We were introduced to Rusty through our builder, he installed the railings on our porch as well as some decorative iron work in our house. Which he never completed and promised to complete. Lies upon lies! We contacted him to see if he would be interested in doing a job directly for us and he agreed. We met, discussed the project, drawings were reviewed. We told him that we would let him know. He called us a day later and said, "I ordered the material, I assumed it was a go, can I pick up a deposit"? Mind you, we did not tell him this was a "go".... After discussing with my husband we decided to move forward with the project, two hours after we wrote him the deposit, $1000, we were informed by the city that they would prefer we not put a gate on our porch. We contacted Rusty, explained the situation , he said not to worry about it, he has another job he could use the material on, he understood and he would bring the deposit back the next day. And finish up the work on the house he already started. That was 2 months ago. I have heard every excuse from him, working out of town, death in the family, working late, etc. He is a bold face lying thief. He will not take a phone call, will not return texts, is avoiding us like the plague. This man is a criminal and should be in jail; he's a thief! Do not do business with the chump.
