what about this and what about that. After about 45 minutes there was a total of 3 drivers installed of which i already had downloaded. He also nsaid the program found like 19 issues that had to be fixed.

He then said i had to restart my computer but first he had to switch me over to another Tech, i said "no" lets just restart it first to see if it worked, he refused and said he had to switch me to another Tech. So this next Tech began to tell me how messed up my labtop was and he had to fix some temp files and showed me some prefetch files and said only a level 3 tech can clear these files and it was gonna cost me extra. I began to snap out and said i aint paying nothing extra and back and forth we went , i told him like 3 times to stop and he kept doing doing things on the labtop real fast untill he just finally hung up leaving my labtop the way it was unfinished and still in safemode which i had no clue how to get out of.

So i clicked the end session when i finnally found it because thay had that window minimized. So out of the so called 20 drivers that i supposedly needed only 3 drivers got installed.

P.S. I don't know if this has anything to do with it but i have eset anti theft protection and with that eset reccomends that you put in a phantom account so if my labtop get stolen and the thief tries to access it , because it has no password, thye can trace the computer. Well the next day i get an email from eset saying there was suspioucious behavior on my computer and that someone has accessed my phantom account. I HAVE NEVER SINCE I PUT THAT ACCOUNT THERE , ACCESSED THAT ACCOUNT. So you tell me.
